We’ve been to Bench so many times and we were always very happy with the food and service . This is a hidden gem in Rio. While other restaurants are crowded and noisy, this one has a classy and quiet atmosphere. The food’s delicious and flavorful. We appreciate the chef and the hosts- they get busy with a small staff but they are still very hospitable and attentive. “Takeout has its limitations. Tonight we ordered burgers and a pizza. They forgot the pizza and by the time it arrived the burgers were stone cold and the fries a soggy pile of grease. I want to support DFH but if it happens again, I'll wait until indoor dining resumes.“

“I have been going to Tom and Rays since the old location. What makes them stand out is the cost conscience menu, fresh tasting food, and a staff mostly local high school kids that are professional with can do attitude. Right now I’m raving about something as simple as stewed tomatoes as a complementary side dish. Their breakfast foods including creamed chipped beef fresh. Their lunch and dinner foods bring you back, especially the open faced beef sandwich with mash potatoes and gravy, to a simpler time. Check out their menu and ask them about their pies.“

“I’ve been coming to First Watch for many years and I always come back because the food is honestly some of the best breakfast you can get when dining out.

My only issue, and unfortunately it’s been consistent, is the service. Every time I visit, the service falls well short of expectations. I spent years working in the restaurant industry as a server, bartender, and manager, so I know how much difference good service can make. I’ve always believed that you should give your best to every table because you never know who you’re serving, and great service is just as important as great food in creating a positive dining experience.

I’m not writing this review just to complain. I’ll continue coming back because I truly love the food. I just hope they focus more on improving the overall customer experience to match the quality of what’s coming out of the kitchen.“

“This has been my go to reasonably price steak place. I have had everything from 200 dollar steaks all the way to 10 dollar steak and eggs. This longhorn was consistently good, and on the rare occasion it wasn't right they fixed it. The quality of the cooking has become a bit of an issue, it's a coin toss lately, they are still willing to fix it, I just wish they didn't have to fix it. I'm still going because it is an awesome deal, even with the price hikes, and the staff is great. This is not meant to be a bad review, like I said I still go there, just an observation and one that is fixable.“
