This morning we had less than 1 minute with the menu, the order taking was rushed and incorrect, and we were pointedly asked if we were “done” (i.e., leave) despite being there for only 30-45 minutes in total - rude.“

“My wife and I were in Wakefield to purchase car and when we were finished we realized we had not eaten all day. We found this gem of a diner. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. The food was outstanding. I started with the beef stew. it was excellent. It was not to salty, you could tell it was homemade the flavor brought me back to childhood. My wife started with the chicken and rice soup which she said was also fantastic, once again not to salty. I had the hot turkey sandwich with gravy. The gravy was outstanding. My wife had the teriyaki chicken stir-fry which was delicious. We needed the meal by brining home 6 raisin oatmeal cookies. I would highly recommend North Ave. Diner if you are in the area.“

I just had surgery on my hand and I mentioned to my cousin how an omelette would be easier to eat then picking up a sandwich. “I've often walked past this great place during my daily walks. The blinds were always down, so I thought it wasn't open. However, when my sister visited from Quincy earlier this week, we decided to have breakfast there. Peter’s Sunrise did not disappoint. Everything was delicious. My sister even said the toast was the best she had ever had at a breakfast restaurant. The coffee is good too. The service was welcoming as well. Today will be my 4th time having breakfast there. I like well done. Fried haddock is considered a special item but usually available. This is delicious if you like fried items. I am there every Saturday for lunch. Give this place a try. “Amazing gluten free cafe and bakery. We had the peach grilled cheese, pancakes, and a breakfast sandwich and all 3 were amazing. My fiancé was diagnosed with celiac 15 years ago and she said it’s the best pancake she’s had since she was diagnosed. We also got iced coffees, both were delicious. Everyone in my 4 person party were thrilled with their choices (3 breakfast sandwiches and a grilled and buttered blueberry muffin and side of sausage) I’m not a big egg fan but the sandwich sounded so good. The eggs were cooked perfectly and balanced with the right amount of meat and cheese. The English muffin was cooked to a perfect crisp. Not only that but EVERYONE working there was so friendly and welcoming. It was our last day in Boston and I only regret not finding this place sooner. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. I’ll be thinking about that breakfast sandwich for a long time.“

“We were traveling and needed to stop for breakfast. This location is right off the highway! When we walked in it was super clean and smelled clean. We were greeted right away and seated. The atmosphere is very family friendly…we saw kids, seniors, families, even a high school/college soccer team of young men. Our waitress was Lynn. She was very responsive and friendly. Our food was brought out quickly. After enjoying a tasty breakfast, we were back on the highway quickly. Very satisfied with the whole experience! My family and I will be back, the next time we are traveling through.“
