You couldn't ask for better service or food . Go outside of your comfort zone, and ask him for recommendations for a meal. “Decent option for large portion lunch specials.

Been in Lowell quite a bit lately and stopped by twice to try their lunch specials. Both times, I was the only person dining in, though there were a few takeout orders going out. The owner was super friendly and while the restaurant seemed like a single man operation, everything came out quick.

The food. The portions for most dishes were easily double what I’d expected from a typical appetizer/ lunch specials. Unfortunately, the overall quality was subpar. Some small plates, like the spare ribs, were clearly reheated in the microwave, and the excess moisture from the thawing process was clearly visible on the bottom of the plate. General Tso’s chicken had thick and soggy breading and very little meat, which made it a carb-heavy bite. Since it had been fried and frozen beforehand, it tasted almost identical to one of those frozen Chinese chicken plates from grocery stores. Thankfully, the pork belly dishes held better even after freezing. Both the garlic chili pork belly and the double cooked pork belly were genuinely enjoyable.

Overall, better than food-court Chinese, but not quite on par with average Boston Chinese restaurants. Lowell’s Chinese food scene is pretty underwhelming, so it might be worth a stop if you’re looking for an inexpensive yet filling meal.“

“What an amazing restaurant in the most ideal location in Lowell. Today was my first time having entered the beautiful location and had take out. I can without a doubt state that my husband and I will be coming in and be patrons because of the friendly service, unique style, and most definitely the fresh ingredients used in their menu. Thank you for helping me on a stressful day and so happy I finally came in!“

“Wanted to try their lunch specials. The portions were very large and reasonably priced. You get only white rice and soup with your Entree. Portions are big enough to share. Big choice of classic Chinese food. You would need to order appetizers extra if you want it. Fried rice is on the dinner menu, but lunch is only white rice. Dinner portions are large enough to share. Next time we will order one dinner entree, one order fried rice or lo-mein, and one appetizer about the same price as 2 lunches.“

“We ordered the D2 Dinner plate (General Tso) and the D12 plate (pork fried rice with 3 appetizers.). The pork fried rice was fresh with chunks of pork in it, the chicken fingers and crab ragoons were perfect! The General TSO chicken was perfectly made and the egg roll was amazing. We have found our new place to order Asian/Chinese food from! Very fresh and made to order.“

“Top three Chinese restaurants I have ever been to. The vegetable lo mein is delicious! The waiter I had was wonderful: thoughtful, checked on us without being over bearing and packed up the food and even asked if I wanted extra duck sauce (I really liked the duck sauce)“

“We order the fresh hand-pulled noodles all the time here – it’s probably our favorite takeout in the neighborhood. Always absolutely delicious – I particularly like the ones with fermented spicy chili paste. They have cleaned up the restaurant a bit since the dark days of Covid, so it’s actually pleasant to eat in. But there’s nothing like leftover noodles in the fridge for a delicious snack…“

Chow fun (special and Singapore) are a crowd favorite, as well as the Szechuan style dishes, and the family style. Amy the owner/chef is very kind. Food is delicious!“

“Ever since I ordered from here years ago, I have always loved this place. I got D19. Everything was hot and delicious. Chicken wings at other places have no taste, but here wow! Bug too. It's like two chicken wings. Everything is juicy and delicious, not dry. Big pieces of pork and veggies in the pork low menu. Extra soy sauce, duck sauce is free. Other places in the same area charge extra. When you walk in, the guy behind the counter is smiling and very friendly. I don't live close by, but the drive is worth it. “Food is really good — I usually get takeout, and it’s always fresh and tasty. When we dined in, though, it took a while for the food to come out, and one of our orders was wrong. Still, the flavors made up for it, and our waitress was super nice and apologetic. Overall, great spot for delicious Asian food, especially for takeout!“

One word of advice I'll offer is I've been told this place is more northern Chinese style, but they still have some menu items that are more southern/western dishes and I tend to not think they are as good here.“

Everything was delicious and matched our expectation of a no frills dim sum experience. “The food is so good I did get sweet and sour chicken but to my surprise it wasn't what I thought it was going to be they give you chicken fingers with pink sauce but in their menu chicken fingers is really chicken tenders that's why I thought I was going to get sweet and sour chicken I usually get that with my rice“

“Excellent lunch specials and a great value. The kung pao lunch special with fried rice and two chicken wings is only $10.95 and my favorite thing to order. Most of their lunch entrees are only $11-12, and it is very generous to give chicken wings and vegetable fried rice with the entrees. It’s a go to for me.

“A 4.5 rounded up for their authentic dishes. The low reviews may reflect folks who are expecting Americanized Chinese food like General Gao’s, crab rangoon, brown colored fried rice and so on. But this restaurant is serving authentic Sichuan food from southwestern China which exemplifies bold, pungent and spicy in your face flavors. I love Cantonese cuisine and even eat Americanized Chinese food now and again but know it’s not fair to review a Sichuan restaurant on their few non Sichuan menu items.

We loved everything we ordered from the extensive menu and only wish the food was a bit less salty. I will ask them to make our order less salty next time. To be fair, the salt level is probably how most people would prefer their food but we are low salt people. I can’t wait to return and work my way through the menu. Recommend if you want to try authentic Sichuan food. Don’t come if you want crab Rangoon and red colored pork strips.“

“The food was pretty good, wasn’t that big of a fan of the lo mein but it wasn’t bad! Online it said it was only $41 but when I got there it was $51, she let me pay the $44 I had and told me come back tomorrow to pay the rest, which I will. I appreciate that gesture, the customer service was nice! The atmosphere was not great AT ALL. I’m not sure if they were re doing the restaurant but there was only one table and a few chairs put around the restaurant, it was pretty full of people and I had no space to be in there comfortably, on a hot day, this was not what I was hoping for! But it wasn’t the worst experience.“
