“Absolutely delicious, rolls hot and sweet, steak cooked just how I like it, and good appetizers. However are server basically forgot about me and my family. I like to drink while I eat and really need some water. It took 15 minutes untill I got some. Not to mention that we asked for 4 waters when we ordered are drinks earlier so that we wouldn’t bother them later for drinks, but never got them.“

“The Customer service was out of this world. I think she must have been the manager. This lady was on point. Now the food was absolutely great as usual. The sweet potato desert. Was FABULOUS. It was my friends 1st time. She enjoyed everything. ?????????? Keep up the great work. The ribs fell of the bone. “

“Being from Texas, I had to try this place while in the Washington/Baltimore area. The Prime brisket was some of the best I've had outside of Texas. Nice and tender and flavorful. Same for ribs. The spicy cheddar sausage was ok, with large chucks of cheese in it. I also tried the brisket tamales that I did not care for. Didn't seem to be much brisket in them. Stick to having the brisket by itself. The brisket beans and potato salad were good, and serving was large. One thing I didn't like was that I was forced to buy a minimum of a half pound of the meats. Being by myself on business, it turned out to be a pricey lunch. Most bbq places I go to, you can get a few slices of brisket or one rib, and they'll weigh it and charge the corresponding price. They had a video running that showed different bbq places from all over the country, many from Texas I recognized, that was very interesting. Overall, however, the food was great, and I will be back. They also have a Waygu brisket that I did not try. Maybe next time.“

“Awesome service and tender brisket. We were greeted by a cheerful server who helped us put tables together, got us high chairs and set up the kids with coloring pages. I liked all the sauce options available for us to try. Our fries were fresh and delicious. We really enjoyed our experience.“

“This is my favorite breakfast spot I've ever been to and I've been eating. A long time .. I've even gotten non breakfast food at the same time and was highly impressed. Their smoked meats are amazing and the whiskey tango foxtrot wrap changed my life with the habenero “

“The following were super yummy: 1. Brisket 2. Rib tips 3. Smoked turkey 4. BBQ sauce I’m not used to sweet collard greens. They were not bad, just not used to them. I ate them all. May not order again, but doesn’t mean I would comeback not again… maybe to try the other sides. Pickles had a sweetness to them. Not bad, but don’t look to me given I’ve never been a fan of sweetish pickles regardless of where they come from. The brisket made me happy. I would love to try the Turkey in a sandwich. The ribs tips were perfection. I purposefully saved my extra sauce because it is that yummy.“

“4.5 stars!Everything is wonderful about this spot. Just found the ribs a little tough and the menu to be a little too small. This is bbq food with a Mexican twist, the steak is cooked perfectly and I definitely recommend getting it. Price is super fair and portion sizes are generous.“

“Food was amazing and staff was super patient with me picking out what to order. Grabbed a big sampler platter and it was more than enough for two people for an incredible price. Food was fast, hot, and the best BBQ I've had in a one hour + radius.Little rough walking across the highway from the hotel to grab it, but super worth it.“

“I’ve been fortunate enough to visit here pre 2020 when they captured my heart and I have definitely been a few times afterwards. Overall I’ve had more great experiences than not, but it’s important to highlight two people that handled things when I didn’t have the best experience.Maggie & Mike were especially considerate and transparent when the service wasn’t quite up to par. My waiter (who was newish) left us on an island a few times and I was honest with Mike and told him that HE actually set the bar for this place. Mike understood and said he’d be sure to speak with him, but he also made sure to provide more oversight on top of his own workload. It’s little things like that that actually aren’t little at all and for that reason I’ll for sure keep going. This was 2 years ago (yeah I know), but I won’t forget it. When I first visited Due South Mike was my waiter and he did such an amazing job. Personable, fast paced, solution oriented when necessary, and attentive; everything you’d like from a restaurant staff. I sang his praises to Maggie (who I believe was the bar manager) and let her know the opportunities I experienced (which were rare) and she was attentive and considerate and said to let her know if I needed anything in the future. Again, a little not so little thing. The most important reason why I’ll be back? The. Food. The biscuits and preserves were amazing. Warm and savory. If you miss the brunch hours you’ll likely miss out on them. The bacon & pimento burger was well executed, but I learned pimento cheese wasn’t for me. Still not mad at the burger though! The chicken & waffles were great too and I’ve never had a long wait for food. Even when the restaurant was at its brunchiest (and it does get brunchy)! The outdoor seating is also nice (my preference) and I love the New Orleans photos in the restroom.“

“This place is AWESOME!!! The atmosphere is crazy with neon lights and black walls. You can do all you can eat KBBQ or ramen; I got the KBBQ. To be honest, I am not a big fan of cooking the food myself, and it didn’t help that they didn’t provide any oil, so food stuck to the hot plate. I recommend the brisket, any chicken, and the shrimp. I did not prefer the ground beef of the Hawaiian Bulgogi, but the flavor was definitely there. Fried rice, glass noodles, and egg rolls are available to take at any time. The food is good but not very special. I would like to come back to try the ramen, but I give MeatUp 4 Stars for now!“

“We dined at the Garden District and liked the atmosphere. The tables are outdoor, but they also have heaters for the cooler weather. The brisket is very good and their fries are great. They serve “Coke” in glass bottles :).My husband said the Bratwurst wasn’t that great, that you could get better Brats at the grocery store. The fried pickles were very, very hot. Almost burn your mouth hot, but the Server warned us that they were hot. The breading doesn’t really stay on the pickle it kind of slides off. I wouldn’t recommend them. It’s a great place to go with a group of people. There was a large group outside of the fence. There were several tables outside of the fence on the right side of the restaurant. They do have a bathroom inside, which is nice to have, see photos. It’s small but serves its purpose. The photo of the inside with barstools shown on google maps isn’t how it looks now, see my photo. The inside doesn’t seem to be utilized for patrons. It seems to be used as a kitchen space to prepare food or drinks.I added photos to show wheel chair access with the ramps from the street up the curb, so it is accessible. All in all, we would go back there, if we were in the area. The staff was friendly. There’s a bike rack on the right side of the fencing.“

“The staff is friendly and makes good suggestions. The facility is clean with openly accessible sinks to wash in front of others. The meat is fast and hot with a good variety of sauces. The sides are mildy warm. Avoid the green beans. Bring friends to help you finish. Plenty of boxes to take it with you. This is a neighborhood gem.“

“Great local bar with friendly staff. We stopped in when we were visiting because they play the Bills games. We only had drinks but they did serve some delicious looking chicken wings that everyone was eating during the game. I enjoyed some local made craft seltzer. Stop by for a drink if you are in the area.“

“It's nice and clean, but the pineapple slush soju comes out 40-50 minutes after ordering, and there seems to be a problem with the machine that uses the chadol or planer. About 1/3 of it came out like crumbs. Still, the people serving us changed the grill and were kind enough to refill the side dishes. Personally, I don't like the variety of steaks, but the beef brisket and thinly sliced pork are the best. I was looking forward to the Honey Butter Calamari, but it tasted like eating butter.“

“The food is very tasty. Although, the meal portions came out at very different times. We cooked and finished the chicken and scallops at our table. Way after we were done, the kimchi rice came out. It will make good leftovers, but we definitely would have preferred it during the rest of the meal.“
