“The food was amazing. The chicken was hot and juicy. The rolls were sweet warm and soft. The employees were so nice and helpful. The bartender Alexis helped me decide on the perfect drink for me. I think I fell in love with the Hot Honey Margarita. Always expect it to be busy inside so be prepared for a short wait time. Jose helped me decide what type of chicken I should get. I love it and I advise everyone to eat there at least once.“
“This was my favorite place to go at the beginning of the year. It’s a great hangout place, the food came fast, and it was really clean! I love how affordable it is and that their potion sizes are fair.Dietary restrictions: I don’t eat red meat so this was a nice alternative from places that always mostly have burgers.“
“Had h&chicken while in town for a concert. It. Was. Amazing. We got it delivered to our hotel and it was quite simply the absolute best fried chicken I’ve EVER had. I’ll definitely recommend to everyone I know who lives up that way or is up visiting.“
“Amazing chicken and just to warn you it is extra spicy. We got the medium and hot chicken sandos and the medium is hot and the hot is extra hot. We had the entire medium and half of the hot one. We also got mild and medium chicken tenders as well as the hot and extra hot chicken bites and my wife had a hot one and it was quite hot and well save the extra hot and rest of food for tomorrow for dinner. We got UberEats BOGO deals which made the food very cheap. So glad we tried Hangry Joes!“
“Everything was fine enough. I liked it overall but I can’t honestly give it five stars. I got the vegan option and it just seemed like it was subpar compared to the meat options. In DC especially vegan options are always as good and as good as non vegan options and it just wasn’t so “
“Roman rooster has some of the best breakfast biscuits are always consistent as well as that Tater Tots. I can't tell you about the atmosphere can't tell you about the service because I get mine through Uber Eats however if I ever do go I hope that the standards of the service and the atmosphere lives up to the standard already set by the food Roman rooster is some good chicken.“
“I wondered around the area for new spots I could try on my lunch break and yesterday on 3/12/2024 I stumbled across this gem .. the two guys who were working were extremely nice and the one guy who took my order was extremely knowledgeable , and he was patient with me . I was also able to grab a great cup of ice ... ! I ordered the burger with the candied jalepenos and by the time I got to my desk my food was still pipping hot and I didn't even get caught by supervisor while I was sneaking fries lol !!! All the sauces were great and the burger itself was a solid 10/10 !!! I'm so thankful for this place and can't wait until payday to come back lol !! Thank you so much !!Sincerely , the woman who smelled really good :)“
“The hard part is parking but there is a parking garage across the street. This is for eating outside so if the weather is good then it’s great to catch a quick bite. Service is a cashier or kiosk, but remember, it’s a quick bite with friends. The food is good but can get a little messy ( mostly sandwiches), but there’s a public restroom nearby to wash your hands. Both the Virginia honey butter chicken sandwich and duck fat fries are flavorful.“
“Really good chicken sandwich, very juicy and crispy. Ordered mild based on prior reviews, in hindsight would have ordered medium. Coleslaw and pickles were really good. Waffle fries were good but considering I was the only person in the restaurant, they were warm but not hot. Restaurant was freezing inside.“
“on our first visit they absolutely killed it it was out of this world um so i came with my brother his spouse and my parents we got in and the menu was very simple and understandable when i was up to order i got a brown sugar machita tea (i think that's what it was) a 6 wings mild combo with fries with the upcharge for tostitos nacho cheese it came with some sliced pickles and sauces on the side so inside while i am having this i am daydreaming about my hero henry miller the expat wormwood bohemian writer who i am currently reading 'the air conditioned nightmare' um i heard this place was korean owned what's funny is i saw on youtube there were korean internet cafes i saw in videos that'd have food there that looked so good to be online and get good snacks another was i knew people in the army who were going to korea and it sounded like a blast i think i heard that's where chappelle's friend donnell rawlings got stationed i didn't know he was a veteran for a while um the location is by the skatepark which can always be so charming and funny the young punks and skaters style and dialect and personalities like the brand i later learned of dirty ghetto kids dgk i like while we were there the people watching was nice too there was a muscular black guy who had what looked like greek college stuff on another was a charming police officer who picked up the wings were cooked perfectly the oils and skin and tenderness it was a great time and the owner was on point“
