“My family and I visited the Akira Ramen and Izakaya Restaurant in Bel Air, Maryland yesterday afternoon. The occasion was in celebration of our daughter’s 34th birthday. When we entered the establishment, we were greeted and quickly seated. Our waiter provided us boosters seats for my two granddaughters; menus; two large carafe’s of ice water; napkins and plates. We were very impressed with the large selection of appetizers, sushi platters, drinks and desserts. The food was simply DELICIOUS !! Not even a morsel remained on our plates. I highly recommend Akira Ramen and Izakaya of Restaurant of Bel Air, Maryland. This will be our go to place for Japanese foods. The staff is very polite; large menu selection; reasonably priced; and the food is delicious. 🤗🥰“

“My first dining visit since it’s opening a year ago. The Classic Margarita had a pretty presentation and was oh so good! I really liked the warm tasty chips with salsa and shortly afterwards came the sizzling steak fajita. Flavorful and delicious. I finished the meal with dessert of tasty Churros served prettily with ice cream topped with whipped cream and a cherry on top. My server Alonso was attentive, professional, and polite. Prices are affordable, and you can get some of their wine and food to take home if available in their store next door. “I love the vibe here. This restaurant is set to be like a ski lodge. Some tables have ski lift seats! It is a large venue that is broken into sections, making it feel small and intimate. The food is amazing and the main reason to try this place. My favorites include the burgers, mozzarella balls, and the crab? Corn chowder. When you do, I know that you will return. The servers are great as well.“

“Their food is good. They still get my recommendation as a whole. Service is typically good. But when I’m waiting for three minutes while it’s not busy for one cashier to finish a phone call it’s not exactly a good idea to take a customer that just walked in before me, being second cashier. It’s just me and one other customer..and I was here first. I’m sure it is one of his first jobs, I’ve worked in food, it’s not easy. This is common sense though. But you can’t do that and expect me to return to that location. I guess the original Perry Hall location will be my only stop moving forward, never had an issue there. Just far out of my way, so less $ from one customer moving forward.“

“If you are interested in getting something healthier and quick, this could be your place. They have seating or you can get it to go or even order online. You can make your own salad or you can put it in a wrap or you can get soup and a salad or I believe even a panini. You just go along a line and either pick from a premade type salad, or you can create your own. You get so many toppings for a set price. You can get others extra. There are different kinds of lettuces and many different vegetables to put on top. You have many cheeses to pick from and chicken or tofu or all sorts of meats. I think there are about 10 different kinds of salad dressings as well, and they have a nice roll you can get. The dressing can be on the side or mixed in. The restroom is clean and nice and there is plenty of free parking! Lots of stores in that same Shopping Center. There are others across the street. So you can always stop in while you are out shopping!“

Several of his employees have also been there for as long as we’ve been going. Is probably best to order in-person vice phone as place is often busy….which can result in misunderstandings or incorrect orders.“

Good portions, always give a lot of rice which I enjoy because I like leftovers, their garlic naan is very good it’s fragrant and actually pretty loaded up with garlic. If you’re into Indian food, or even if you haven’t tried it, give it a shot. Get a chicken tikka masala and garlic naan and you really can’t go wrong. Vindaloo is also good“

My only gripe is the carrots and celery that are served with these wings are abysmal, And you have to pay extra for them, If you want really good carrots and celery, and massive wings, go to Looney's! and they're included with the wings.“

Unfortunately our app of Mozzarella Kabobs was quite small. Two skewers with 8 quarter size pieces for $12 was very over priced. Suggestion either increase the quantity of the app or please lower the price. Definitely will not order that again.“
