“This may be the weirdest review ever but here goes. I have never actually eaten here but was stationed at Aberdeen PG in 1970-71. Really enjoyed Maryland for the most part and growing up in Mississippi I was exposed to several dishes that we had never heard of at the time in the Deep South. Submarine sandwiches believe it or not were one. We had Po Boys which were similar but not exactly the same thing. Also grew to love fried clams which no one here at the time ever ate. Of course we had oysters from the gulf and plenty of blue crab but the steamed crab Maryland style was superior to our boiled crab. By the way Marylanders, many of the crabs y'all are now eating come from the gulf not Chesapeake Bay. A friend of mine who is a crabber on Lake Pontchartrain sells all of his #1 crabs for export to Maryland as he makes twice as much than selling the locally . Anyway, I do wish I could make another trip to the area and see what is new the last 50 years. From the looks on yelp, a lot. I am a foodie though and have learned to read between the lines on Yelp reviews and based on that, I would definitely give this place a try. It looks great and I feel sure it is. Bon appetite!“

“Great service and atmosphere. Visiting family in the area. Not a locals only type of place and our barkeeps, Luke and Andy did a great job making sure that we felt like part of the gang while we were there. Great selection of beers and whiskeys, too! Our food was really good - wish they had soda bread to go with their delicious stew and Mac & cheese. (I rounded up to a 5 on this one because the service was above and beyond).“

“This is a great neighborhood bar with very friendly staff and owners. The food is delicious and made fresh each day. I have had an amazing Indian dish, wings, my favorite chicken bacon ranch wrap and so much more. There is also trivia on Thursday, karaoke on Friday, open pool table and jukebox on Saturday.I highly recommend coming in and eating some good food, meeting some great people, and having a wonderful time.“

“I learned Wednesday night is Karokee night. While the place was very loud, service was good and food was a bit better than typical sports type bar. I like the family feel and even on Karokee night families were there and some of the braver kids even sang.“

An amazing dipping sauce was served with same.Perfect !!!!Boneless Wings also served HOT. Crispy KFC type of batter. Juicy inside. GOOD LORD.The hot fries were served boardwalk style. My personal favorite.I will be back.Kudos to the CHEF.NOBODY PUTS ND's IN THE CORNER.“

“I dine here frequently, because the place has great food and service. Even when the place is busy, food always comes out in a timely manner. I just read some other reviews regarding quality of food, and pricing. As far as pricing, while some menu items have gone up over the past couple of years, I still find their portion to price ratio to be good. If you’re going to complain about prices going up, I guess you don’t do the grocery shopping in your house. Don’t expect a business to maintain prices from 4/5 years ago. Everything is more expensive today. If you find it too expensive for your liking, stay home and cook your own meal. Food quality: I’ve never had a disappointing meal here, and have tried just about everything on the menu.“

“I think this is the best sushi spot in Bel Air 2024, now that I have gone to all of them. FOOD In appetizers, I tried the takoyaki, edamame, karaage, and ground chicken lettuce wrap things. They were all decent but nothing stood out nearly as well as the dinosaur eggs (which are not eggs, but a sushi thing), and so I strongly recommend those. Nice to see something unique and tasty! In terms of the other food, my friend gets various rolls and everything I have tried has been tasty. But I'm a big sashimi fan, especially as I can tell the quality of the fish after I've had it. And this is pretty good quality! That quality is a part of what sets this place apart from the other sushi spots in Bel Aid. SERVICE I've had the same woman serve us every time I went by coincidence, but she's always been very polite and well attentive without being pushy. Really liked her. AMBIANCE It's a casual and family friendly spot but also good for dates. There are booths that are decently well separated from other people so you do feel like you can get some hint of privacy here. Lighting and music were pleasant.“

“My friends and I visited here for St. Patrick’s day and we had a great time! Charged a cover but the prices on drinks were the same as always, affordable and delicious! We’ve been here before and their service and food has always been consistently great. The fried pickles are one of the best I’ve ever had! All of the food was delicious!“

“Fun place, bottomless mimosas were delicious and the service was great. Enjoyed the live music! We went for Sunday brunch in the winter but this would be a great spot in the summer with the water view and huge outdoor space.Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu“

“I've been going to the Silver Spring Mining Company for years (since it was the Silver Spring Inn!) The food is excellent, including my favorite Sour Beef and Dumplings. This time I and a friend went to the Bel Air location. While the food was good, the service was less so. Even though the restaurant was only moderately busy, we felt rushed by the server. Even upon arrival, we felt less welcomed than I had expected. Maybe it was just an "off" night for the staff. Nonetheless, if you like good regional food, you'll like Silver Spring.“