“Very delicious sandwich and good fries. My complaint is with the service. We ordered online and picked up the food. We paid extra .50 cents for each lettuce on each butger and got only one burger had lettuce. I also asked for Rooster sauce and honey mustard but instead received 6 honey mustard sauces. This was my first experience and I would eat here again for the food quality. Hopefully this was a one off.“
“We got the astroburger, a chicken blt, chicken tenders and tots, a creme brulee doughnut (pictured), a chocolate cake doughnut, a vanilla glazed doughnut and a maple bacon doughnut. Everything was delicious, our food was quick, the maple bacon doughnut was the star of the show. It was rainy so outside seating wasn't an option. We went and sat inside at the Astrobar. The service wasn't super helpful on either side and it was hard to even find a host/hostess or bartender on the other side so if you're coming here for the first time, i suggest you figure out what you're going to order before you come. There's not a lot of room and it gets pretty busy. You kind of need to be quick to order and move out of the way. Other than that, it was pretty chill and reasonably clean there for a bar. Plenty of tvs but it wasn't too roudy. You could easily still carry on a conversation here. I'd come back for drinks next time.Kid-friendliness: My son is really picky. We got the chicken tenders and tots. He loved them. They were easy for him to handle and not overly salty or overly breaded like some places.“
“My only criticism is that Wooboi doesn't exist in Europe. I dream of this hot chicken sandwich on a daily basis. Service was impeccable, the sandwich was a spiritual experience and enough for two people (great value for money!) and the bathrooms were clean. I will be coming back whenever I get the chance! I might just move here JUST for those sandwiches.“
“I’ve been a Nando’s fan since the mid-1990s, when I lived in London. My local then was on Camden High Street and was, as the Brits would say, bloody good, and the ones I frequent across the river now in Arlington, VA, are more than OK. But this one I’m in now? Across the road from the Cap 1? Wow. The customer service is off the charts. And the food? Fantastic.Vegetarian options: The veggie burger is good and the veggie rainbow bowl heavenly.“
“This is still the best place in Beltsville to eat, and the best rotisserie chicken by far. The dining area could use some sound deadening material. The alfajores used to be melt-in-your-mouth delicious. They're still good, but not like they used to be.Go, eat. You won't be disappointed.“
“Dining at shababi was an absolute delight. I came to celebrate after I finished taking my board exams and I couldn’t have chosen a better place. To start they brought some hummus topped with shredded beef and beat spread, which the former was my favorite. They later brought the roasted chicken which had been marinated for 48 hours plus. Every bite was so flavorful. As this is a pop up I recommend you go soon and get a feel for Palestinian food“
“Good service and tasty food. My sandwich, the Seoul King, was a bit too rich. They dip the friend chicken in the sauce but I think that they should let it drain more. It was just too much. I have tried about every hot chicken place in the DC area and I think that this is a 3.5-4 compared to others. I will come back to try it again.“
“This is a nice little chicken and waffle place. I was introduced to this by my friend and her boyfriend. I got a waffle, wings, and a chicken slider where it was 2 small waffles and a chicken breast like you get a Chick-Fil-A. Everything was really good and delicious, but the waffles were PERFECTION. I plan to go back sometime soon so I can try the fish.“
“My first time here was interesting. Parking is on the back side, but the restaurant faces the front. Their chicken is unmatched. Tasted good the first and second day I ate it. The service was quick and to the point. I felt a bit rushed when making my decision. The place to eat didn't seem like much was put into it, just a few tables and chairs to eat in if you would like. I got the half chicken with red beans and rice with a side of plantain. I love the season of the chicken and the redheads and rice filled me up really good. Overall, I liked this establishment. I would return.“
“I visited this establishment twice for take out dinner. The chicken is prepared to perfection always well cooked and very favorable. The rice is seasoned very well, and the cole slaw is blended just right. Actually, the best I have tasted in a while, and you can not go wrong with the garlic bread, overall really good eating.Kid-friendliness: When I visited, there were families dining inside to include children. So I will say it's family oriented.“
