“This was the most authentic, delicious, Chinese food I've had since visiting China back in 2007. It brought back so many memories, I could have cried. I had the black vinegar peanuts, red chili sesame dumplings, and the minced pork noodles. I can't wait to go back. This is food I'll dream about.“

“I absolutely love Qu! My boyfriend and I grab dinner from there at least once a week. We’ve tried the tonkoto miso, beef, and the shrimp ramen! All so flavorful and filling! The sushi tacos are also to die for. They always taste fresh as they are! Last by not least the customer service is great. They always speak, smile, and food is prepared quickly! You have to try!!! Some of the best Ramen ever, by far.“

“This is a nice reminder of what authentic Chinese food taste like. We tried slices beef with peppers, spring rolls, egg drop soup, and chicken fried rice. Everything was piping hot and well flavored.

The only thing to be modified is the time it took to take drink orders and the order of food delivery (the preference is for appetizers to come out before the meal but asking the customer if all is desired together is good).

The venue is spacious, the light is well balanced and it has nice music playing juat enough to set the scene for authentic cuisine. We will definitely be back when we return to DC.“

“Definitely tasty! To be quite honest the wait on a Friday night was 3 hours (we arrived at 5:45pm), and I wouldn’t quite say it was worth it. They should get a bigger space or take online reservations so that folks don’t have to physically arrive to get in line. Love the vegan options though!“

“Really great Thai place at Eastern Market! The interior is so fun and trendy and they have wine and beer and cocktails, a very cute bar! Will definitely be visiting regularly. We did the papaya salads for lighter fare. The spice level was perfect and you can ask for spicier if you want to.“

“The food is good, but I’m gonna have to remove stars because of the customer service. 😕 When I first entered, I wasn’t greeted. The associate just stared at me, as if to say “I don’t have all day. Are you gonna order anything?” She had the most stony expression… It was only my second time here, so I was quite sure I had not had any negative encounters with anyone. I was trying to get suggestions and ask questions about certain things, but every time I asked a question about something, the server just dumped it in the bowl. He never answered the question. When I got to the cashier, I apologized, because I wondered if I had done something wrong. But he just referred to me as “diva,” and tried to assure me that nothing was wrong. I told him I didn’t appreciate being called a diva. I just don’t like being treated like I’m a problem when I haven’t done anything. I gave two stars for service, because my first experience was so amazing! I don’t know what happened.“

“I want to personally thank the wonderful staff at this restaurant! I was quite ill and not only to take give me medicine with. They drove me to the store so that I could get medicine and clean up. “This is a very casual welcome addition to the Tenleytown area.

Using the touch screens to order dinner was a new thing for my husband and me. It was very intuitive but a nice staff member came over to make sure we were able to complete all parts of the transaction.

You pick your food from the very easy-to-see menu touch screens at the front and pay for your meal. Then pick out what table you want. Our food was very well prepared and the servers were nice and attentive.

“Hands down the absolute best food I’ve ever had! The lamb kebab was excellent — savory, flavorful, and delicious. And the scallion lamb soup was perfection on a plate! It wasn’t too light, not too heavy, and had the exact amount of spice to finish it. The staff was kind, let us wear Uighur traditional hats, and take photos at the stage. It was the best dine in experience! To top things off, the food is halal!! I cannot recommend this place enough.“

The atmosphere is perfect for a quick bite, most people are in and out, it does not claim to be anything fancy - just simple hearty food. Be aware that this is a CASH ONLY establishment, I always come with a $20 bill and that is always enough to cover my meal + tip. I would recommend the eye round steak & brisket pho. Always one of my favorites to cheer me up. There is free parking outside of this establishment. The manager is clear, straight to the point, and will get you your meal quick and efficiently! “The rainbow soup dumplings were quite good—especially the shrimp and zucchini flavor, which stood out to me. They have more of a fusion twist compared to traditional soup dumplings. As for the red oil wontons, they were just okay. The flavor wasn’t really my preference, particularly the taste of the vegetables. Will not recommend.“
