“Hands down, Carefree Cakery make the best cupcakes I’ve ever tasted! We have also ordered a couple of birthday cakes for our kiddos, and they too are spectacular. Not too heavy on frosting, and the cake is light and delicious. Our friends always comment on how delicious the cupcakes/cakes are. This week, we ordered a Wicked theme cake for our daughter’s 10th birthday party and it was so beautiful, I thought my kiddo was going to cry with joy when we picked it up!! “10/10! We had the stewed beef soup noodles, scallion pancakes and pork and cabbage dumplings. The soup had tender meat, delicious broth and hand pulled homemade noodles (I still regret not ordering another to go to bring home). The scallion pancakes were some of the best I've ever had--made to order, light and not too greasy. The pork and cabbage dumplings were wrapped in a thin, homemade wrapper and the filling was juicy and flavorful. While I don't have any before photos, I think the after speaks for itself.”

“There are some restaurants in the area we visit more in the fall and winter months - not the least of which is Noodles in NoHo. We stopped in for lunch today and as always the spring rolls, soup, and rice bowl were the perfect meal for a cool almost-fall afternoon. I’m a big fan of their coconut-based curry soup with udon noodles - it makes me feel as though my whole body is smiling with contentment. We’ve tried most things on the menu and all of them are superb. And on those cold, damp, blustery days ahead nothing beats their spicy offerings to warm you up!”
