“Found this place while driving and gave it a try. I was not disappointed. The staff are very friendly, the resturant is clean and cozy, the food was amazing. I have a hard time finding Mexican restuants that have all the things I like, but Dora Taqueria had it all. Got birra tacos, with street corn and chicarone with guac. Horchata was also delicious. I will return and tell everyone I know to come to this place to satisfy their cravings.“

“THIS IS IT!!! As a San Diegan I have tried everywhere in boston and enjoyed great Salvadoran, Honduran, and Puerto Rican food but have not found great Baja Mexican or even good Mexican in general that remind me of home. This is the spot. This brought tears to my eyes on homesick day. I just need them to sell carne asada in their catering section or by the pound and I’d purchase weekly. Thank you for your service 🫡 this is truly the one thing I’m missing in my life having moved to Boston.“

“We had a special occasion dinner, and our server, Gisele, was fantastic once she found out; her service from start to finish was outstanding. We will definitely be back and ask for her again. “The best fresh tortillas I've had in a long time, filled with generous portions of lengua/cabeza/al pastor (all perfectly cooked) and served with delicious salsas. You just can't beat it. I thought the meat was a little under salted but...they got salt. It's a taco, you can work this out. Will be going back as soon as I can find an excuse to to try the birria.“

Their tortillas are handmade which really differentiates them from other places.
Pro Tip: You can purchase their tortillas at Formaggio and store them in your freezer. I always have a pack around my home and use them to make quesadillas.“

“Amazing food and great service. We tried this cozy little restaurant last week and can not stop talking about how amazing the food is, especially the Chicken Nachos! Everything is made fresh, and not smothered in cheese so it is healthier but not lacking any flavor. We can’t wait to go back.“

“My husband and I went to Lone Star Taco Bar for the first time tonight. The service was quick, friendly, and efficient! Our waiter answered all our questions and took great care of me with my food allergies! I felt totally safe!! The food was packed with so much flavor and everything just melts in your mouth! The guacamole was literally the best I’ve ever had in my life and the tacos were flavorful and fresh!! We wanted to try one of everything so we will definitely be back. The ambiance is welcoming and I loved the decor. 10/10 stars!!“
“We were visiting the area to attend graduation and had brought our small dog. The restaurant accommodated our dog by allowing us to sit outside. It started to rain but the server quickly rolled down the awning and no one got wet. I'm addition to their excellent hospitality, the food was delicious. Our group tried the burger with egg, chicken and waffles, pork bahn mi and crab cakes. Fantastic experience to top off a wonderful graduation weekend!“

“Honestly a really nice place. The food was good I just didn’t think it was that special! The service was great! I do hate when a tip is automatically added but we were 4 adults and 2 kids so understandable! The guacamole was not anything special! The Mexican corn was pretty good! We had a margarita pitcher and I will say they were generous with the tequila which was great!
I would stop by again if I was in the area!“

“Salsa Mexican thx so much for the stunning food wide open sitting space and the diffrent atmosphere of friendly and helpful waiters. I truly enjoyed the milkshake with chillie its like a scorpio sting in the mouth, smooth and tasty, the next warm and mouth and throat on fire!!!! “Absolutely criminal that this place only has 3.5 stars. I went here April 3rd & April 28th before going to house of blues for a concert. Hit both times. Is it expensive? Yes, but when has sushi from a restaurant been cheap? When has eating out in a city been cheap? Value is there. I really talked this place up and when I brought my SIL there the second time we went and she agreed. Her word was “impressive”. If this place was closer to home I would have a budget problem. Nori tacos are a “can’t miss” and the avocado roll is the best I’ve ever had. Seriously good eats.“

“Very quiet place to eat on a Monday night. The food was good - not an expansive menu but enough options for everyone to find something. We waited quite a while for the check and finally walked to the register. Although the restaurant has a bar, we were not offered a drinks menu.“

“First off…. 5 stars !!! Tiny store, small menu, basically birria tacos, burritos… I got the #1, three beef birria tacos with cheese, a little diced red onion, cilantro… and the birria consume sauce. Absolutely incredible.. fresh corn tortillas, made crispy on the flat top, the cheese was gooey… the meat was tender, flavorful… just pulled apart. If you are in America…. Go here… seriously.“
