“Delicious food for sharing, if you wish. while traveling, we try to avoid leftovers. Cocktails sounded awesome but were a bit lacking in flavor. Had a Mojito that tasted free of alcohol. Was supposed to have cardamom but not tasted at all. Recommend tuna/avocado appetizer and main dish of scallops over mushroom risotto. An interesting mix of sauces. Would return again but have happy hour elsewhere.“

“Kind of a mixed bag in terms of service and atmosphere. I'm not as hyped as the local daytime patrons about this spot, but they served a generous and fairly tasty cheese steak which merits a positive review. It's a tiny spot, just a row of bar stools that extend and wrap around a counter. There were two guys there, one young guy who was very friendly, polite and gracious, and an older guy that was gruf and a bit tone deaf to the fact that his sarcastic jokes (I think they were jokes) didn't land as intended with some of the guests.
There are better cheese steaks and better vibes, so I won't be returning, but I doubt you'll be disappointed if you grab something to go there.“

“I "cried" when my fave VEGAN or VEGETARIAN "GO-to" eat-in place closed all their locations around Boston. That was sadly & formerly GrainMaker .. (gone now) However DiG has grown on me as their deFACTO replacement for all FRESH VEGGIES and otherwise ALL FRESH MEAL VEGAN or VEGETERIAN eats and eat-in place! This is becoming my greatly reccomended "hidden vegan and veggie gem" in Boston with LOTS of locations. They have 3 locations thus far in Boston and 2 in Cambridge. I hav ONLY visited their downtown location thus far! Just as formerly with GrainMaker, DiG is as close to authentic home cooked! & genuinely HEALTHY! AND fresh meals that you can get to. Always fresh veggies, steamed & otherwise. --(they also serve a variety of proteins, as in variety of meats and fish, but i stay vegan. I have NEVER tried any of their meats or fish here.. ONLY their veggies and seasoned TOFU on occasion.. more oft than not, i do not even get their TOFU as a protein and opt to feast on JUST their steamed or boiled or baked veggies, bases. like rice and excellent mixed veggie salads sides!) Have been frequenting it for about 2 years since 2023 now, but held off on reviewing it until i was SURE of my experiences here. Decided to review it today bcs "it's time". I spoke to the very customer service oriented and responsibve supervisor here at this location, his name is DiJuan and was served by Adonis today and he was also very accommodating (after i explained i eat vegan) and on showing me my MANY fresh veggie choices, bases, proteins (including delish prepared Tofu) and PLENTY of heavenly veggie sides, all preped like you'd expect to find in a Thanksgiving grand day family meal. (AND they do this EVERY DAY!! ) This is HEALTHY eats and quite tasty and delish! See my posted pic w this review of my choice of eats today. In short, just today, i started with very little brown rice as my base and added 2 types of their fresh salad, Cannellini Beans w dill & greens along with their steamed or boiled Kale greens and added also a sweet potato that had been steamed & also steamed brocolli. I LUV eating fresh, healthy, TASTY and "homemade style" (as in NOT processed!!). I added their Garlic dressing to top it off. It came to something like 10+ bucks (B4 tax)! Unheard of !! for a BIG & FULLY portioned full veggie plate like this! BIG PORTION of a FULL PLATE! -- i declined, as usual to get any protein with my meal today, is why, STiLL i got a HUGE portioned plate! ( I normally HAVE2 order 2 - 3 separate orders and combine them, at HoneyGrow, anuther fave local "vegan" franchise in Boston, in order to get filled up if i'm only eating OMAD, as in One-meal-a-Day, in order to get full elsewhere usually!). They have a FAMILY (feeds4) option after 3pm every day that feeds 4-5 people (adults not kids) for like $43. QUITE A BARGAIN for something like this. AND it look like a Thankgiving day meal to top it off! --(formerly anuther non-vegan place "had this", now gone, called Boston Market. However they LOADED their side protions and even base meal with SO MUCH SALT, yuck! so that was ALL you could taste. THEY supposedly made home made, but found out NOT SO!!, theirs was loaded with processed sh*t, like their supposedly home-made mashed potatoes were the powder kind, loaded with pseudo milk and SALT, YUCK!!) NOT SO ! with this place.. DiG is 180 degrees fr tht.. This is truly GREAT tasting REAL and "home-prepped" veggies. They are winning me over from my other 2 "go-to's" "vegan-ish" franchises in Boston whcih have steadily been declining for various reasons, those being Bon-Me (their employees, over at Bon-Me for last 2-3 years it seems at ALL locations i have tried, simply do not undertsand nor speak english for the most part, their food WEN i can get it ordered the way i want it, is generally good, oft times its taken over 2 returned plates in order to get it prepared the way i orderd it.. v“

“We were offered a quiet spot to sit, which was really great. The staff were not all on the same page about what brunch options were being offered and it took quite awhile to get it sorted. Even though our room was quiet, the rest of restaurant was quite busy and service, while polite and friendly, was a little unsettled. Table set for four and not six-had to retrieve own silverware. Only 4 water glasses served. Food was generally ok, but in some cases didn't match the menu (no butter on pancakes, syrup cold, not warm). Peach mimosa was outstanding.“

