“TRY THE FAMILY STYLE. My husband and I have eaten here plenty of times but this time we had our kids with us. We tried the family style menu and we're extremely impressed by the portion sizes and how everything was served. We were given the option of two appetizers which were huge and plenty to split amongst four people. In addition, we had two large salads, one of which we didn't even touch because one salad was enough for the family of four. Our waitress suggested several menu options which the kids and I loved. My husband was able to get his favorite rigatoni D. We all still had so much food at the end of our meal that we packed most of it up for leftovers. The best part of the family meal was the desserts. Small portions of each of the desserts on their menu were served, allowing the kids in my husband and I to try a piece of each one. We left extremely happy and full.“

“I have been eyeing this place for a while since I've been on the hunt for really good tonkatsu meals. It was one of the handful to pop up as a recommendation for the Ellicott area. I'm proud to say that I've found it-- the best tonkatsu restaurant. The waiter was very nice and attentive, and it paired well with the calm ambiance. There's pretty lights and seating. It was not busy at all when we visited but I hope in the future it will get a lot more popular-- because this place is such a golden find! We ordered the tonkatsu (pork cutlet) with curry, the chicken katsu curry, and takoyaki balls! The breading in the meat was so crispy, and the meat was plentiful, with good ratio. There was no fat pieces found in any of our meals. The food was also cooled to an edible temperature that you could consume once it was served! The curry comes on the side in a large cup, ensuring your meat does not get soggy. Overall, very affordable and it has satisfied my search for best tonkatsu at an affordable price with great service Please visit Karè Bar!“
“Had several different dishes so far and they're all good. You get more authentic Greek dishes that you can't find at other places. Falafel is crispy, but not too dry. Orange cake with honey cinnamon syrup is outstanding. Got the linguine pasta & the first time the veggies were grilled & it added a nice, complex flavor. All of the other times getting that pasta though, the veggies aren't grilled. $22 is a high price point for essentially veggie spaghetti. The grilled veggies are what really elevates it & I wouldn't get it again without that preparation.“

Hamburger came well cooked, which is as my husband likes it. The server came and took our order after giving us extra time to survey the menu. He kept an eye on our table to attend to any needs. We started with the calamari, which was okay, not too greasy, but good. The chicken and beef burgers were the best with a variety of different preparations and toppings, which were all good. The most disappointing was the meatloaf, which was incredibly salty. In fact everything on the plate was over-salted, including the mashed potatoes, and especially the cauliflower that accompanied it. The veggie wrap was fresh, but a little sparse and could have been better filled. The wrap itself was fresh and overall good. Might visit again. Not quite worth 4 stars, but the choices in the area are limited and Ten Oaks is a decent option.“

It wasn’t as crowded as other places … amazinggggggg service ! Loved the quick response and smiling faces in the bar ..They had one IPA ? and it tasted good. Wish they had few other IPAs in the mix . Not too much of beeer choices though I loved the IPA they gave . Chicken wings was also really good . Right spice and well made . My daughter and I came here to celebrate my birthday - and Ananda did not disappoint! My mood was majorly elevated the moment we walked in the door and took in the gorgeous lavishness that is Ananda. From the warm and welcoming greeting to the decadent desserts this was a 5+ experience! We had Vegetable Samosa Chaat for an appetizer (enough for a whole meal!), Mint and Chili Naan (you must try!), Lamb Vindaloo, Fish Curry, and a side of Palak Paneer. For drinks we had the non-alcohol Organic Berry Smash and Goji Iced Tea both of which were delicious! Although stuffed and sated we HAD to get dessert (it was my birthday, right?) and ordered the Gulab Jamun (oh so warm and scrumptious) and the Flourless Chocolate Torte w/ ice cream. Wait staff and servers were all extremely personable, friendly, efficient, and kind. Ananda is a just tad on the pricey side - but worth every penny! I can't wait to go back! :)“

