“Went to World of Beer with some friends and had a solid time overall. Huge beer selection and the staff was helpful with recommendations since there were honestly too many options lol. Food was better than expected too, especially for a beer spot. Place got pretty loud and busy later in the night, but that’s kind of the vibe there anyway. Good spot to hang out, watch games, and relax.“

Hands-down the most convenient place to live as a UMD student, as it's the closest apartment off the high way and only 10 mins away from downtown silver spring!!!!“

Galaxy Hut has crushed my expectations.
Buffalo things were very good, beer selection is massive, but the highlight was the burger.
By far the best vegetarian burger I have ever had, and also the eggplant fries, just wow!

“We came from out of state (NC) and just happened to Google bars around and this popped up. Hands down the best time we had. Luke, the bartender, was funny and amazing. We ended up going back the next day just to see him before we left town. Definitely will be back!“

“Five stars for what they do alone...proceeds from Stray Cat Cafe and Lost Dog Sandwiches and Pizza next door donated to animal rescue. The menu at Stray Cat is a bit more sophisticated than the sandwiches and pizza next door - reliable comfort food. Pictures of cats adorn the walls. What's not to love here? Good craft beer list too, just like next door.“

“Stayed at a local hotel and ordered from Door Dash. SECRET SPICY CHICKEN was great. Pretty much like General Tso's Chinese but a tad spicier. Large pieces of good quality chicken, even the medium order was too much for me. Pair it with steamed white rice, put the rice in the sauce. Very good.“

“I happened to be at The Renegade two weeks ago. I love country music so I thought it could be a great idea to show my brother this restaurant. We came from Spain and discovered this place! What we didn’t know is that we would meet Paul, who took care of us and “tour us around” their menu and options. The food was delicious and healthy as well! Artichokes, hummus, cauliflower and the chicken were amazing! My brother is vegetarian so they prepared a pad thai for him and he really enjoyed it. After dinner, was time to look everybody dancing on the floor… With the perfect atmosphere! I wish I could post some pictures!! I ordered jerk chicken with peas/rice/callaloo & curried shrimp with peas/rice/cabbage, & fresh soursop juice. Both meals were FANTASTIC!! The peas/rice have a nice kick. I've never had soursop juice, so let me tell you this 1 here made me a believer. I am now going to be a regular. I highly recommend Jerk House. “Excellent, efficient and clean establishment. Food was ready when I walked in to pick it up at 10-15 min after I placed the order. The Tejas BBQ brisket taste was fantastic. The SriPraPhai drunken noodles with tofu was so-so. Its taste profile was more like Pad Thai than drunken noodles I have had from prior restaurants, so would not get this again. The taste wasn't bad, but not what I expected. Overall, I would still return and try this food concept chain again (similar to a food court in a mall with many restaurant options but with a small pick up window and assembly room in the back).“

“I’ve been seeing this new place develop but hadn’t had a chance to go in until today. While waiting for my prescription at CVS up the block, I tried their soup of the day. The front of the house has a few tables and a counter, giving the impression of a typical take-out joint. But they have the next store front too, with comfortable high and low tables. Since I was eating in, I was served on nice china, glassware, and real utensils. The Broccoli cheddar soup was excellent. It’s very clean and bright and the restroom is too. This is a much needed addition to the 12th St business district. I wish them much success. I’ll go for the full menu for sure. Hope you do too!“

It was happy hour so got $2 off my drink and the woman at the bar was so patient with me and let me try several of their options before I finally decided on something delicious to drink.
