“Yes the burger and Cajun fries were good, but it was the milkshake that made my day. I took advantage of their mix-ins to get a very creative milkshake, and was impressed by the quality of the mixing: despite the solid stuff added, I was able to drink the whole delicious thing through a straw without leaving anything stuck at the bottom (picture for proof).“

“This place is unique. Started in 1911 frequently by police and fire department personnel. Has an incredible history. Stories you can almost not believe but they’re true. The wonderful hostess behind the bar told us lots of things about the place. The burgers were excellent. The only strange thing is it’s cash only but they did have atm.

“We had a large party of 14 and the staff were so kind and accommodating. Colleen was our server and she never lost her smile or her professionalism. She kindly provided separate checks for our different groups, the food came out quickly, and even brought out a cake I brought with candles on it. I appreciated that Wood-N-Tap allowed us to bring our own cake, and they even cut and served it. It was easy to make a reservation over the phone, and the staff could not have been more awesome. The food was really tasty and provided a lot of great options for all dietary needs.“