“Not from the area, but needed to get something to eat after visiting someone else n Sibley Memorial.Quick search of the area, I settled on the Roaming Rooster for a first time try! Young lady working the counter was very pleasant and helpful in my choice of sandwiches. Recommended, heat wise, I start with the mild flavor for my first try, chicken, BLT. Also added fries and and a large ice tea, lil lemon!Order was prepared in a timely manner, with both the chicken and fries freshly fried. One thing I appreciated is that the heat is via a mayo based sauce that cone on the side vs directly on.While it did not taste bad, I opted not to use it in n my sandwich. Their chicken sandwich is a very good! The Schroeder lettuce, tomato, and bacon were all and the chicken is flavored well, with a hint of cayenne on the end.The fries were a good, boardwalk style fries… nothing you haven’t had before, and the tea, just ok.Admittedly… I ordered with my stomach vs my eyes When the young lady informed me my total was $22., I quickly became the guy from the, don’t become your parents, insurance commercial, informing the young lady,”I’m just paying for mine?!While a lil pricy (just a lil) overall experience was great and I definitely recommend if haven’t tried RR, you should! And … no pics…. Just smashed??!“
“I can only rate this place as average because I haven't tried the food. I pass this place often so I thought I'd drop in one day. I wasn't impressed with the menu nor the prices so I decided to leave and MAYBE try them on another day...“
“Visit was on March 1, 2024 around 3:30 pm. Young man who provided customer service was very helpful and professional. Customer service is just as important to me as the food served!!! The food is always very good. Honey salmon, curry chicken w/rice and peas.“
“Listennnnnnn, I've had Astro Doughnuts before and they are amazing. But the one in VA is the only one that gives you a doughnut with espresso in it! They cut a hole in the doughnut put Nutella in there and that keeps it from soaking the doughnut.....whoever invited this is a genius. Chicken sandwiches was one of the best I've had in the DMV. The service was fantastic. She informed me on the specials and how the coffee doughnut was made.“
“very rarely give five ★ ☆ ✰ ✮ ✯ but this location deserves it.Ginele deserves a raise!the customer service is exceptional.the staff are attentive, friendly and thoughtful even on busy days.the food is always on point and orders come out quickly.definitely leading the way for nando’s locations in the DMV.“
“Food was FIRE. Ordered rotisserie chicken, and fajitas. Very tasty! So much flavor. Yellow rice was pretty good too. I ordered cole slaw as a side, and it was good but it seemed as if it was blended, mushy. Overall I would recommend this place.“
“Not really sure about atmosphere as we generally get take out but the food here is delicious. Would highly recommend if you are looking for that authentic rotisserie style Peruvian chicken. Definitely order the Yuka and Fires and get extra hot sauce as it has a delicious warmth to it.Kid-friendliness: Easy access for all.“
“I can't complain anything about their rotisserie chicken, it was nice flavor. The portion and price was ok. Don Pollo of Glenmont, it is located in Glenmont Shopping Center, where is quite old plaza in this area. If you look from outside, you might feel worry the condition of the restaurant but I was surprised a little when I got inside, their dining room is spacious, clean, and comfortable. Also a plenty of free outdoor parking lot is available.Anyway, the reason why I didn't give them 5 stars because this was my first time to try them and I got the wrong item right away! Even worse the one they gave me wrong I don't like it at all. (if something that I can eat, that might be fine)p.s. I ordered 1/4 dark chicken with 2 sides - mac&cheese/plaintain but I got salad instead of mac&cheese. Salad is never my favorite, so I had to trash it.p.s. I ordered for pick up via UbeEat app. After this happened, I let the app. know about my issue and they refunded me for only the wrong item. Not that bad.“
“Good but not great. The Brussel sprouts were fantastic. So was the honey mustard and sweet potato fries. The service was fast and friendly. Emphasis on fast. The chicken was just good. I wasn’t a huge fan of the breading and it was a touch dry. Not anything terrible, but I’ve had better. It was good enough where I would give it another chance. Overall, positive experience and I would recommend it to a friend!“
“I'm loyal to this place. The only place in SE DC that makes delicious real Thai food. They cater to my food intolerance and allergies.Dietary restrictions: Simply let them know about any food allergies and intolerance so they may accommodate you or make recommendations.“
“Fantastic food! Nice and relaxing atmosphere. Good service! Go easy on spice. Order medium at hottest unless you LOVE heat! Get peri peri sauce on the side. Chicken is amazing! Loved mango lime marinade on my chicken with medium peri peri sauce on the side. Yum!“
“This Nando's was ok...not the best, not the worst. Their chicken wings were really small, but, to their credit, they recognized that and have my daughter an extra wing to make up for it. And, although Nando's has a line selling their sauces, they don't sell them all. I love the mango lime sauce, but they don't sell that one.Parking: There is a paid parking lot about 100 yards away.Kid-friendliness: I saw several families with small children who seemed to navigate the restaurant well.“
