“The food is very tasty. Although, the meal portions came out at very different times. We cooked and finished the chicken and scallops at our table. Way after we were done, the kimchi rice came out. It will make good leftovers, but we definitely would have preferred it during the rest of the meal.“

“I used uber eats so can't speak to service but flavor was a GO! I got the spicy pork banh mi which came loaded with pork and a nice balance of fresh toppings to offset the spice and YES! There was spice!! The bread was a bit hard on the outside (think french bread presentation without french bread flavor or chew) and i requested extra mayo which must've been missed in the notes. Still satisfying.“

“Didn’t particularly feel up to eating in, so I ordered the spicy miso togo. Was sent texts giving me updates on the order. At pickup, I was surprised to see a quaint downstairs restaurant that made the most of a smaller space. Clean, seating for waiting on takeout if needed. My order was ready to go packaged nicely and the soup separated to keep the noodles from getting soggy. Upon eating I was pleased with the order. Great taste and quality. The 6 spicy level wasn’t all that bad. A nice bite but I may go higher next time. All in all I really enjoyed it and will be back!!“

As a Korean-American who is picky about her food, this place is amazing. Will continue to support!I always get take-out as there is no room to dine-in.Looks like it is a family operation - they are always friendly and kind.Parking: Mana Dosirak has a free public parking lot. I believe it is shared with one or two other stores. I’ve never had an issue finding parking. It also seems like it would be easy to find street parking.“

French fries were good. Their soy garlic wings are also good. I just wish that it came with blue cheese instead of having to pay a dollar. I’m already paying $16 for 10 wings!! “Update: My husband wanted to give this place a second chance for his birthday and our experience this time was much better. Their brunch menu has had some changes since our last visit and now feels much more like brunch offerings than lunch/dinner. We made sure to go right when they opened this time - the milk bread french toast quest was a success and it did not disappoint!First visit: Went for brunch on Sunday. I called as soon as they opened and person on the phone recommended for walk ins to come after 11:30. We were able to get a table without issue, which was fortunate. I think we were seated around 12:05 or 12:15. By the time the server took our order it was 12:30. I came specifically for the milk bread french toast and they were out. Brunch goes until 1:30, so I'm not sure if french toast is only available on Saturday or only available during the first hour of brunch service. It is the only sweet or pastry type option they have. All but two of their brunch offerings feel much heavier and more lunch/dinner entrees than brunch. So much so that it took us a few minutes upon being seated to realize what we were given was in fact the brunch menu and not the dinner menu.I opted for the porridge. The rice and meat were delicious but the potatoes and carrots were undercooked and still quite raw in the center. I'm not sure if that's the intention of the dish, but I was expecting comforting softened vegetables with the gentle porridge. My husband loved the spicy chicken sandwich and the loaded tater tots. I really wanted to try the french toast but I don't feel inclined to return not knowing if it's possible to get the dish.“

“This place is AWESOME!!! The atmosphere is crazy with neon lights and black walls. You can do all you can eat KBBQ or ramen; I got the KBBQ. To be honest, I am not a big fan of cooking the food myself, and it didn’t help that they didn’t provide any oil, so food stuck to the hot plate. I recommend the brisket, any chicken, and the shrimp. I did not prefer the ground beef of the Hawaiian Bulgogi, but the flavor was definitely there. Fried rice, glass noodles, and egg rolls are available to take at any time. The food is good but not very special. I would like to come back to try the ramen, but I give MeatUp 4 Stars for now!“

“"Chi Ko, nestled in the bustling heart of Capitol Hill DC, presents an extraordinary culinary journey where Chinese and Korean cuisines harmoniously meld. Each dish we sampled was a testament to the chef's prowess in fusion cooking, beginning with the Duck Fried Rice. This dish was a delightful symphony of flavors, perfectly cooked rice intermingling with succulent duck pieces, offering a satisfying texture and rich taste. The Orange Chicken was another standout, transcending the usual fare with its tangy and sweet glaze, which enhanced rather than overpowered the tender chicken. It was a fresh take on a classic, elevating it with a sophisticated balance of flavors.Equally impressive was the Lamb Stir Fry. The lamb was cooked to perfection - tender, juicy, and infused with a blend of spices that paid homage to both Chinese and Korean culinary traditions. This dish was a vibrant mix of tastes and textures, leaving an unforgettable impression. The Kimchi, a Korean staple, was exquisitely prepared. Its perfect blend of spice and fermentation added a delightful kick to the meal, showcasing the authenticity of their Korean dishes. Finally, the Smashed Salmon was a revelation. The salmon was flawlessly cooked, flaky and moist mixed with veggies. It was an innovative dish that encapsulated the essence of Chi Ko's fusion concept.“

I wish it was as thick as the image on the website and I wish maybe it could be made with a less thick piece of seaweed, but I did love all the flavors. If you were to get a Korrito, I’d say just add all the toppings you want. I won’t make any recommendations because I think it can be good any way. I also had the Kale Apple Juice, which was very interesting but the weird combo was not for me. This review might sound a little pessimistic, but Seoulspice was really good. We were excited to find an El Salvadoran place inside. We're big pupusa fans and try them everywhere we go! We ordered 4 Revueltas (meat, black beans, and cheese). They were excellent! Made to order so they were very fresh, there was not more breading than filling (which is a common complaint I've found). The sauce complimented the pupusas well and we enjoyed every bite! 5 STAR PUPUSAS- just think it's important to note there weren't many options to shop from.“
