“Blue and White is Alexandria,VA (Old Town) staple. It a small carryout style establishment. They service all types of breakfast and lunch. Please check their menu to confirm that this is your style of food preference. No vegetarian options. If you are looking for a quick, tasty option, check it out.

Tip: Type in Blue and white carry out and you will get plenty of content of what the building looks like and types of food they serve there.

Enjoy!“

“I was surprised to see Pupusas on the menu but happy I got one! The chicken was savory, rice delicious. The pupusa was on point! The cutillo (cabbage) was fresh.

My only gripe is the smoke from the kitchen. Even though it’s minimal, it’s still notable.“

“I tried their food for the first time yesterday, based on a recommendation of a new employee at my place of work. I was absolutely shocked by how delicious the sandwich was. The chicken was crispy and juicy and the rooster sauce was dynamite! After lunch, I recommended it to another coworker who then also ordered it for lunch and tried it for the first time. She said she had the same experience I had- life changing! If you’re looking for a chicken sandwich, this is the place to go!“

“Duane provided excellent service from start to finish! He was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. His bartending was top-notch, and the drinks were absolutely delicious, well-made, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. You could tell he took his time making sure every drink was just right. He was professional, welcoming, and made the whole experience even better. Definitely ask for Duane if you visit, you won’t be disappointed!“

“I had a great experience at Popeyes! From the moment I walked in, the staff was friendly, welcoming, and professional. They greeted me with a smile, took my order quickly, and made sure everything was correct.

The food was fresh, hot, and full of flavor. The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The fries were seasoned just right, and the biscuits were warm and delicious. Everything tasted fresh, and the portions were generous.

The restaurant was clean, well-organized, and had a comfortable atmosphere. Even though it was busy, the service was fast, and the employees worked efficiently while still being polite and attentive.

Overall, I am very impressed with the quality of the food and the excellent customer service. I will definitely come back again and would highly recommend this Popeyes to anyone looking for a delicious meal and a great dining experience. Thank you for making my visit so enjoyable!“

“The waffle were delicious!“

“I went online....saw exactly what I wanted....ordered it...paid for it....picked it up and it was waiting for me exactly when the pick up time asked for..;.it was delicious and priced exactly how I expected for a tasty take out chicken dinner. Perfect.“

“Absolutely obsessed with this chicken! Been going here for years now. I always crave their chicken tenders because they're 1) humongous 2) spicy and 3) they have a variety of delicious dipping sauces. Food always comes out super fast, only have to wait ~10 min every time. Love it.“

“Clean, bright, and good vibes all around. A great spot to chill and enjoy some spicy food. Laid-back atmosphere with good music and a welcoming feel. The chicken was perfectly crispy and juicy—easily some of the best Nashville-style hot chicken I’ve had!“

“Crisp & Juicy delivers exactly what its name promises—perfectly cooked Peruvian-style rotisserie chicken that’s both mouthwateringly juicy on the inside and satisfyingly crisp on the outside. The chicken is marinated in traditional Peruvian spices, slow-roasted, and served with a smoky, addictive flavor that’s hard to replicate. Their signature green and yellow sauces take everything to the next level—whether you’re dipping the chicken, fries, or even just spooning it straight. It’s simple, flavorful, and consistently well-executed.

Beyond the chicken, the sides round out the experience: yuca fries that are golden and crunchy, flavorful rice, and plantains that add a touch of sweetness. The portions are generous, the service is quick, and the vibe is laid-back—perfect for takeout or a casual meal. Crisp & Juicy doesn’t try to be fancy—it just does one thing really well: comfort food with bold flavor. It’s the kind of place that turns first-timers into loyal regulars“

“we LOVE Chick-fil-A anywhere, but this new on in DC is Amaaaaaaazing!!! Clean and neat! The staff is SO friendly! The owner is awesome and helps the community.“

“I’ve dined here a few times now, and each experience was great. Excellent food, cocktails, and service. And it’s much more than fried chicken — there’s variety and wonderful flavor combinations to be had. The space is a little tight, but it’s part of the charm. Happy to support this gem!“

“🌶❤️🌶 We love the delicious chicken at Nando’s! They have awesome vegetarian items as well! Get the warm pastels de Natas for dessert. Life changing!!“

“Very nicely priced tasty dinners- half chicken with suitably prepared sides- plantains, rice and beans, vegetable rice. Spicy sauces also can kick up the flavor a notch. Pleasant courteous professional staff in a clean well lighted place. I will recommend to come here“

“Both the service and food were outstanding 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟The spicy miso soup was delicious, and the noodles were incredibly chewy. I loved it!“

“Best chicken!! Hope they will open a store in FL“

“All around DC and Maryland, I see masks, and many wear them, Dave's is real, to be fair then, they are the realest, the chicken is everything.

