“I am an Uber driver in PA but I ended up with a trip to Hagerstown. So I went online to order a sub in a bowl. But since I was cutting it close to closing time, I called to let the store know I would be there to pick up my food. When I picked up my rider she said she had to add a stop which pushed me really close to 9 pm. So I called again to let the store know. The same gentleman answered both times and was super nice & understanding. When I got there right at 9 they were locking the doors. But someone said hold the door for Bradley he is picking up. Everyone working were nice & my food was brought right to me.

I wish I would've gotten names but I really appreciated the awesome service and will never hesitate to stop here as often as I can! Great job everyone tonight....March 25, 2026! Well done! Keep up the great work!“

“George was a exemplary employe. Polite friendly detailed and meticulous while making my order. He was very tidy attention to detail and hygiene conscious while making the multiple sandwiches. Closing lids, covering orders while turning his attention to the customer in the front of the line. Just an amazing experience and the best subway employe I have ever come across. George was beyond in every good way possible.“

“Verna's Sub Shop has an extensive menu! The Fried Oyster Sandwich is delicious and has a nice portion of oysters! The Baked Ham Sandwich on a Homemade Roll is jam-packed with soft, moist ham and you can choose your cheese and toppings. It's now one of my favorite sandwiches ever. It's a good thing Verna's isn't open every day. My kitchen would miss me. The people at Verna's are very accommodating and clearly take pride in what they do. I wholeheartedly recommend! 5 Stars!“
