“Everything at Menya is completely mind-blowing and it's the best ramen I've had outside of Japan. It's a little hard to visit here especially with their hours but every time I can make the trip over to DC I always make an effort to come here. Their food stays consistent and service is incredible. It's amazing to watch how in synch the entire team is and they have an open kitchen where you can watch the staff make the endless bowls of ramen! The karaage is a MUST-TRY it's so incredibly crispy on the outside but perfectly juicy on the inside. It's also paired with a yuzu dipping sauce and it brings the chicken to a whole other level, 10/10. My favorite ramen is the Spicy Tonkotsu because it includes a house made chili spice that really brings a nice kick to their traditional Tonkotsu broth. You really can't go wrong with anything on their menu because each type of ramen is so incredible in its depth of flavor.“

“My husband and I went here and were seated right away. The service was excellent the entire visit. We wanted to try as many things as possible so we ordered from their pre fixed menu option. Our table was pretty small So the table got really crowded fast! Food was pretty good, the fried fish was surprisingly my favorite. Meal ended with a dessert too. Nice touch. We will definitely be going back and requesting a booth instead of the table because we rarely order one or two items.“

“We came in for lunch yesterday. Served was super helpful with recommendations! The rainbow soup dumplings was 2 of each of their soup dumplings which were all amazing! We also loved the cucumber in garlic sauce. My friend loved the Chongqing noodles! They are a nice vegetarian option with a tasty sauce served with boiled peanuts and a fried egg. We also had the spicy oil wontons. They were very good although I did end up dabbing some of the oil off. Looking forward to coming back and trying other things!!“

“Nothing much to say except this is the best Pho place you can find around here! I visit this place frequently. Also, bring cash! The broth is top-notch, rich and tasty with the right aroma. Generous portion. Even the small bowl has a lot of noodles and meat. You can a la carte what meat you want, that’s an authentic experience. Or you can order from their pre-selected menu. All amazing, just order the cut you want. Extra for onion with vinegar, but it’s super good.My only complaint is that the pho noodle itself could be better. A bit too chewy for my taste and not fresh. The servers is always quick and precise with your order. No complaint at all.Vegetarian options: Almost no offeringParking: Plenty of parking within the lot. Share with other restaurants.Kid-friendliness: Big party with kids can be accommodated.“

“I am sure Korean food is the best when tasted in Korea. That's why I'm not a big fan of Korean restaurants abroad. However this one, Rice Bar in DC satisfied me for real. 다만 제 느낌에 1회용 숫가락이 좀더 크면 좋겠고 젓가락에 일본어 적힌 점이 아쉽.. 그래도 또 들리고 싶네요.“

“Fantastic sushi tucked away in an unassuming strip mall. I’ve been a couple times because there are so many appealing sushi rolls and they have all been fantastic. The fish is fresh, the proportions are good. I’d avoid the cocktails, they are underwhelming. They can be slow when busy but that should be expected when sushi is being made to order.“

“Discovered this gem while searching for pho, and I'm amazed I hadn't noticed it before. The pho was fresh and flavorful, especially enjoyed the veggie option. The ambiance was relaxed, with enjoyable background music. It's clearly popular, as several guests arrived shortly after me. While I didn't have a drink, it appears they offer a selection of beer and wine only. The spacious layout makes it ideal for groups.“

“In Maryland, this place is as good as it gets for Korean Chinese food. You can’t compare it to best Korean Chinese food restaurants in Korea because it’s just not a fair comparison but what they do well here, they know how to do like the spicy noodle (짬뽕) and fried chicken (깐풍기). Their jjampong soup is delicious, with the right amount of spice and seafood flavor in it to give you that kick but also a taste of the ocean. Their fried chicken is most unique kkanpoongi I have ever had as it’s in like a lollipop shape like they advertise and the crispy, crunch, juiciness of the chicken is phenomenal. I would venture to say that’s their best and signature dish. The black bean noodle (짜장면) is average as the sauce is not rich enough. The noodles are handmade which is a nice touch as well and you can see the noodle chef working behind the tinted glass. Overall ambience has really improved after they remodeled and servers are friendly and attentive. It’s just a proper well run neighborhood restaurant and nobody comes close to this in Maryland.“

“Mouthwatering food Healthy portions Repeat-eligible Surprisingly delicious seafood for such a landlocked nationality. Nice decor, great flavors, adequate pricing, and quaint location. The Uyghur salad was so good, I had it for an appetizer and then again for dessert. My whole family was thrilled from start to finish with every dish we ordered. The restrooms could use some TLC, but everything else was top notch.“

“Easy five stars. There is so much passion in this little place. It feels like a home cooked meal. Pretty much is. The owner is so kind and welcoming. It's a glimpse of what I wish more businesses were like, with charm, quality, and love of the craft of tea making and food. It's a cute little place with lots of personality. I can see this place becoming very popular.“

“Absolutely delicious!!!! You will miss this gem if you don't look carefully...you go in through the back...when we walked eyes were on us because it was all Asian customers and they thought we were door dash ! We told them we would like to be seated, they said sit anywhere. We saw some amazing meals coming out the kitchen that I asked the server what somebody else had and that's what I ordered without disappointment!!! Deliciousness is all I can describe it as!!! The wife ordered Singapore noodles which she loved...this is one of the best Asian food spot I've had since coming to md! Give it a try and remember I told you so!!“

“Great food here. I've had the beef and chicken burgers, the knife-cut noodles with tofu, and the eggplant, potato and pepper noodles. Everything is delicious. It's a very no-frills environment inside, so don't expect anything fancy, but the food is excellent. Do be prepared to be tasting garlic all day after your meal.“

