“Was in town for the weekend visiting family and made a trip to massis we don’t have any Armenian bakeries or stores in Connecticut. So many options to choose from i stocked up on things to bring home and got a bunch of mezze things for dinner with family we were visiting some of Them have never had Armenian food before and they enjoyed all of it. “Persian bakeries are hard to find. We drove over an hour to get here and were not disappointed. Everything is delicious and fresh as can be. Lots of good stuff is not on display so make sure to ask.“

“I was warmly greeted & waited on this morning by a friendly employee. He answered my questions regarding ingredients to avoid nut allergies and made a wonderful recommendation of a cake layered with creme & sweetened with honey. It was moist, not heavy or as rich as you might imagine. A perfect balance and delicious treat. Ample parking directly across the street as well as curb side. A complete delight.“

“Opens at 6am which is awesome! They have yummy coffee and MEM tea as well as a massive assortment of tasty treats (those cinnamon buns are dangerous…maybe leave those for me).

They also make cakes with 48 hours notice!!!

There is one step to get in but there may be a ramp around the side. I didn’t notice. Otherwise fully accessible and plenty of parking.

“I wanna say thank you to the Jana Grill restaurant for the delicious food! I really liked the Armenian kebab, the restaurant is cozy and comfortable. There was an event on this day, but this did not affect the service time, there were a lot of people and i want to say thank you to Dmitry, sorry if i misspelled your name, this is a waiter in a black shirt who helped me with the choice from the menu, especially with dessert it was delicious, very good service! I will definitely return to you. Thanks to the owner of this restaurant for such staff I will recommend this restaurant to everyone!“

“The most delicious pastries ever. If you love pistachio the way I do you will have trouble choosing and it is ALL great. But I particularly love the savories. The Palestinian bread and the flatbread with the green topping (forget what it's called) is a family favorite. We adore these; the flatbreads are a great quick lunch. Small bakery in East Somerville, not the easiest to get to, but at least that means there won’t be a big queue!

I tried their almond croissant and their baguette. The baguette was superb: crispy, the perfect amount of chewiness, honestly I was transported back to Paris. Extremely authentic.

The almond croissant was very good (and beautiful!) One small criticism which prevents this from reaching 5 stars: I felt like the almond paste could have been more flavourful, and the croissant itself could have been slightly crispier. But still overall solid.“

“Overall great food in a nice atmosphere. Busy brunch service with single line for pastries and eat in brunch orders. Cold brew was good but loaded with ice, wife's ginger summer drink was really good with a lot less ice. Lamb hash was full of flavor, but nothing exciting for brunch level with ground meat as the hash instead of pulled or shredded. Wife's muesli was delicious with fresh fruit. Counters and tables did not seem to be cleaned between patrons and we had to skip a few seats to find one clean to eat at. The brioche toast was delicious and we wish we could have grabbed some more pastries, but it would have been another 30 minutes in line.“

The melon pan was really good and I enjoyed the sweet crust. I just wish the inside was a bit more “cloudy”/fluffy (less doughy) like traditional melon pans. The Chocolate Croissant was amazing. Really liked the chocolate filling and the flakiness of the croissant.
The matcha latte was pretty good, but a bit too sweet. The coffee in the iced latte was a bit too acidic for my taste. All their baked goods are pretty cheap tho!“

Colette Bakery in Melrose has some of the best pastries around! I’m a sucker for chocolate croissants, and the Cho-colette croissant at Colette is so delicious (pro tip, take the croissant home and toss in the air fryer to warm the pastry!)

We ordered a dozen mixed between the all year staples and the seasonal flavors and we immediately ran back in the store to get another dozen. Special shout outs to the black and gold, chocolate chip, molasses, and sugar/Funfetti cookies. If you like a warm gooey cookie and they’re not just out of the oven, all these need is 10 seconds in the microwave. Fresh and fabulous we will definitely be back!!“