“The food here is sooooooo good. The best food on base in my opinion. (But the galley is pretty awesome and way cheaper). You pay a bit more here but the quality is great. They also do private event catering. (just don't get the cake, it's meh). The only downside and I wish I could give 4.5 stars is the fact that all of their iced tea is by default sweet tea. Pretty ableist for a restaurant that caters to wounded warriors.“
“I walked in a bit on the late side looking for a quick and easy breakfast. The workers didn't turn me down for being almost three minutes until breakfast was over, first amazing thing. Tiana, my host was very kind, even asking me how I like my coffee, which I haven't been asked in ages. I definitely will come here again!“

“Came here for a dinner when none of us had the energy to go out and the food was nice, particularly for a hotel restaurant.
We had some soup (French onion and daily) and everyone enjoyed it and they came out promptly. We all got a variety of meals, flat bread, pasta Primavera, wings, and burger and they all had a good flavor.
Breakfast had come out well at the hotel as well.“

“We visited Old Georgetown Grill while in town for the weekend. It was very busy and there was only one server so it took a long time for us to get our food. She was slammed with work with so many people sitting. The food was actually really good. The server was nice, but it was hard to get her attention. At the end of the day, I would still come back. If you have a little time to spare, give them a chance, food is definitely worth it, and the prices are great.“

“14OCT.2021 I stayed in the Mariott a month ago and didn’t have the time to check out this lovely, refined restaurant. My experience was beautiful, professional, kind, easy going, pleasant, welcoming, inviting and amazing! The atmosphere was the same. My waitress was very kind and attentive. The food was super delicious. I had the Ollie's meat trio flatbread (Pepperoni, Calabrese, Toscano, fresh mozzarella, sweet basil)for a snack and then I devoured the Black Bass(local carrot trio, heirloom fingerling potato, French beans, citrus veloute)for dinner. The restaurant is spacious, clean, and very organized. Best experience ever. Best pre birthday dining festivities. So glad I was in the area and stopped by. I love, love, love, love this place. The bathrooms are no hand entry(wave hand in front of sensor, door gradually opens)and very clean. Apparently the transition from lunch to dinner, the lights are dimmed.“

“Brunch on a Saturday went smoothly. Lamb meatball shakshuka, Bison Huevos Rancheros & kids cheeseburger sliders w/ fries-everything was on point. Lots of flavor for the adults, unique items that aren't able to be found elsewhere. Service was smooth and my cocktail was tasty.“

“My husband and I decided to stay here overnight during our drive home from a beach vacation. I am covered in mosquito bites and am just miserable. I couldn’t wait to take a shower. Well let me tell you, I have NEVER taken a shower as good as the shower I just took in this hotel. It scratched every mosquito bite on my body simultaneously and felt so amazing. The provided toiletries smell like I just stepped out of a spa. The towel was fluffy but not linty. The water pressure was immaculate. The temperature was consistent and easy to set to the perfect amount of hotness. And my skin doesn’t feel like it’s been stripped of all of its moisture like it does after a shower at most hotels. I will only stay at this chain from now on if they’re all like this. I need to know how to get this at home. I’m serious. Best shower of my life.“

“A friend and I had dinner at Nordstrom Market Place at Montgomery Mall (Bethesda, MD) on Saturday, 1/18/2025. The dinner was exceptional. From the Chef's Selection menu, I chose the braised beef ragu served with cheese tortellini, and it was outstanding. I swear the tortellini tasted like it was made fresh just for me - it literally melted in my mouth. The braised beef was cooked to perfection. The ragu sauce, with chunks of tomato and spinach, was delicious. My friend had the tomato basil soup and a beautiful salad and said both were delicious. We had a 6 pm reservation but it wasn't needed as the restaurant was not crowded. On a scale of 1-5 (5 belong difficult to converse with others at your table), I give this restaurant a 0.5 - the room was peacefully quiet. We had no problem conversing with each other and there was no background music coming through the speakers. Staff were attentive and pleasant. I highly recommend this cozy restaurant and plan to return very soon.“

“Went for happy hour. Appetizers were really good. Truffle fries were on point! Hot, fresh, delicious! I had shrimp taco which was good. It was $7 for 2 taco.
Nice beer selection. I love IPA, they had several to choose from.
The only caveat I had was at 7pm they started trivia. Trivia wasn't the issue, the issue was the person on the mic was extremely loud. We weren't playing trivia, we were more interested in talking to each other. The loudness was too much. We left and went down the street.“

“This place is very consistent. We have eaten here many times, and the food is always very good. Prices are very reasonable, and the place is usually not too noisy. I had the turkey club sandwich with sweet potato fries, and it was delicious, with enough to take out for another meal later. I highly recommend NYAJ's !“

“We went for the Waygu special. It wasn't as tender as I expected. I didn't complain but was truthful when asked. Daniel Festa, the GM, comped us a different cut to take home and try. We had great conversation with him. He didn't have to do that nor did we ask. Great customer service all around. He was right it was a more tender and flavorful cut. It was the Bavette, cooked rare.“

“The service was attentive and friendly. With the preselected menu being two servings of steak frites, they'd asked me what temperature I wanted. I figured they'd be masters of medium rare given the restaurant's name, but unfortunately I wasn't served a medium rare steak. The first course they served was rare, with a good part of the center uncooked. The sauce was good, but the doneness made it much too chewy. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and waited for my second course, and again, was not served a medium rare steak. This time, though, on the opposite end of the spectrum— the steak was served medium well, without much pink. I'm mildly confused by two things: how there's this much variance in steak doneness, and why a restaurant named Medium Rare seemingly hasn't figured out how to make a medium rare steak. I'd give it a 6/10 overall— I wish the food was treated better.“
