“Went to lunch today and was impressed with the amazing customer service. The guy who took my order saved me $12 and then another worker, Miguel, went out of his way to be helpful to me as I was struggling with 3 cups and waiting for another customer to finish in the drinks station. Miguel got 3 lids and 3 straws for me and I didn't even need to ask for help! Later, he noticed I was carrying a couple of trays to the trash and once again he went out of his way to take the trays and put my leftovers in a container. He was very sweet and both interactions with Miguel put a big smile on my face. I'm always pleased to see others who enjoy their time at work and make customers feel good. My fiance and I both thanked Miguel and let him know that we appreciated his kindness. Hope Panera can give him some recognition as well :)“

“Fig is the best! Their takeout window basically got me through the pandemic, and I feel very lucky that this is my local. As a certified scone-hater, their blueberry scone is the best I've ever had. I recommend their lattes, smoothies, breakfast sandwiches (the cheddar cheese is SHARP), and chia pudding. Their lunch sandwiches are also great. 10/10 for staff, vibes, food, and coffee.“

“This is a great little coffee shop with good coffee and great vibes. There is a good amount of seating available despite the small space with a few bar stools. Both baristas were very friendly and helpful to myself and another international customer. They gave both of different ideas for places to visit and see while we were in town. The food looked great but I did not eat there so I can’t really rate that side of the business.“

Thai Tea Cake: The Thai milk tea flavor is balanced and delicate. The cake itself is soft yet slightly coarse, and the cream is smooth and creamy. It's very pleasant to eat.

Ube Latte: It tastes like the ube milk tea or ube ice cream cones I used to eat as a child, but it's not as sweet, and you can taste the good quality milk.“

Just a hop in from right off the main streets, they had a really nice selection of coffee, teas, pastries, soups, salads, etc. It’s very cozy inside with tables, chairs and low lighting. It was decently quiet inside, and the staff is friendly and helpful with suggestions. We got two pistachio lattes and they were incredibly good. Not too heavy on flavoring and they didn’t taste artificial. Overall, a nice stop for a bite and drink.“

“We were on a trip and found this Cafe during our walk through the historic places in Boston. It offers delicious pastries, various breakfast sandwiches and lots of options for coffee and tea. Their orange juice is spectacular and the closest one to a real orange juice I've ever had. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The dining area is a little small for the number of the customers but there are also chairs and tables outside. The Croissant breakfast sandwich and the Honey Halva Latte we had were so delicious. “I’ve come here many times and get the same combo. The iced coffee is refreshing and easy to drink. I can’t speak to the barista coffee. I like the fact that I saw the coffee being percolated for the iced coffee. The sandwiches are the winner. The crunchy bread, the peppers, the cheese and meat, it’s overall a well made sandwich that rings true to the name of the cafe, rustic French vibes. The staff have always been friendly when I’ve visited. It’s a cute cafe and the sandwiches and iced cafe are great at a good price.“

“Cafe Fresh is such a great spot for a fresh and delicious breakfast! They have a large selection of fresh bagels that you can customize however you like, whether you want a simple spread or a full sandwich. They also have muffins, cookies, chips, bottled drinks, and a great selection of hot or iced coffee with different flavors.

I ordered an onion bagel with lox cream cheese, and it was absolutely delicious and so fresh! The bagel had the perfect crunch on the outside while still being soft and chewy on the inside, and there was just the right amount of cream cheese.

“Glazed Bytes Coffee is selling itself short by being tucked inside a tiny, painfully forgettable mall in Brookline. The coffee itself? Not forgettable at all.

We ordered two Cloud Foam Lattes (I think that was the name), and that foam was ridiculous in the best way possible. It sits somewhere between an absurdly fluffy marshmallow and canned whipped cream, except smoother, creamier, and somehow lighter at the same time. I genuinely have no idea how they made foam feel “luxurious”, but there we are.

The coffee underneath actually held its own too. Strong flavour, unique profile, not just another Instagram café trying to survive off aesthetics and oat milk. Properly good coffee.

Honestly, the mall needs them more than they need the mall. Places like this drive foot traffic way harder than another random clothing shop nobody remembers walking into. More food spots. More cafés. More reasons for people to actually stay there.
