“My daughter and I stopped in here for dinner after spending some time in Leonardtown for First Fridays. It smelled wonderful when we walked in, and we were greeted and seated right away. We were both impressed with the wide array of menu options. I had a chicken and cucumber salad, which was low carb, but very tasty and filling. My daughter had an enchilada that she really enjoyed. They serve complimentary chips and salsa, too. Best of all were the very reasonable prices. We'd definitely go again and try some different entrées. It would be a great place for large families or groups. They have the seating, and affordable menu items to make it pleasant; and not break the bank.Parking: Front of restaurant. Many available spaces.“
“My mom, sister, and I love the crab cakes! Lots of lump crab in it! Stuff on the menu change quite a bit. Don't be surprised if you choose something but they don't have it (tater tots, onion rings). I was told they have a big selection of beer. But they don't have Maertzen, Loose Cannon, Sam Adams (except Octoberfest), or Ying Ling Flight. Finally she said "Well, we offer simple beers". Lol. But, we will come back for the crabcakes. And the view of the river. Prices are fair for today's economy, so it doesn't make me cringe.“
“As a long time regular at Fitzie's I have watched this gorgeous waterfront destination grow gracefully from a smallish restaurant and pub to a complex with a hopping Tiki bar, formal dining room, large, friendly pub and bar, gas dock, and children's play area. The first class food, service, and stunning view have been constant through the years, adding something new and special each season. The staff works hard to make you feel welcome and the proprietor and all of his family who work there make you feel like their personal guest. The only problem is that eventually you have to leave.Kid-friendliness: A couple of simple arcade type amusements inside, a huge sand pile with toys outside, and high chairs sends a clear message that the whole family is most welcome.“
“Was really just out doing some bar hopping and decided to eat at the Rivah. Crab legs. Hush puppies, corn fritters all were great. The homemade huneybutter is to die for. Had to bring some home , loved it.Service was outstanding, most definitely will be back.“
