“We took a chance to come back after not going for quite awhile. Previously we kept getting the same server and she was clearly not happy with her job. After years of being away we were very happy to see a younger group of servers that were helpful and energetic. Sadly the food was meh. We always used to go for the food and tried to ignore the service. The menu was good but it wasn't as good as usual. We went to brunch at noon so that could explain the quality of the food. Everything seemed dry. Even the sauce on the eggs Benedict was much too thick. I got Risotto and it was good but there was about a quarter cup of oil poured all over it and it became distracting to the dish. We went as a group of four and didn't order cocktails. The bill was about $70 and I find that reasonable but I just wish the food had been better overall. I loved the “new to us” bar area and perhaps we will come back to get some small plates and cocktails. Most likely we won't be back for brunch.“

“Wife and I dined outside in the pleasant ambience of a temperate evening. As always, we have found the food to be exceptional and our server, Brittany, was especially charming, informing, attentive and efficient. ** Another great evening with a charming date**.“

“My sister and I are on a road trip from Florida to Cape May NJ…. We love eating at local places that come highly recommended. The Silver Diner did not disappoint! The Farm to Table menu is amazing with something for everyone! Our server, Michael S was knowledgeable and friendly and the night supervisor, Caitlynn, was great! Friendly, welcoming atmosphere. The lemon hummus salad… to die for!!“

“OMG hands down the best Cream of Crab soup I have ever had!! the other night I was in a fish mood so I ordered the Cod w/crabcake on top with beans and rice it was so good my wife damn near ate half of it! Can't wait to go back! Robin was our server and was excellent! Love the atmosphere!“

“This is such a great find; seasonal food (best quiche ever) and lovely cocktails. Plus really good staff who seemed to care that their guests were happy. It has a lovely patio overlooking the water and lots of tree shade, plus it is super dog friendly. It was just a delightful place that felt a bit European and v good value too…definitely recommend.Kid-friendliness: Staff we super attentive to a family with young kids, was cute to see.“

“First time here and it won't be my last, especially since there's a parking garage nearby.The food is excellent and large portions. We very much enjoyed the empanadas and the chicken and waffles (the butter for them were to die for).Our server, Manda, was one of the best that I've had, always making sure dishes were cleared and drinks were filled.“

“We try to come every year, when we can get a reservation to support the Culinary Arts students at FCC. What a wonderful experience these students get to have and we get fairly incredible food. THey are learning but everything turns out awesome.“

“Our experience with Firestone's catering team was beyond perfect! The food was delicious as expected coming from Firestone's, and Mazie took care of our wedding food vision and she was a true delight to work with. The entire process which can be very stressful, went like a breeze thanks to Mazie and her remarkable calm and professionalism.We had no idea what we were doing but all our requests and concerns were answered smoothly and rapidly. On the wedding day Mazie and her team were extremely productive but somehow invisible! I can't possibly recommend Firestone's catering enough for their outstanding service and care, and you'd be lucky to have them for your own events.“

“Sofia our server did a wonderful job . The food was over the top again . Loved the black bean soup and the salad . Had the catfish again and it was great . The banana foster was the best so far. Great job again . Sorry that the season is almost over but I know the next semester will be just as good.“

“By far my favorite restaurant in Frederick. Their Exploded potato bowls are to die for. My go to is always the Flat-Iron Steak Exploded Potato bowl. (I think it's been renamed since I started ordering it.) But absolutely delicious. 10/10.“

“Nothing not to love here at all. Incredibly imaginative and diverse menu of enormous sandwiches, salads and innovative variations on baked potato toppings. What they do, they do with supreme excellence. Pricing is most fair considering the generosity of the serving sizes; definitely a place to share a plate and not to feel bad about it. The "West of Santa Fe" salad hits the sweet spot of what they are best at; Tex-Mex and California cuisine with an upscale feel. Good selection of craft beers too for happy hour or maybe an early dinner before a Frederick Keys game, as we have done many times in the past. Don't let the business park location and industrial feel fool you. Very obviously the restaurant is run by foodies. One note: sub-optimal place for a business lunch or for (say) senior citizens despite the great accessibility: its austere and thus, loud inside. One can come back here dozens of times and not be bored.“