“We ordered chicken, spaghetti, original chicken sandwich, and an ube pie.The chicken was so crispy and juicy — it was hands down the star of the show. The spaghetti sauce was a little too sweet and thr flavor profile vaguely reminded me of sloppy Joe’s. The original chicken sandwich would benefit from having an additional acidic element like pickles, there was way too much mayo. The ube pie was crispy and sweet, definitely worth getting (especially since it’s not a permanent menu item). The dining room was quite packed and we went on a weeknight. Overall definitely recommend checking this place out at least once. The staff were also very friendly and efficient.“
“Catherine Wagner, is exceptional. Her customer service skills are in 1000, she is very polite, friendly and always positive. She is the only reason I come to the 7th Street NW location and have been coming here since they opened this location.“
“The best thing was the service that the cashier that gave me was the manager, I think his name was Alvaro. And it was incredible because I asked him for my utensils and lately these people don't put them in and he gave them to me along with my lemon & herb sauces. Incredible I put 100% service and “
“No worries! The chicken is flavorful and cooked properly. I've tried most all of the sides and find the yucca and beans/rice are good choices. I don't get down this way too often, but if I am nearby and hungry, this chicken will hit the spot!!Try this chicken joint.“
“Spicebird is a take-out place inside Makan. Ordered the half chicken with two sides - chicken n wood ear mushroom and the cold noodles. Additional two sides of the crispy potato and fried rice. Although all 4 were great, I loved the chicken n friend rice most. $18 for the half chicken and two sides is a great value meal and the ingredients were fresh! Loved itVegetarian options: This is mostly a non-vegetarian place. There maybe a side or two with veg options“
“My coworkers recommended Nando's. The decor and the music we so vibrant and upbeat. The staff was pleasant and efficient. The food portions, flavor and presentation were delicious! I would return when in the area.Vegetarian options: There were a number of vegetarian options.Parking: There is a paid parking lot right around the corner if you don't want to search for parking. We had a larger group so we paid $3. It was plenty of time.“
“This is some of the BEST (and only) authentic Latin American food in DC! The fresh pupusas are some of the best things I've every eaten (I would have attached a picture but I finished them so quickly!). If you're looking for authentic Latin American and El Salvadorian food in DC, this is THE spot!“
“I have been eating here since they were Pollo Sabraso. The owner is sweet and friendly. They have the best sauces and the chicken is so flavorful. Lately I have been feeling the whole roasted fish, so delicious. You do need to check your order before leaving also be patient they only have two workers who are there every day working hard.“
“Lovely evening the outside weather is very foggy but the music and aroma inside pollo Campero is wonderful and feels nostalgicLike I’m back in time hanging with friend enjoying the trip from after school and just getting food before heading home.“
“Tried something different this time had their salmon with sides instead of chicken it was pretty good and the beef stew was good to wifey had that with sides..even I was surprised until I taste it..Parking: It was a weekend so the lot was full..Wheelchair accessibility: Definitely wheelchair accessible“
“Spot can be pretty congested with drive-through cars and cars coming out of the lot.You are better off parking at the opposite side of the lot of Chik Fila and just walk in.Stay away from Chik fila Wrap. I definitely do not recommend bland taste. Your taste buds won't have fun.“
“We just landed at DCA and were yearning for CFA, but the CFA in DCA was incredibly busy (long line), so it made more sense to drive here. Service was very quick and the food was fresh and tasty as it always is! Definitely enjoyed it and would return when in the area! There is parallel parking right out front, which you might be lucky enough to grab.“
“Really small and crowded. We tried to do a late lunch, but it didn't help.I got a dish I get often -- arroz chaufa -- but it had less flavor this time. Should have gotten a side of black beans to help it out. I love the green sauce and it seemed more mild than usual.Service was okay. A little slow.“
“Food is good like any Chick-fil-A, be careful because the meter maids are extremely aggressive with ticketing. I got out of the passenger seat to go in while my husband drove around the block and a meter maid jumped in front of the car and took a picture of the license plate as he was about to pull off. Took me less than a minute to open the door, close it, and begin to walk. I heard him ask the guy why he was doing that and he shrugged his shoulders.“
“Treated my church group. Had a very large order. They took about 7-9 minutes to prepare, fair timing. Check your bag though, they forgot my potatoes but quickly resolved. The staff was friendly and attentive outside for curbside orders. It was over 90 degrees, they worked like champs! Fast service. They did not forget napkins, thanks!“
