“Hi everyone,It's been a while but I'm back. My family and I love this place. The food is very flavorful and the sides shocked me as they are as good as they look. I had only had yellow rice (arroz Amarillo.. hopefully I spelled that correctly). In Dominican Republic but this rice when smothered in sauteed onions is amazing. I'm about half way through trying everything on the menu and the only thing that wasn't what I expected was the rotisserie chicken. It wasn't bad just not as amazing as my favorite spot. Look out for its review if I haven't already. Oh and if you hablo español then you will surely appreciate this place.Vegetarian options: The veggies are seasoned very well. “Amazonia is a great bar/restaurant. Daniel was a great server and recommended great veggie options. The food and drinks came out promptly with great presentation and the upstairs staff was all really friendly. Can’t say the same for the downstairs hostess who wouldn’t let me go up to Amazonia without asking her and then couldn’t find my reservation after asking me the details 3 times and not being able to pull it up. After she pulled it up she said none of my party was there even though everyone but me was there. Maybe it’s a communication thing between upstairs and downstairs but for such an expensive restaurant, the hostess shouldn’t try and fight you as you’re walking in.“

“Delicious food and excellent service! The ‘Ceviche Clásico’ which is offered with the fish of the day is deliciously and freshly prepared. I also recommend the ‘Concolón’: a crispy fried rice pot which is prepared table side…very tasty! We capped our lunch off with the ‘Suspiro Limeña’ for dessert and some Pisco Sours to drink. “While I haven't visited this restaurant in-person, my orders through GrubHub have been on point!! The chicken is flavorful and seasoned well, and juicy. The sides are filling and are also very good. I got the brussel sprouts and fries. The brussel sprouts are coated with a carmelized type of ingredient that packs a big much. The only negative about them is that they are usually pretty big which makes it hard to eat them whole like normal sized ones, so keep a knife handy to cut them smaller. The fries were also very good. I must say the sauces are probably the best I've had out of all similar chicken spots, especially the green sauce!! Oh my, my, my!!! I just had them for lunch today and I'm really contemplating on ordering them for dinner - they are just that good!“

“This is hands-down, the best Silvestre location in my opinion. I always call and order my food and it's always ready for pick up when I go. The service is phenomenal and so is the food. My go to order is a steak taco bowl. The steak is always very tender and well seasoned. The taco bowl is always overflowing and the amount of steak that you get for the price is amazing. Both the green and orange sauces, put all of the dishes over the top. I've also had their pupusa and tamales. I love a good pupusa and the curdito that comes with it is so fresh. The prices are great, and the food is amazing. This is definitely one of my favorite spots to go to when I don't wanna cook“

“Let me tell you…..that Pescado Fritas…….loooooord have mercy. I went back the next day after my first try. Best fried fish I have had EVER!!!! It melts in your mouth like butter. They put it on top of a leaf of lettuce. I will be back here on the regular.“

“After searching for good grilled chicken in the US for almost 20 years, I can say that I was finally able to find the only chicken shop that has been able to match the best grilled chicken in Peru.The flavor and texture of the grilled chicken at Sardis Chicken in Oxon Hill in Maryland is AMAZING!The fries are very good, the yucas are PERFECTLY cooked and fiber-free!!And the sauces?... There is NOTHING comparable in the Metro area. Absolutely the best (they should sell them in supermarkets). It would be a success!We were able to try the other Peruvian food dishes but "nothing happens."Anyway, thank you for the courtesy, Mrs. Blanca.And congratulations to Chef Manager Carlos for the quality of the grilled chicken. “Food was good even though she gave us the wrong sandwiches. We ordered two chicken hoagies and she even said "chicken" only for us to end up with their roast beef version of the same. We had already been starving and didn't want to wait for another remake so we ate it and enjoyed it. Might revisit if I'm in the area and looking for a quick bite to eat.“

“Prices are a bit higher than other Peruvian chicken places. The employees were very nice. My husband got tacos and he enjoyed them I got chicken with green beans and rice. It was pretty good. Chicken was a little drier than other Peruvian chicken places but still very tasty. The sides were amazing. We split a tres leches that was great.“