“I like the decor. It transports me back to Saturday mornings in the 90s, I can half imagine some guy with bleached hair and shades coming in with a surfboard and saying "radical dude"I liked the French onion soup. Coconut shrimp was ok. Brocolini was fantastic.“

“If you like New York style bagels, this is the place to go! I have been longing for a spot in Frederick that serves amazing bagels, as well as coffee and this is the spot. Also has a lot of space for meeting friends and serves alcohol as well. Can’t really ask for anything more!“

“What a delight. We found Thatcher & Rye on Open Table because we were just outside Fredrick and wanted to stop for dinner. We ate outside and had a delightful experience. It was not overly noisy, except for some cars passing by blasting hip-hop out the window. The server was very knowledgeable about the menu and the wine and, only when asked, made excellent suggestions. The food was well above average and an unusual take on standard fare. We'd make a trip back just for the purpose of eating there again.“

“I've only been to JoJo's for their late moght offerings, but it is unmatched for that in the Frederick area. In particular, their chicken tenders, fried pickles, and truffle freas never disappoint. They have an often changing and always satisfying taplist of local craft brews. I come here about once a week.“

“The bartender, Jess, is amazing!!! She is able to handle a full crowd and not miss a beat. The food is always good, and the service even better. Music varies from the jukebox to karoke to bands. There are darts and pool tables to play. Prices are reasonable. I enjoy going there.Wheelchair accessibility: The entrance is level, and there is a ramp as you enter.“

“My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit. This is very much a local rural place. The atmosphere, patrons, and decor reflect that. This is not a health food place, but the food is delicious. Lots of good beers on tap, as well as a good selection of wines. We had the breaded and fried chicken livers and oysters. They were done to perfection although the breading was a bit over the top. Also had good salad and shrimp dishes. Services was excellent even though there was only one person to serve about 15 customers.“

“We stopped in on our way to Richmond. Cute place in historic Fredrick. We stopped because the sign board outside had ice cream sandwiches on it! We had hamburger and beef hot dog. Hubby said that his burger was the best! I also has a key lime pie ice cream sandwich. DELICIOUS!“

“Love this place and is right down the street from my place. Get to know quite alot a few people there! The pool table is 10.00 but is always busy. Great servers and bartenders, and they look out for you their. Make sure you get home safe, n ok. Prices are reasonable, and people you get to me are great!“

“We were there for a date night. Food was terrific and our bartender was attentive, kind, and friendly. The only snag was that there was a chewing gum on one of the barstools and the gum stuck on my dress, which I was not able to remove. Our bartender was incredibly apologetic and tried everything to help, and I really appreciated her kindness. Other than that, we had absolutely lovely time.“

“The service here is absolutely wonderful. They went above and beyond for me and my family.I tried to place an order online Saturday evening and the online system would not take my order. I called and they graciously explained that their system doesn't take orders after 7:30 pm. (At that time it didn't hit me that they closed at 8pm. My son is in the hospital and my mind was focused on that.) They took my order and had it ready in 10-15 minutes. They called at 8 and let me know that they were closing. But they graciously stayed open till I got there. The staff there were great and so was the manager.The food was delicious. It really perked up my wife, mother-in-law, and myself while staying with my son at the hospital. I highly recommend this restaurant and will be returning often.“

“We had a great time at this restaurant! There unfortunately was a big fire downtown when we went here but nonetheless they made sure we still got our food mid blackout and we’re still going ok! We loved the bartender she was so fun and nice! Will be back for sure!“

“Love the vibes here. Very chill and laid back. They also play great music. Clean, well-lit environment and the staff are all very friendly. The food is good too. My friend and I had the calamari appetizer, and the steak & cheese + chicken tacos entrees. Both were good, I plan to come back with a larger group next time. Huge bonus is that they’re open late. We arrived after 9pm, closer to 10 and were served our meals which were both great. The waiter (who was so kind and attentive) told us that they do brunch some days with bottomless mimosas. Can’t wait to come back for that.“
