“We just moved to Boston. A friend of mine recommended Ms. Yeşim. We went there to meet her and decided to eat something while we were there. The food we ate was delicious. Ms. Yeşim and her staff welcomed us with a smile. She also helped us with many things. We were very glad to have met her. If you ever go there, you should definitely visit her. “We used Baker's Best to cater an event at our home with 26 people. They were recommended to me by a friend and they did not disappoint! We ordered a range of food - our favorite was the salmon, yet the vegetable spring rolls, spinach triangles, shrimp, cheese/fruit platter and cookie platter were all delicious. I was pleased that the delivery arrived perfectly on time and the instructions for reheating were clear. I will definitely use them again!“

“We had a good experience with Flame ordering the Santorini package for 20. The chicken and rice were delicious, the salad was fresh, and the packaging was thoughtful, particularly the squeeze bottles for the dressing and garlic sauce. The hummus was okay and the tzatziki was good, as was the pita. The main complaint I have is that there was nowhere near enough falafel for 20 people. There were about 20 pieces in total, the aluminum container was nowhere near full, and many people didn't get to try it because a single piece of falafel isn't a serving for one person. The package definitely skewed heavily toward the cheaper things on the menu, like salad and rice. There were a lot of leftovers for both. That being said, would work with these guys again.“

“I've been meaning to write this review for sometime, because Lisa and her staff absolutely deserve their flowers. We have used Tex's BBQ express for our annual staff cookouts for years. When we send out the invitation one of the first questions that are asked is "are we getting food from Tex's?" The staff are so polite, accommodating, and easy to work with. I am excited to use them each year for annual outings, but their food is so delicious and they make me want to host parties of my own with them on the grill. CANNOT recommend highly enough“

“We have used La Bonne Maison twice. The first was for our wedding in 2016 and our guests raved about the food. Even our DJ said it was the best wedding meal he had ever eaten. The second time was for my graduation party following my master's degree in 2023. Same thing! Even the presentation for a backyard picnic meal felt special. La Bonne Maison delivered real ceramic serving dishes and elevated the whole affair. And their food is just SO GOOD. Their menus are not ordinary but not froufrou either. My Mother & Father had them cater many dinners and lots of our family members did also. They have catered at Son's of Italy for many years where we had the reception and they came highly recommended! “We loved working with Julian and his team for our summer 2023 wedding! We were excited to serve paella because the bride's late grandfather was known for making celebratory paellas for large events, and this felt like a good way to remember him on the big day. Julian honored that sentiment and then some!Julian was very helpful and friendly throughout the process. He helped us understand what was possible with our budget, and he helped us make selections when it came to our table settings. He was friendly and easy to work with throughout the whole process, and he had everything handled when our wedding venue coordinator left her job and someone less familiar with the venue took over.On the day of, Julian and his team were on it! The cocktail hour spread and food were both amazing, and Julian made up plates and had waters ready for the bride and groom right after the ceremony, so we had plenty to snack on while we were having our couple's portraits done. He and his team were cooking up a show, and even let the ring bearer mix some of the paella, which our family got a real kick out of! He also took candid photos throughout the day, which felt like an added bonus. Even now, six months out from the wedding, people are still commenting about how amazing the food was. Our family is trying to come up with other occasions big enough that we could hire Julian again! We wholeheartedly recommend Julian and his team to anyone looking for amazing food.“

“My team contracted Forklift Catering for a high-profile Harvard event early this year. Forklift's professional sales and event management team were incredible partners in the development and execution of a spectacular event every step of the way. They were always available to address any question or concern and were so adaptable to every plan change (down to just days before the event). They even functioned as our florist and arranged breathtaking floral displays to enhance the ambience. The catering staff and chef produced and provided great food that were the highlight of the event; I heard from everyone how much they enjoyed it (even had some on-call colleagues who gladly answered our calls because they knew they were going to be fed great food during their shift). “Clean, well organized corner grocery store and deli. Friendly and well staffed. The store is small, but not tiny. With that in mind they can't stock everything, however, all the basics are there and fresh with a few unique items. I appreciated being asked if I needed help a few times on my 10 minute visit. “I ordered this cake for my sister’s birthday, and was so beyond impressed. I ordered over the phone, and asked them if they could make a dinosaur design on the top. They responded without a beat asking what kind of dinosaur! They were so ready to go above and beyond! I live out of state, and had never been to Lizzys before, so I was going in a bit blind, but I honestly couldn’t have anticipated how blown away I was by the staff and by the end product. My sister was so excited, and it really made her birthday special!“

“I tried the plain bagel, muffin, chocolate croissant, danish, mixed fruits, and yogurt fruit cup with granola.- Plain Bagel: Subpar. Too chewy.- Muffin: Fluffy, moist, and tasty. This was my favorite of the things I tried.- Chocolate Croissant: Good but nothing special. Quality is comparable to supermarket-bought croissants rather than a fresh croissant from a bakery.- Danish: Too sweet so I wasn’t a fan.- Mixed Fruits: They weren’t that sweet, but you can never go wrong with fruits to balance out the heavier foods.- Yogurt Fruit Cup and Granola: The portion size was good. The yogurt was very smooth. I would have preferred plain yogurt. The granola was very crunchy and good.They have a lot of different menus to choose from for catering.“

To top it off ,working with Arda was a pleasure. She is extremely professional and also kind and accommodating and creative and just a lovely warm person. It felt more like I was being helped by a family member who is a great chef. “The perfect ending to the perfect wedding. We had Frosty come towards the end of my son's wedding reception as a surprise to everyone. After a fun night of eating, drinking and dancing it was the perfect ending. What fun so many guests posted pictures having an ice cream. The attendant was fun and helpful and moved quickly. I highly recommend Frosty for any occasion, who doesn't love an ice cream!“

“The best pizzagaina around! We make sure to pick one up for every Easter for the last several years. It’s one of our favorite parts of the weekend and the whole family expects it from La Cascia’s now. They sell by the half and whole but trust me you need the whole pie!!!“

“I cannot say enough good things about Wildfire Catering. They catered our wedding and the whole experience was absolutely seamless. Our venue did not have a kitchen so they prepared everything from the Amigos Locos food truck. We had a traditional happy hour with stationary and passed appetizers, and then our guests went out to the truck to select their dinner. They served our 100+ guests in no time. The food was delicious and people are still raving about it – my one friend commented that ours is the only wedding she’s attended where she left very full. Beyond the amazing food, it was an absolute pleasure to work with Bryan. He is very knowledgeable and has a ton of experience in the industry so he helped to craft the perfect menu for our event that gave everyone a choice of several options and accommodated all dietary restrictions. He also worked directly with the city to get the appropriate permits. Trust them with your next event and you’ll be in great hands!“

“Our experience with Chef Noire Boston was outstanding!Starting with being an amazing human in general, she was a top-tier professional and executed our collaboration flawlessly but made it so fun to be a part of. When she said "full-service" that was an understatement. She arrived with her team promptly, more than prepared and accommodated the unique and flexible needs of our event as it evolved and that's even before I've even talk about the food-- a grazing table so beautifully presented that no one wanted to even touch it, let alone eat it and then once they did eat it they couldn't stop. We even had guests asking for "bigger plates" so they could enjoy more of her delicious food. The food was so thoughtfully curated and, in every bite, you could tell Chef prepares every dish and element of her menu from a place of love. I mean, the food was so good!I could go on but I'll simply leave this review with gratitude for Chef Noire Boston, her team and extraordinary talent and a 10/10-- highly recommend.
