“Service is always quick. Food is pretty good for this area. I’ve had better but not so much locally. Dining area really isn’t even a dining area, it’s just a couple of small tables so I wouldn’t plan on eating here. You’re better off just taking it to go! Overall I’d recommend this place though!“

“I had a great experience at Grand 38! The atmosphere is welcoming, the service is excellent, and you can really tell they care about their customers. God is truly wonderful, and I’m thankful for such a great place to spend time.

A special shoutout to the bartender she’s amazing! She’s friendly, attentive, and always makes sure everyone feels welcome. Her positive attitude and outstanding customer service really stand out. “My partner and I really enjoy the food at Lake East! It's one of the only American Chinese food places that serves the barbeque pork strips I really like. We've gone here twice, the first time was two years ago when we were staying in the area and we liked it so much we decided to go back last night for take out again. I would definitely say it's more of a take out location than an eat in location but the food is good and I would recommend!“

She refused to allow me to speak to her supervisor and said she would not give me his name, per his instructions, so I could give feedback and resolve the issue.“

“I've been wanting to try this place for a long time. I've always heard great things. Today i stopped in and got the best hot & sour soup I've had in 30 years. I'm talking nearly perfect. I also got a chicken yaki udon noodle and id give it a 9/10. Great bouncy noodles with plenty of flavor and no shortage of chicken and veggies. I cannot wait to try more from this place. I'm coming from tewksbury and it's totally worth the drive.“

“I've been going here for over 10 years. I love the crab rangoon. And all the food. But , they must spend a fortune in printing menus because they always charge you more than what the menu says and then they tell you that the menu is old. I'm posting a picture of two menus that I just got in the past month. Another picture is what I just got online, I took a screenshot. And it also says that the menu was updated 2 days ago. So if the menu was updated two days ago and as you can see in the picture it says $10 minimum for Visa or MasterCard. When I get there she says it's a $15 minimum for Visa or MasterCard. So she charges me an extra dollar. Besides the fact, that I was charged more than the price of the menu I just got last week. And she says don't you have any cash? I said no. She always asks for cash. And then she up charges me. She's a little tiny lady with a sweet little voice. But also a very big scam artist. I always support local businesses. But I do not support you taking my hard earned money out of my pocket. And then saying oh well. After over 10 years I'm done. There's plenty of other places to go. If you try to call her out on her scamming, she say to leave now. I don't need that kind of drama.“

“Who is actually very surprising good considering the location. They have these combos you can pick up for about $16 with a ton of food. Very authentic tasty food for relatively cheap prices. Almost comparable to something you would get in New York. Plus it's got a full bar in the back“

Everything from the fresh fish that tasted like it came sea to restaurant, to the veggies that tasted farm fresh to table, everything here was 20 stars. In my personal preference and opinion, the sandwich was a little bland and the onions were too crunchy for my taste. Would be really good if there was an option for fresh sliced avocado and some sort of crema or chipotle mayo sauce with lettuce, tomato. This would be my preference but I forgot to check and add these additions. The cheddar cheese was on point.

The potato salad was a knock out of the park. I was full and couldn’t eat it all and I didn’t want to leave it on the hot car so I needed to get rid of it. Would get this again. Not so much the turkey sandwich but again this is personal preference and not fully reading the menu.“

“The food was amazing. I ordered the beef noodle soup bowl with tripe, tendon and steak, but my noodle bowl only came with steak in it. I had asked for extra meat which I was happy to pay for, but only got a meager portion. I then did order an extra helping of sliced steak, which of course was delicious! Overall amazing food but service needs a little work.“
