“Once you try one of the Sunshine Store's sandwiches, you will wonder why it took so long to try one! 😊 My husband and father in law introduced me to this hidden pleasure the first time I visited the area. We started with breakfast (tasting the local culinary treasure of scrapple), then I was introduced to their burgers on the same trip, and I was surprised that everything is cooked to order. I have not found any burger yet that is close to comparison!! My husband's family has made this a regular stop for sandwiches over several decades and generations. My father in law (nearby farmer/owner of Greenstone Custom Farming) has eaten there for several decades along with feeding his crew from this hidden gem, this has been a favorite of my husband's since he was old enough to eat there, and now it is a favorite place for our children to eat with grandpa. The store is small and with limited seating, it would be best to order the food to go or if you are eating alone you can sit at the counter and watch your food be prepared. A must try in the area and definitely worth the drive through the beautiful countryside!“

We went on a Saturday evening for the first time and was surprised to see many people there, the service was quick and the food was very good. I recommend it.“

“My work splurged on us a lunch for us consisting of the Rasa Tantori Tasting Bundle. This meal is advertised as feeding 10 people, I think they are underselling just how much food you get. Were 10 extremely hungry people and then we were 10 very satisfied and perhaps overly full people a few minutes later, with food to spare! Nothing was particularly spicy, there was a little heat on one of the dishes, but nothing crazy. The variety of food is well balanced. Chicken, tofu, saffron rice, Greens, salads, chickpeas and curry with 2 chutneys, even dessert cookies! I recommend this meal if you are looking for an easy way to order a variety of food in one go that can feed 10 hungry, or 14 less hungry people. Especially if any of them are cautious about trying Indian. It was delicious well made. Not to mention conveniently delivered.“

“I spend over $250 a month here. Most of the staff know me because I come in so often. The service is typically very good. Carlos, the manager is very friendly and always gives great service. Along with some of the older staff. But some of the younger staff need further training on proper customer service. Twice now, I’ve gone there, with the same individuals, and asked for a bag for my food. Instead of assisting me, they put the food on the counter and point me to the bags, saying, “they are over there!” I find that very distasteful and in poor taste for a frontline person serving the public. Part of the customer experience is assisting the customer. I worked retail for many years and always made sure my customers were satisfied. That kind of service is unacceptable!“

Kale is much better than what normally comes on a taco, and the flavor doesn’t overwhelm as kale is known to do. From the sauces, there is a good heat which was a nice surprise the first time. Everything else was great, I had a omlette and it was delicious and very well prepared. Our only complaint was the A/C, it was pumping, luckily I had (2) light jackets in my car. I noticed the couple next to us went to his car and got an sweatshirt for his Mom. It was just a bit cold, but I would deal with that versus A/C is broken. I would go back as this was my first visit.“
