“Good burgers! I ordered the avocado burger with fries and it hit the spot. Not a ton of space inside and they don't take reservations less than 6 as a FYI. We came on a Friday night and walked around Downtown after putting our names on the wait list. Friendly staff and overall good experience!“

“I frequently go to the Tavern for lunch. The food and service are always outstanding. My favorite sandwich is the blackened chicken. It has a nice bite to it. It's a quaint tavern. Very clean. I want to commend the owner and his staff on how professional they were yesterday with some patrons who could not control their kids. The moms were too busy drinking their wine to pay attention to the kids. The owner approached the table and asked the kids very politely to please sit down as they were very load and disruptive to those nearby. He even offered to move us as we were sitting right next them. When the women left they had their kids bang on the windows and stood by laughing. I work in the restaurant business myself and I was very impressed with the owner and staff as they tried their best to make our experience at the tavern the best that it could be under the circumstances. Thank you for another wonderful lunch!!!“

“This place is a solid dive like bar with a cool atmosphere & great bartenders. When we first got there it was packed with a lot of college aged kids watching the basketball games. Thought about leaving since we were looking for a more bar stool bum kinda place but after talking to the bartender Sean we decided to stay. Crazy coincidence was that his last name & my married last name were almost exactly the same. Only off by one letter which was hilarious (had to be there/ know the last names). We also chatted about closing Wolski's which is a must do for any Milwaukeean or visitor who loves a good ol dive bar. Sean was great with getting drinks to us fast as well as other bar recommendations that were our style. After being there for a bit it cleared out & the bar stool bumming began. If you are looking for a good place to have a cold one at with great convos with the bartenders, pop in here.“

“Hosted a private event in the second floor space (private bar, restroom, and sound system) and it went perfectly. Comfortably fit 50 guests. Staff were attentive and friendly. Ray was responsive and helpful with planning leading up to the event. Pints were delicious.“

Started with an appetizer special of corned beef poutine. We also had corned beef pizza and shepherds pie. “Had to try the famous chicken Cesar pizza because who doesn’t like salad on a pizza? It literally tastes like how it seems but weirdly good, and there’s so much cheese on top I think that’s the main reason I like it. Their steak tips is also delicious, the steak is well marinated filled with rich red winey flavors.“

“If you are ever in Boston this is place is a must, staff is always great. A couple years ago after a Celtics game we stumbled to this bar, and we had to come again before we left Boston on that trip we loved the burgers, staff and atmosphere so much. We came back recently last week and we had to stop at Porter's luggage and all ? they were super accommodating and we really loved our time there again. For me and my guy it's our spot when we're in Boston“

“This place was packed and I’m guessing it’s mostly with tourists. The place is what the TV series was based off of and there are several pictures, artifacts, and memorabilia throughout the bar. The place is kind of small so it’s difficult navigating from one end to the other. Those looking to buy some gear, you can walk in and walk straight to the back where there’s a cashier and you can purchase things there. Like T-shirts, coasters, signs, and more. We didn’t eat here or drink anything as the wait was too long, but it seems like a good place to say I’ve been there and done that. #cheers“

“Last Friday was my first time at saloon and I am already planning to come back. I was in awe of the busy atmosphere, the music was good, the drinks were good and the Caviar French onion dip was delish! “Very nice spot for food and drinks. Our waitress service started out good and then went down hill. I've never seen an ice tray with oyster shells, used lemons and plates stay the entire dinner melting away. I was never asked if I wanted another $14 drink which I'm sure the owner wants to sell. We also had to share our water. My wife said (she just watched you taking some of my water and never came over) A little food left and we finally were served a carafe of water. Waited a while for the check. Several tables around us empty. I stood up to find someone and she came over.“

“James at Peppers Grille in Bedford, MA did an amazing job catering our Oktoberfest corporate event with 100+ guests. Everything was homemade, fresh, and arrived hot . James helped plan out the entire menu, was always available via email and phone, and just a pleasure to work with. Our employees were very happy and asked us where we got the catering from- Peppers Grille is our new go to!“

