“We celebrated my daughter's 21st birthday at Sotto Sopra last night and had the best experience! we were met by name at the door! Given prosecco when we arrived at our table! Had a delicious 3 course meal. And then dessert with sparkler! The atmosphere was amazing - beautiful decor, clean, perfect acoustics so you could hear and talk, but also wonderful selection of music playing in the background. And our waiter was just amazing and so attentive and friendly! Perfect restaurant for your special occasion! I cant wait to go back! Thank you for making our daughter's birthday so special!“

The watercress salad was crispy and refreshing- def try it! Short rib pasta hit the spot. Focaccia is well worth ordering. Delicious blackberry bramble mocktail and Sangiovese wine. “Marta manages to be both lively and cozy simultaneously in a rowhouse that previously housed Salt (one of my all time favorite upscale restaurants) We went for a friend's birthday, and all 3 courses were delicious, beautifully presented, inventive, and not the same old menu that you find everywhere. Very sweet wait staff was super attentive, educated about the food and wine and made great suggestions. Our original wait staff had an emergency and had to leave in the middle of service, but seamlessly another wait person stepped in to covered us. Kudos to the front of house team for handling with such skill and ease. But the food was definitely the star of the show. For me, the standout was the tuna cannoli. I'm not even sure I can do justice to this deliciousness with a crunchy outer "cannoli" shell with a slight hint of sweet surrounding a creamy center of tuna crudi with little dots of avocado cream. And all was covered with a pistachio "dust." The spicy meatballs were delectable nestled in a cloud of creamy spicy ricotta. And the Duck and Foie Gras Panzotti (little triangle ravioli) was creamy, delicious and the perfect combination of delicate tastes. And the Tiramisu Affogato ended the dinner on a delicious note! And for two people with drinks it was really pretty a good deal for the quality if the food, service and location. We will be back! Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5“

“We have been trying restaurants in Baltimore since our daughter started med school last Fall. La Tavola will definitely be one of our favorites for the next 4 years! Ambiance is excellent - so adorable inside! The bruschetta was outstanding, and all 3 pastas we tried were delicious! Wine, martini, and a mocktail were all terrific! Cannot wait to return!“

“My husband and I were looking for a good meal slightly out of the chaos of Fells Point and stumbled upon this most delicious Italian restaurant. Chef John recommended the Rigatoni alla Vodka with shrimp and it was everything. My husband always particular about seafood felt the shrimp was cooked to perfection. We also had the Buratta as an App and took a Tiramisu to go and enjoy later. We could not have asked for a more enjoyable meal with excellent service. We will be back. If you are looking for an excellent meal in a beautiful environment I recommend it.“

“I have been to this location numerous times in my life. Always a generally good experience. Although, there are times where the waiter/waitress tends to take a long time to return to check on you for refills on drinks or anything else. There have been a few times where they forget the breadsticks or never bring them out. But overall, it’s a good time and I love Olive Garden food even if it may not be real authentic Italian. It’s good food here. The atmosphere is good top, with subtle Italian music in the background. Would recommend this spot.“

We were actually greeted by the owner and he and his staff were so pleasant and helpful. 50 orders in the first 20 mins of them opening and let me tell you they are FAST! Now onto the food the pizza was hands down some of the best I have ever had, the pinwheels were phenomenal and definitely something you have to try at least once, and the subs are the best I have had in a very long time. “My family and I stopped in Mario's to grab a bite to eat after watching a movie at the Senator Theater across the street from it and believe me when I say that the pizza is outstandingly delicious ???. Also, the service is outstanding as well. The owner took time out of his duties to check on us and that all is well. This is definitely a pizza place that I am going to be visiting often.“
