We have been having this pizza since way back in the 80’s when it was at the railroad station when every pizza was perfect. Glad too see that same quality again. “I bought the most delicious cranberry almond scone and ate it a day later. Somehow it was still soft in the middle, crunchy and crisp on the outside, and had just enough sweetness you’d want from a scone. The lemon rice chicken soup was amazing. The owner and staff are lovely. In the past I’ve pre-ordered a Buche de Noel for Christmas supper and not only was it festive and beautiful, it was a chocolatey, decadent, and divine treat. What a gem of a bakery!“

“Every year I host a tennis charity event Serve For a Cure in support of the Jimmy fund and the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. I reached out to Nothing Bundt Cakes, via email thinking they wouldn’t answer me. I got an phone call saying they would like to donate cakes to my event. When I was told how many, I was flabbergasted. They were so generous and very easy to work with. The day of my event a friend of mine picked up the personal cakes, and we gave them out to the tennis players. I some how got 4 of them. They were delicious! I would highly recommend Nothing Bundt Cakes for your next occasion or even just a sweet treat.“

“We got our wedding cutting cake here and it was absolutely amazing! We had many kosher guests who loved the cake, plus it was dairy and nut free for our many guests who had dietary restrictions. The wedding cake tasting was super fun, they set up a little bistro table in the store for us and had many options to try. So far I’ve had the tabbouleh, the Israeli salad, baked fish with veggies, challah and chocolate babka and they were all so, go good! I still have frozen soups and a mushroom pot pie to try and can’t wait to eat my way through them this week for lunch. The fish was so good I can hardly believe it was frozen. My daughter kept asking for bites so I will be sure to buy multiple next time. I’ve been meaning to try this place and wish I’d gotten here sooner. They are gluten and dairy free and mostly meat free as well. A lot of their ingredients are organic and they use quality oil. They were telling me while I was there that they grind some of their flours in house. You can taste the quality! It’s so nice to have a safe, healthy and DELICIOUS option for take out! This place is worth the trip and I will absolutely be back. 😊“

“I grew up in the area and have lived abroad—mostly in Europe—for the past 15 years. Over that time, I’ve become very aware of the differences in ingredients and food quality between Europe and the U.S. When I come back each year to visit family, I often find that a lot of American food leaves me feeling bloated and uncomfortable, likely due to additives, dyes, and lower-quality ingredients that I’m no longer used to.

Blue Moon Bagel Cafe is the one wonderful exception.

I’ve been coming here since high school, and it’s the place I genuinely look forward to eating when I’m back in town. I truly trust their ingredients: the food tastes fresh, clean, and well made, and it doesn’t leave me with that heavy, uncomfortable feeling I get elsewhere. The sandwiches are delicious, everything feels thoughtfully prepared, and the staff is consistently friendly and welcoming. Prices are also quite reasonable for the area, especially considering current inflation in the US.

I’ll admit that some of the desserts are total sugar bombs—but that’s probably just my now very European palate talking! For those who love a sweet treat, they’re clearly doing something right.

All in all, Blue Moon Bagel Cafe is a real gem in Medfield. I’m grateful it’s still here and always make a point to visit when I’m back about once a year. Thank you for staying true to quality and consistency all these years.“

“This was our first order from flour moon bakery. We wanted to have an under the water birthday cake with some tropical flavor. Ellen is wonderful to communicate with. She was very accommodating about decorations and the flavor. I think there is no flavor that she cannot do for you! we decided to choose mango flavor on the layers with a hint of pineapple on the cake. The cake turned out very yummy and felt like a piece of paradise in my mouth. The guests absolutely loved the flavor and cake.
The decoration was 10/10, flavor 10/10, she also delivery in the surrounding towns, which was absolutely life saver 10/10.
She was very through about our need and always communicated to include the last-minute needs. Will definitely come back.“

“I had the Sukiyaki Udon here and it was absolutely magnificent! The udon's broth was rich and flavorful, and all the ingredients were distinct, fresh, and perfectly balanced. The portion size and price point were both very reasonable, as it’s not “cheap,” but the quality thoroughly justifies the cost.

More than just food, what stood out most to me was the level of hospitality. The servers in this place were passionate and attentive, frequently checking in to make sure everything was going well and even refilling my water without me having to ask. It made this whole dining experience feel warm and welcoming.

If I could suggest one thing, I’d love to see a bit more East Asian ambiance, by maybe having some popular background music to match the amazing udons.

“Third time here and it’s an absolute gem. The burger is consistently delicious and the beer selection is excellent.
Their service is on point and here’s why:

Brian M our server was on top of it on a busy Saturday night, quick and attentive, I noticed the price of my Buffalo Trace was different on the printed menu from the online menu, I didn’t mind the price difference bc I was happy to pay it (it was a great old fashioned) but after I pointed out the price difference…he thanked me for letting them know and comped my drink! It wasn’t necessary at all but I really appreciate that kind of response.
Secondly, I ordered the fish and chips, which is the best fish and chips I’ve ever had (shout out to the kitchen staff!) But the fish portion was a little small. I’m assuming the manager clocked it, came over and said that’s a small piece of fish let me get you another one. She came out with a piece of fish twice the size. That’s good service!
