“5 stars isn't enough!! From the moment we walked in until the end of our night we were satisfied. The decorations, food, and service was amazing! They even offered me a quiet place to pray :). Give this place a try-trust me (portions may seem small, but it was very filling- we ordered the bowl of fries, which came with a delicious sauce, CROQUETTES, fish burger, beef burger, and gnocchi pomodoro. It felt like we were in nyc enjoy :)“

“I was there for the opening day and it was wonderful. The staff are so friendly and had huge smiles on their faces. The line moved quickly and the food was delicious and made exactly to order. The soup was still piping hot when I got back to the office. So happy they finally opened a location in Union Station.“

“An absolute gem, very well excecuted mediterranean flavors, we had the braised short ribs and a very refreshing tzatziki. It is the first place I have visited offering different tzatziki flavors..There is a cocktail for every taste, the whole staff makes you feel welcomed, specially our server weselin, he made our visit so affable and interesting...You can see the owner working side by side with his staff making sure every detail is taken care of. There is attention to detail even with multiple instagramable corners..thank you, we will be back!!“

“I dined alone recently at Alhambra and loved my experience. The Moroccan chicken was SO tasty and my mocktail was to die for! One tiny negative was that some parts of my rice were a bit hard (overcooked maybe or pilaf?) but the amazing and attentive service made up for it and it was still yummy. The dining room was also calm and peaceful. I’ll definitely return soon! :)“

“This mezeh is one of my most consistent weekly meals not only because the unique flavors and quality it offers, but because the consistent service I receive, which is top notch. Joanna, one of the staff members has always been the same, warm, patient person. If I come in late before it's about to close, it's super busy or anytime...she greets you with a smile and excitement to serve. As a DC native and ward 8 resident, knowing such a well run business is in my community is a gift.“

“The truck was clean the chopped cheese was absolutely delicious and Johnny had phenomenal service. The location has a nice little shaded bench area and you really can't go wrong at this good truck. I was sent by security at the air and space museum. They all raved about it so I had to check it out and I highly recommend!“

“They do not make pita sandwiches correctly!!! Instead of opening the pita and putting everything inside (as is done at other CAVAs), they put the stuff on top of the pita, making it impossible to eat. Pita is a POCKET. You should be filling it on the inside! Please start making this correctly. Kind of shocking that you get this wrong. I won't go back until you do.“

“Discovered Maman Joon by accident as most places were closed at 3:00pm. Their food was exceptional. We had the Kashk E’ Bademian (sautéed eggplant), Salad E’ Shirazi (cucumber salad), Beef Koobideh (ground beef kebab) and Baklava. It was flavorful and spiced without being too overpowering. Prices were very reasonable, too. Couldn’t believe they got all five star ratings until we tried it. No seating though so best for take away.“

Only drawback is the cashiering/register service- need to have designated area for pickup orders AND those placing orders (building their bowls and orders); wait time for picking up my order could have been quicker especially due to the fact I ordered a cold beverage with it“

I got the Mediterranean Bowl and am surprised to share how fresh and well balanced it was. I enjoyed it more than the last week of city fare.

“This was our first time coming to the restaurant, although we’d come to the museum many times.
The burgers were delicious and the Greek fries are very tasty too, but it’s a huge amount so if 2 of you are getting burgers, one order of fries will be plenty!“
