“We have gone to Iggies many times and always were treated with such hospitality. We live in the area and know this is THE place to go. We even ended up asking if they could host our dress rehearsal dinner. Mehmet graciously worked with us and put together a wonderful event. All our guests were amazed by how good the pizza and food were. There are so many different options of pizzas and guests left so full because they wanted to try each one! We are most especially thankful for Mehmet and his whole family making us feel so welcomed.

“Had a layover in Baltimore (BWI) and Southwest departure out of A14. Tony + Benny’s was just a short walk away. They had a lot of slices, Stromboli’s, and various pastas ready.

I grabbed a couple of slices of pepperoni, while my son ordered a Pepperoni Stromboli and a small baked Ziti. All of our food was delicious.

The servers were friendly, but a bit apathetic. I’m sure I’d be the same working at an airport and at the end of the shift.

They offered a few soft drinks and bottled drinks like Gatorade, but we grabbed water to refill our bottle from the fountain nearby and a beer near our gate for me.

Tim liked the Stromboli best, and the slices were tasty. I asked for them to reheat the slices, but the server told me that the pizza just came out of the oven.

The pizza was a solid choice, and the crispy crust didn’t flop, which is a big plus for me. Even though it was pepperoni, the pizza wasn’t too oily either. Definitely recommend if you’re hungry in between flights.“

“Johnny Rad’s is a cool spot in Upper Fells Point. I first discovered it during my vegan journey and appreciated their meat alternative options. I hadn’t been back in a while, but my vegetarian daughter wanted a burger, and I remembered they had a great Impossible Burger. We ordered her the burger with fries (extra charge), and my wife and I opted for the ribeye cheesesteaks.

I placed a carryout order online, paid via Apple Pay, and declined a tip. Personally, I don’t tip for carryout unless I’m dining in, so I found it odd when I arrived and was asked to sign a receipt, even though I had already paid online. It seemed like they were hoping I’d reconsider the tip, which can feel a bit awkward.

Another thing I noticed: when the bartender gave me our food, it wasn’t in a bag. Baltimore’s bag fee aside, there was no option to add a bag when ordering online, which would have been helpful.

Unfortunately, when I got home, I realized they forgot the fries. The sandwiches came with chips, but they were stale, which is fairly common around here. I decided not to call the restaurant and just made a mental note to check my order next time.

That said, the food itself was solid. My daughter loved her burger, and my wife and I enjoyed the cheesesteaks—fresh bread, good portions, though I did find a few small bones in my sandwich (understandable with ribeye).

Overall, I’d recommend Johnny Rad’s for the quality and freshness of the food. However, I’d suggest a few improvements: double-check orders to avoid missing items, give customers a heads-up about the lack of bags, and eliminate the unnecessary receipt signing for online payments—it feels like pressure to tip. Despite these minor issues, I’ll definitely return, but I’ll be sure to check my order before leaving.“

“Absolutely fantastic pizza and downright lovely staff. Walked in just as they were closing and they still offered to make me a pizza, and even though it was so late, it's been the best pizza I've had in my entire life. Highly, HIGHLY recommend giving it a try.

“May family and I have been getting pizza there since 1969, original owner. The scale drawing of pizza ingredients on wall is original. They are still great with current owner. “Heard great things from coworkers. Read the reviews and saw pics while on the way to fed hill and decided to stop by the first time during happy hour. The crushes were perfect and the brick oven pizza did not disappoint. Food and drinks came out fast and the decor and atmosphere was very chic and vibrant. Had to try some things to go as well. Super fresh, perfectly seasoned, and loaded with delicious toppings.

My wife had vegetable soup and falafel plate. Falafel tasted authentic middle eastern.

I had veg pizza slices, tasted fresh, and cheese fries. The cheese sauce was served on the side, unusual, but fresh and perfect for dipping!“

“The is a true local gem. The bar is decorated in a 1970’s theme. They offer old timey beers like Stroh’s and Schaefer as well as inventive cocktails. “We walked in from the smell of the food, as soon as we walked in it was two servers both was talking to customers, but it seems like right off we ignored Alex J. by coming in and stopping her conversation. Alex J took our order with rudeness and first gesture our food to go, She took a tip without either asking if we wanted change back and went back to her conversation, our food came out in a great time frame. We said Thank you, have a good night, Alex J. never said nothing back. Overall How Alex acted very unprofessional, the food was great!“

“Placed an order for the first time at 4:30 PM, drove across town and got there @4:47 PM, I was acknowledged and taken care of and out by 4:50PM. Upon receiving the order, my hands nearly burnt from the fresh heat of the stone brick oven they got. The aroma of the wings and the heat from the pizza had clogged my nose while I wiped drool off my face the whole time home. Give it a shot if you a local.

Parking: The metered parking ends after a certain time turning into street parking. You have to back in at an angle on a busy street if you go during rush hour!“

Also, the service is outstanding as well. The owner took time out of his duties to check on us and that all is well. This is definitely a pizza place that I am going to be visiting often.“

“Definitely one of Baltimores best Italian cold cuts. The bread is fresh, a little chew to it but soft on the inside. Love that you can add prosciutto! Good sandwhich construction, the whole sub makes for 2 good servings.

Nice deli case, they have prepared fried eggplant and some other things. Good drink selection, Boylands, San Pelligrino, Mexican Coca-Cola (real cane sugar) and some others.

We're particular to the "slyce" personal pizza shape - it's such a great crust to pizza ratio and the dough is so flavorful. I rarely branch away from the margherita - such a good topping balance.

“The Cold Cut meats are prepacked together to just throw on the sub roll eith ordered. So that sub is not freshly made as a unique sandwich. The cashier never speak to you coming up to the counter or smiles most times I go there. The food is losing their sub roll stuffness too. Of course when the owner is there, service is much better. With all this going on, the food is still good.“
