“Really good Mexican - in fact, easily the best I’ve had in Winnipeg. We had the quesabirria tacos, barbacoa tacos and flautas, and an order of chips and pico de gallo. The salsas were also excellent, with mild, medium and spicy versions. The mild was an excellent chipotle with lots of smoke and no/minimal heat. Yum! They have an extensive menu much like (better, in fact) a well stocked Mexican food truck, and service was friendly and accommodating. Muchas gracias, Carlos!“

“Ate there last night for the first time. I had the gluten free beef enchiladas (I have celiac disease) and they were delicious!! Everyone enjoyed their meals. The owner gave me a brief history of his journey in Winnipeg in providing gluten free products (although he does not have celiac disease, nor does he have allergies or gluten intolerance). He does not up charge for gf meals and doesn’t believe in penalizing those who can’t eat gluten because of a medical condition. So refreshing to hear!!!! A small, quaint family restaurant with all the Mexican vibes. Will definitely be back!“

“I just ate at your Bar-Burrito Cityplace Mall Food-Court location, and I was impressed by the freshness and overall quality of the burrito I had, (Buffalo Chicken) it was great the selection of fillings and they even had a worthy spicy hot sauce for crazy guys like me 🌶🔥🌯😋, I will most definitely recommend you to all my friends and family!“

“We always enjoy the food at QDOBA, and this visit was no exception—the food was delicious as always! One of the gentlemen working was super helpful, friendly, and went above and beyond. He even gave us a free serving of rice and beans for the kids, which was such a kind gesture and very much appreciated!
The only downside was that one of the ladies seemed to be in a rush and pushed us through the line quite quickly. It was also a little difficult to understand her, so the experience felt a bit rushed and confusing.
Overall, we had a great experience, especially thanks to the gentleman who helped us. The food was fantastic, and we’ll definitely be back!“

I was recommended this place by a friend and I had a pleasant surprise.
The hostess was nervous when I jokingly told her that I was Mexican food critic :-)
I tried the Tortilla soup, Tacos al pastor, beef fajitas and Churros. The food was rich in flavour, well cooked with traditional Mexican recipes, perfect texture and nicely presented.
The service was excellent, friendly and fast. The host is a native Spanish speaker, so she adds a bit more credibility to the place.
I had a great time here and highly recommend this place for good Mexican food with energetic atmosphere. This place is better than other Mexican restaurants I have visited in Toronto and even in Mexico.“

“Went to Taco Time in St.Vital mall today and spoke with the manager and she was extremely friendly and professional She prepared our food and the food was amazing. I’ve been going to Taco Time since I was 15 and am in my 60’s now and it never disappoints. I’ve had one meal at Taco Time in all those years that disappointed me but gave it another try and it was delicious! I wish I knew the managers name as she deserves a kudos for preparing our meals and making them with the care you’d expect in a high class establishment! Thank you to the manager and we will be back for more delicious burritos and tacos!“

“I had such a great experience at Subway thanks to Manpreet! She was super friendly, patient, and made my sandwich exactly the way I wanted it. You can tell she really cares about her customers — everything was clean, organized, and she worked with a smile the entire time.

“Years of eating here almost weekly almost always a 5 (if the Reaper sauce is gone for good maybe an alternative hot sauce like DeathRain could be explored, 2 big heaping scoops of reaper is what gave it the heat and the habanero has flavour but no heat)“

“Hark! Upon a fair eve did I venture unto Taco Time at Polo Park, where I did procure a most noble burrito. Verily, the fare was savoury and well-prepared, bringing great delight unto mine appetite.
Yet greater still was the service, for the good folk attending the establishment were courteous, swift, and most gracious in their duties. Mine order was delivered with haste and care, as though I were a lord of the realm.
Should any traveller or hungry soul seek wholesome sustenance and cheerful service, I would commend this Taco Time without hesitation. Five stars most richly deserved!
