Been in Lowell quite a bit lately and stopped by twice to try their lunch specials. Both times, I was the only person dining in, though there were a few takeout orders going out. The owner was super friendly and while the restaurant seemed like a single man operation, everything came out quick.

The food. The portions for most dishes were easily double what I’d expected from a typical appetizer/ lunch specials. Unfortunately, the overall quality was subpar. Some small plates, like the spare ribs, were clearly reheated in the microwave, and the excess moisture from the thawing process was clearly visible on the bottom of the plate. General Tso’s chicken had thick and soggy breading and very little meat, which made it a carb-heavy bite. Since it had been fried and frozen beforehand, it tasted almost identical to one of those frozen Chinese chicken plates from grocery stores. Thankfully, the pork belly dishes held better even after freezing. Both the garlic chili pork belly and the double cooked pork belly were genuinely enjoyable.

Overall, better than food-court Chinese, but not quite on par with average Boston Chinese restaurants. Lowell’s Chinese food scene is pretty underwhelming, so it might be worth a stop if you’re looking for an inexpensive yet filling meal.“

“What an amazing restaurant in the most ideal location in Lowell. Today was my first time having entered the beautiful location and had take out. I can without a doubt state that my husband and I will be coming in and be patrons because of the friendly service, unique style, and most definitely the fresh ingredients used in their menu. “Wanted to try their lunch specials. The portions were very large and reasonably priced. You get only white rice and soup with your Entree. Portions are big enough to share. Big choice of classic Chinese food. You would need to order appetizers extra if you want it. Fried rice is on the dinner menu, but lunch is only white rice. Dinner portions are large enough to share. Next time we will order one dinner entree, one order fried rice or lo-mein, and one appetizer about the same price as 2 lunches.“

“This place is an undercover gem. In the land and times of terrible American/Chinese food, this place stands out. I took the gamble and will certainly be back for more. The sushi was very fresh and the beef and mushroom was surprisingly high quality. If anyone is on the fence, do it.“

“What a hidden gem. I am surprised that people are not lining up outside their door to eat there. In my opinion they have some of the best Chinese food I ever had. We had the garlic eggplant and the Stir fried Tofu. The two dished were perfectly done in both taste and texture. Very reasonable prices as well. This is the second time we were there and plan to go back many more times.“

“We order the fresh hand-pulled noodles all the time here – it’s probably our favorite takeout in the neighborhood. Always absolutely delicious – I particularly like the ones with fermented spicy chili paste. They have cleaned up the restaurant a bit since the dark days of Covid, so it’s actually pleasant to eat in. But there’s nothing like leftover noodles in the fridge for a delicious snack…“

“Tried it for the first time today. I really enjoyed the Hot Sour hand pulled noodle soup. I got extra noodles and medium spice. I will definitely be ordering again. The broth was packed with flavor, it all arrived hot and well packed. Give it a try.“

I love the crab rangoons, the general tsao’s chicken, the veggie lo mein.
The establishment itself is outdated but it adds charm to the place, I love it.

I regularly come to Fortune corner because they never disappoint. Fast and quality service . Food is always amazing, if you know what you want but don’t see it on the menu just call and tell them and you’ll be amazed by how quick and tasty the food is. Very fair price as well.

On noticing one container was leaking, they ran back and repackaged it and helped me take it outside . The food was great and everyone at the party was very happy. “Ever since I ordered from here years ago, I have always loved this place. I got D19. Everything was hot and delicious. Chicken wings at other places have no taste, but here wow! Bug too. It's like two chicken wings. Everything is juicy and delicious, not dry. Big pieces of pork and veggies in the pork low menu. Extra soy sauce, duck sauce is free. Other places in the same area charge extra. When you walk in, the guy behind the counter is smiling and very friendly. I don't live close by, but the drive is worth it.
