“This beat some of the NY style slices I had even in New York. Just the perfect ratio of crust to sauce to toppings. Perfectly sized pepperoni cups. A gorgeous toasty feeling to the freshly heated slice. Started with 3 slices between 2 people and essentially ended up eating a whole pie. Staff are amazing, so warm and friendly. “The cocktails are on point. I had a Mezcal JungleBird and a Firing Squad. Both were delicious. My friends also liked their drinks. The bartenders were fun and entertaining. The one guy has a propeller on his vat - he is hilarious.

We had lamb kebabs, hummus, and charcuterie. The lamb was so tender and tasty - a little bit spicy with a hint of mint. I think that the hummus had beets in the recipe - delicious. They gave us so much hummus that we could have used more pita but we didn’t ask. The bresaola on the charcuterie plate was out of this world. I heard that they make a pretty solid burger but we already had dinner and we were just snacking with late night drinks.

Classy place. Framed prints of Alphonse Mucha’s work behind the bar - there is an Art Nouveau feel. Nice looking room.

Pretty great place - one of the best places in DC IMO. I really hope that it doesn’t get ruined by stupid drunks roaming around Dupont Circle.

When I had my bowl it was just like I ordered but when I saw the dismay of my fiancés face something appeared to be wrong. I looked at the wrap it appeared to be prepared sloppy , falling apart and runny from juices of the ingredients. He said he didn’t want it and I returned to the place to try to get a refund. To make the story short the manger of the store wasn’t of any help but staff did suggest me getting another sandwich. I reluctantly agreed despite my fiancé not wanting a sandwich because of presentation. The person who made my sandwich spoke in her native tounge with another staff and was nonchalant about the situation but Christain was eager to make things right.“