There is live music in the evening late in the week and on weekends, which is fun but makes talking on the bar side of the venue rather difficult. Fortunately, there is another side of the establishment, which is a quieter and more family-friendly sit-down restaurant. The wait staff is attentive and cordial and the rest of the crew is helpful. This is not what I would call a country hangout or biker bar at all. But it is quite common for older bikers with expensive Harleys show up to relax. This is a load and friendly pub/restaurant and I can recommend it as a fun place to meet up. “I love Kloby's! The food is fantastic, the service welcoming and thoughtful. We celebrated a special date starting with the pork belly deviled eggs and jalapeño pork balls. The deviled eggs were my favorite (who doesn't love a deviled egg?); hubby loved the spicy pork balls. Both are must tries! Careful though, the spicy pork balls have a kick to them (increased just a smidge by the sauce they sit in), that you may not notice until you've eaten the entire thing! Make sure you have water to sip because they are just that good! For our mains we had the meal pictured below, though I had to bring a serving of the Jar-B-Que home to eat for lunch the next day. I will not let another year go by before visiting again!“

I had the shrimp carbonara which was very nice with large shrimp. 2 others had the scallops special with risotto and loved it. Large portions which we all enjoyed as leftovers the next night. Heath Bar bread pudding with vanilla ice cream was a decadent ending. Service was good, but we were seated by the kitchen which was the only minor disappointment of the evening.“

“I read some of the reviews of this restaurant prior to arriving because I was staying at the hotel. At first, I was a bit skeptical of even entertaining the idea of trying this restaurant based on what people wrote, therefore, I started researching other restaurants within close proximity. Whenever my wife and I arrived at the hotel (7 Feb 2024), it was a little bit later than anticipated, so we ended up just staying on property and eating at this restaurant - thankfully it was still open.When we walked into the restaurant, we were greeted very nicely by a couple of employees. Since it was a weekday, the restaurant wasn't busy at all so it was quiet...adding to the enjoyable/relaxing atmosphere. When we sat down and read through the drink menu, I quickly realized that I was on the East Coast because I saw one of my favorite beers on the menu...Yuengling! Being from Las Vegas, NV, we don't have that beer in the city, as odd as it may sound, considering that city has pretty much everything. So whenever I travel East, I try to find this beer whenever I can.Our server, Meaza, was phenomenal! It was refreshing to have a server who was very friendly, attentive, efficient, and amiable...because it seems rare these days to have customer service like this. Our food was amazing; it's unfortunate that other people didn't have that same experience (based on their reviews). We ordered the Buffalo Chicken Wings, Salmon Piccata, Spaghetti Frutti di Mare, Sautéed Spinach, and Steamed Broccoli. I will say that I've had slightly better Buffalo Chicken Wings, but these weren't awful either. Having experienced so many different restaurants in Las Vegas, it can be difficult at times to eat anywhere else without having a bias towards Las Vegas dining. But I can honestly say that the quality and quantity of this restaurant's entrées were remarkable.The following day, my wife and I tried the breakfast at this restaurant in hopes that the previous night's dinner wasn't a fluke. We opted for the full breakfast buffet because for one, I reserved the hotel room that comes with this buffet every morning. Also, it's more beneficial, from a price standpoint, to get the full buffet ($16.95), versus ordering off the menu. You can also order the continental buffet which costs $11.95; however, I wasn't in the mood to just get cold breakfast food. The options were spectacular...and the quality of the food was even more astonishing. We ended up eating the full buffet for the entire stay and the food options were the same for the most part - I think my favorite entrée/item on the buffet line was the Mushroom Casserole and of course the bacon. Also, of noteworthy significance, both Irene and Angela did such a prodigious job with their customer service skills to which I wish this business would publicize their incredible skills for other restaurant's employees to emulate. They were both VERY friendly, professional, attentive, and highly efficient in every way.The décor was nice but I felt that the fabric on some of the booth seating could use some deep steam cleaning...to include the carpets.