“Best Hostel/Hotel I've ever rested at. The location is a rock throw to famous Charleston Bunker Hill Monument and the heart of BOSTON and the Encore Casino. Covientstores under 5min and one directly across the street, Verity of Food places also that deliver.“

“A great spot . Friendly staff. This place has the BEST burger in the Boston area . Big , juicy burger, great char .. great toppings ... hand cut fries that are hot and fresh and amazing . Soft brioche like bun that actually fits the burger . I was blown away . Also one of the few places with Harp on tap . Menu is limited right now but hopefully all the food will be as good as this Burger !!“

We were sad to discover that they have cut down their hours and are so short staffed that their 2 bartenders are tripleling as Bartenders. waiters and greeters. They are doing an astonishingly good job fulfilling all these demands. Apparently they are also shortstaffed in the kitchen since at present are only offering a quite limited menu of appetizers. It appears they will likely be squeezed out of their spot. For many of us this is quite a loss, I am sure we are not tge only ones that consider this restaurant the top brew bar in the Encore“

“A bar as comfortable as a well worn pair of shoes. A chill vibe and excellent food!Oysters were plump and fresh, their Asian prep is great: yuzu soy, ginger and wasabi. Very tasty! Their house cocktail sauce is good too.The Smoked Seafood.Chowder was a surprising standout! Chock full of smoked fish and in a "not too rich" cream base, this isn't an overly thickened chowder and one of the best chowder I've had.Lobster Roll is very good and well priced. Not too overly dressed and LOTS of minced lobster, topped off with a strip of bacon. Seems to be a P-Town thing, bacon on a Lobstah Roll. I'm not mad at it at all! Good sweet potato fries, the harissa sauce can use more harissa. The CURRY FRIES are legit!Good beer and whisky selection.“

“I have a sodium restriction and they accommodate very well. I check my medical stats today and no change. This shows that they didn't use sodium items on my food and still made it flavorful I loved the Haddock, Fries well needed ketchup and the coleslaw had to be made on site just by the creaminess and the freezing lemonade was unforgettable.“

“I recommend anything but the calzones. I’ve ordered food a bunch of times from Franco’s, a few times in person and 3 times via Grubhub. All 3 times I ordered through Grubhub I chose a calzone. The first time the calzone was cooked fantastically, but the last 2 times it was raw dough in the middle where the folds are. The last time I ordered a calzone which happened to be raw in the middle I just threw it away because I didn’t have time to make a complaint. I ordered another calzone tonight hoping it was just a fluke (New cook? Just super busy and overlooked? Whatever, we all make mistakes NBD) since everything else in my order was perfect. When it arrived I checked the calzone and it was raw again. I made the decision to call the restaurant to let them know and to see if I could send it back for something different. The man on the phone told me I was wrong and that he cooked it himself and it wasn’t raw because “he checked”. I told him it most certainly was raw and that I was hoping for an exchange. He said he couldn’t do anything for me and I’d have to call Grubhub about that. He said I’d have to go in person to exchange it. I said “okay fine I guess I’ll call Grubhub” and then he said something I couldn’t understand and hung up on me. I’m really disappointed. I frequent Franco’s for karaoke and spend money at the bar and restaurant often enough to expect a fair exchange and some decent customer service when I need it. I asked for his help and he offered me nothing. Order anything else but the calzones unless you like your dough to be raw, I guess? I HIGHLY recommend the jalapeño poppers though. They’re always perfect and a surprisingly good size.“

“Walked here before a concert. We grabbed a high top and stole chairs from other people's tables they weren't using. We were trying to order food on the app when the bartender came over. She was super nice, asked if we needed drinks. Gave some recommendations. We started with tatchos, a Vermont cider and a Long Island. We also ordered burgers. I did not expect the food to be as good as it was. The burger was really greasy but honestly I haven't had a burger like that in so long-it was welcomed. Everything was so damn good. If we didn't live 2 hours away it would easily have been a regular visit.“

A great menu of basic American fare, so there are no surprises. Our server was wonderful and very attentive. Prices are good too and the drinks are great.