I order 2 cause ones not enough, I dip my fries and then I stuff, Dave's sauce is from outer space, and upon first taste, it brings a smile to my face. I Thank you Dave's.“

“Very good flavored chicken with tasty side dishes loved it!“

“I love the nandos experience....the area is very calming and very easy on the eye..if I ever move to DC that is the area to be in..much respect to Tammy..and the young guy who came to ask if we were good...yes people lets do our part to keep them employed...good job“

“The Chicken wings here at bbq Chicken and so scrumptious. They're consistently mouth watering and finger licking special. In particular is this the so with the honey garlic. The flavors and the cook are perfectly balanced. They're maybe a dollar more than say Wingstop, but oh man it's worth it and more. Can't go wrong with bbq Chicken.“

“The food was excellent. I have never had South African cuisine before, and it made me wish I had access to it at home.“

“The original Rotisserie chicken is season perfectly, I love the corn salad it marinates with the campero rice as well“

“A must go to, at least once. I got a meal with spicy chicken, spaghetti, a mango drink, and an ube pie. The ube pie was one of the best fast food desserts I’ve had. Crispy, airy outside with a hot, sweet, ube rich filling. The spaghetti has a seeet tang and was delightfully unique. The chicken definitely competes with some of the best like Popeyes. Only complaint is that it’s a bit pricey for fast food chicken.“

“The food here was absolutely amazing. They had so many different options the chicken is, especially the best. It's pretty juicy chicken, with extremely crunchy.Outside the flavor is amazing.I'd recommend going a little bit harder than you think. It is the location is spectacular, as it's literally inside of a shopping center. They have super kind staff, and I truly mean it.I ask them for extra crunchy, and they with a smile made it.Which is such a kind gesture?I'm so thrilled by this amazing place. This i'm definitely coming back when I come to d c the next time.Love this place. And here's a photo of my sandwich or the nuggets“

“Great Food!!! Need one in Ann Arundle county🥰“

“I was feeling home sick, I seen NY sigh and wanted to try and I'm so happy I did. If you from New York then you know Kenny chicken and it tastes just like it, omg. If know, know lol. Such amazing customer service on top of great food. I will be back.“

“Food was good but they cheap with sauce. You bought 1 order of 1/2chicken w/2sides you get the same amount of sauce for 4 orders of 1/2 chicken. This is in Bowie Md location. I guess I am not coming back there again.“

“The combination between African and Portuguese is espectacular!“

“First time even hearing about peri peri chicken but wanted to be adventurous. Every single item of my order was filled incredible flavor. I’m talking lick you lips and ask for more type flavor. It’s the one place I have revisit once I’m back. 🥰🥰“

“I tried their food for the first time yesterday, based on a recommendation of a new employee at my place of work. I was absolutely shocked by how delicious the sandwich was. “The manager John at this location is a 10/10. We can’t thank him enough for his kindness and for making us feel how we did. His entire team was warm, polite and made us feel welcome- especially Michael who first took our order. He even made me a special coffee for my long trip post meal. The whole team Pitched in to help us find our son’s missing stuffed animal and while we didn’t find it, the effort put in was tremendous. We are unsure if someone in the community picked up a small stuffed black cat at this location but we are offering a reward if anyone did and can mail it to us. My 2.5 year old son adores this stuffed animal and is so sad it’s missing. The store has our information/you can message me here if you have any information. Thank you to anyone and everyone in advance and especially the team at Chick-fil-A for making a difference in our day.“

“I swear the chicken tasted like it had national funding 😭🍗 Somehow it was too good — like suspiciously good. Crispy, perfect, life-changing. I walked in expecting fast food and left questioning every other Popeyes I’ve ever had.“

“Good food all around. Girl at the register obviously doesn't like her job or people...either way, not the place to be working as a cashier...but I don't want to dwell on just a single negative as the other 15 positives stand out!👍🏼 Restrooms were clean & maintained. Overall 4.5 Stars!👍🏼“

“The little ladies inside at the register are AMAZING, one of the cooks, an older woman, ALWAYS has smile and wave, another older woman is so very nice. Another younger woman i caught frowning at me 1 time.

It's unfortunate to the business that it is where it is otherwise the atmosphere. What get a higher for me?It's not the fault of the business. It's just it being located in fordsville. But the atmosphere is never a place of drama, so I would give it about a 3.8 just not a 4.“

“So delicious! Wish I would have taken a picture but it was so good I couldn't stop eating! There will be a next time! Hands down the best flavored Peruvian I've had. You can taste the seasonings and you can taste that smoky charcoal grilling! Side's are delicious too!“

“I would love to jion them again“

“Their food is the best my favorite is torta mexicana ,pescado frito their fries taste so delicious dip in there white sauce I also Love their customer service and how family-friendly they are . There dessert is die for .“