“Just came here for lunch with a coworker and the place was completely empty. I think part of it was because we did come a little early (11:40am-ish), but left at 12:30pm and still no other people ate inside. There were people picking up orders or door-dash deliveries, etc. In any case, we sat down and the service was very fast and courteous. I ordered the Pad See Ewe and it arrived promptly (and super hot too!). The portions were decent and our water was filled once. It was super quiet, so not sure how the vibe is on a Friday or Saturday night. When we paid, the waitress (who I think may have been the owner?) arrived with a ipad where we simply tapped our credit cards and put in a tip. NGL, I like to tip in cash, so I preemptively took out my cash to show the waitress I was not going to forget tipping her, all the while I tapped "no tip" - even though I did tip her! Haha. Overall, a great lunch spot and I will definitely come back here. My only thing I would comment is that there are not a lot of parking spots in front of the restaurant.“

“I came here because my first choice was not available. To my surprise I had the meal of my life. All the dishes are meticulously prepared with nutrition, taste and presentation in mind. “Really neat, cozy spot for homestyle Japanese food + interesting wine and a large sake menu. We enjoyed sitting at the bar upstairs, and particularly loved the special black cod with miso, the snap peas, and the fried rice. Everything was made with care and presented in an elegant yet approachable fashion. Looking forward to returning the next time I am in DC.Vegetarian options: There is a section of the menu devoted to vegetable dishes, as well as tofu, vegetable tempura, and vegetarian fried rice or noodles.“

“I got the tonkatsu ramen. The broth was rich. The slices of pork were fresh, juicy, tender, slightly sweet, and abundant. There were at least 6 slices in that bowl. The assortment of vegetables and narutomaki added unique, delicious tastes and textures to the dish. Their food presentation is perfect. You'd have to see it to believe it. The ramen actually looks like it's straight out of those food commercials and restaurant food posters. All in all, it's a great place to eat.“

“Fantastic food. Like, subscribe, and smash that delivery button. So delicious. Order the drunken noods. You won't regret it. Now, this...**_Soliloquy of the Drunken Thai Noodles_***(The stage is dimly lit. A single spotlight illuminates a steaming bowl of noodles center stage.)***Noodle**: *(in a slurred, noodle-like voice)*Oh, woe is me! A tangled mess of rice and spice, swimming in the murky broth of my own existence. I, the humble Thai noodle, once firm and resolute, now sway like a drunken sailor on choppy seas.**Broth**: *(gurgling)*Noodle, why dost thou lament? Is it the fiery chili that burns thy delicate strands? Or perhaps the fragrant lemongrass that whispers secrets of distant lands?**Noodle**: *(swirling in the broth)*Nay, 'tis not the spices that trouble my starched soul. It is the fate that binds me to this ceramic vessel—a vessel that cradles the sorrows of countless hungry souls. I am but a fleeting pleasure, a fleeting slurp, lost in the labyrinth of taste buds.**Bean Sprouts**: *(poking their heads above the surface)*Hark! The noodle speaks truth. We, too, are but ephemeral beings, born from the soil, sprouting forth to dance upon this savory stage. Our crunch, our freshness—it matters not. We, too, shall drown in the broth of oblivion.**Basil Leaves**: *(rustling)*Yet, dear noodle, dost thou not see? Our destiny lies not in the depths of this bowl, but in the hearts of those who consume us. For with each chopstick wielded, with each slurp, we become memories—fragments of flavor etched into their souls.**Noodle**: *(twirling)*Ah, sweet basil, your wisdom transcends the steam rising from this cauldron. But tell me, when the last chopstick descends, when the final drop of broth is drained, what then? Shall we be forgotten, lost in the haze of drunken revelry?**Broth**: *(bubbling)*Fear not, my noodle friend. For even as the bowl empties, our essence lingers—a hint of lemongrass on parted lips, a memory of warmth on a cold winter's night. We are sustenance and sentiment, nourishing both body and soul.**Noodle**: *(swaying)*Then let us embrace our fate, fellow ingredients! Let us revel in the slurps, the stumbles, the laughter that accompanies our descent. For we are more than mere sustenance; we are poetry in a porcelain bowl, a symphony of flavors that echoes through time.*(The spotlight fades, leaving only the aroma of Thai spices lingering in the air.)*“

“My wife and often escape our condo office for their tasty and inexpensive lunch. We also get delivered food from them. No delivery charge, but we tip the driver well. We love their eggplant dishes, meaty spare ribs, duck and so far almost everything on their extensive menu.“
“Yum!! This place replaced bobbys burger, but if you didn't look closely enough you'd miss it since they didnt change the signs! We ordered sweet and sour pork, a vegetable dish, and pork soup dumplings. The dumplings were so so soupy, while the pork dish and vegetables balanced each other so well. I think i'd go here whenever I'm craving chinese food in the area, and let me tell you, all the other customers around us were asian as well haha.“

“I REALLY liked The Dark Side coffee when I came in before, but it isn't on the menu anymore.. ordered a Dark Vietnamese coffee because the picture was the same but what I got was definitely not the same drink, it was less rich and kind of watered down compared to the earlier one ;-; can't really tell if it was just a one-off mistake or if the menu item actually changed. everything else I've eaten there was lovely but that drink was what I really went back for!“

“Had a late evening and decided to get carry out; ordered online and the food was made quickly and ready when we arrived. The workers were so kind and double checked our food to make sure we had everything before we left, (without even being asked to!). The portions were large and my Dad claims 'that was the best orange chicken I've ever had.' Would highly recommend and would eat here again!“

“This should not be take out or delivery. They use cheap containers that have to be kept straight 90 degrees any tilts will make your pho spill. Best eat at the restaurant for optimal experience. With the carryout container spilling due to tilting was a messy affair.“
