“The best brunch on the Northshore. Christopher's is one of Lynn's hidden gems. We go out of out way to return as often as we can. The Spanish Omlette with corned beef hash is cooked to perfection. The egg wraps, sandwiches, and most of all the home fries are fabulous. The service is always top-notch. They even went out of their way to stock turkey bacon after we mentioned it during one of our visits. Thank you!
Kid-friendliness: A hit with the kids. The waitress and chef were very accommodating and the hot chocolate was a hit.“

“OH. MY. GOODNESS. Sunny Girl is now home to my absolute favorite english muffin breakfast sandwich! Both 'The OG' and 'The Sunny Girl' were so delicious that we were already planning on when we could go back again as we left the restaurant. Smaller inside but has a cute window bar and there are some tables out front where you can sit on a nice day - highly recommend!“

“My wife and I were in Wakefield to purchase car and when we were finished we realized we had not eaten all day. We found this gem of a diner. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. The food was outstanding. I started with the beef stew. it was excellent. It was not to salty, you could tell it was homemade the flavor brought me back to childhood. My wife started with the chicken and rice soup which she said was also fantastic, once again not to salty. I had the hot turkey sandwich with gravy. The gravy was outstanding. My wife had the teriyaki chicken stir-fry which was delicious. We needed the meal by brining home 6 raisin oatmeal cookies. I would highly recommend North Ave. Diner if you are in the area.“

“If you're into little places that make you feel right at home, Ernie's Lunch is a must try.
My wife and I both got a full breakfast and a side of bacon and pancakes for only 28 bucks. It would have been roughly 40+ anywhere else. Food was fantastic as well!
And the service was even better than the food if you can imagine that!
Atmosphere may not be up your alley, it's an older spot and looks like such but once you walk in you'll either smile and sit down and have a great breakfast with incredible service, or you'll miss out lol
Either way Ernie's has become me and my wife's new favorite spot for breakfast (when we're lazy lol) on weekends!“

“Cash only but hands down the best breakfast I've had in Massachusetts. I travel for work and try to always go to mom N pop shops. This one was awesome. Calm environment for breakfast and their home fries have become my top of the list.“

“Stopped here for the Hungry man… for $16. The food was OK. The potatoes were cold with hot spots. They put the cold butter on the hot pancakes, never figured out why they’d do that. But, there are something’s in the world I’ll never understand. If I am in the area, I’d consider Freddy’s or go to McDonalds and cut the cost in half.“

“I've often walked past this great place during my daily walks. The blinds were always down, so I thought it wasn't open. However, when my sister visited from Quincy earlier this week, we decided to have breakfast there. Peter’s Sunrise did not disappoint. Everything was delicious. My sister even said the toast was the best she had ever had at a breakfast restaurant. The coffee is good too. The service was welcoming as well. Today will be my 4th time having breakfast there. I highly recommend it.“

“I'm going to give it all 5s I waited half hour for breakfast but it is what it is. It's the silver slipper it's expected. Food doesn't disappoint at all ever. Don't go in there with high expectations of a 5 star lounge. Just eat enjoy leave a tip then leave.“

“This place is great. I am not a breakfast person so I go for lunch. Two great items are the burgers and the fried haddock sandwich with steak fries. Burger always cooked the way you like it. I like well done. Fried haddock is considered a special item but usually available. This is delicious if you like fried items. I am there every Saturday for lunch. Give this place a try. You will not regret it.“

“This restaurant really exceeded my expectations. In this part of Boston, this restaurant is a hidden gem. My gyro was excellent, especially considering the cost, and the lemonade that came with it was very delectable and refreshing. This restaurant's food is unmatched for the price. The atmosphere is also very nostalgic to me, and I very much enjoy the open-air aesthetic, which gives lots of natural light. Every employee in this place was extremely humble and kind. I will definitely be recommending this amazing destination to all of my friends.“

“We loved this place! At first we were sceptical, after sitting down and ordering our food, however, we began to love every bit of this place. You can really feel the love, history and hard work, which keeps this coffe house going. We would definitely come back here, and the pancakes were AMAZING!!! Would recommend this to everyone who wants to eat and drink well and support a small business, full of happiness.

Kid-friendliness: MEGA!!!

“What a lovely spot on a summer evening! Music was fun--a wedding/cover band that had some very good musicians and singers. Menu was limited but food came out right away and was very good. Prices were, as expected, kinda high, but we thoroughly enjoyed it all.“

“This was a fantastic neighborhood diner. It was just down the street from the house that we were renting for a weekend, so it was very convenient. But it was also fabulous… Probably owned by a Greek family, and had breakfast that were uniformly excellent. The pancakes, the waffles, the eggs, everything.“
