“We love Washington DC so my wife and I wanted some pizza. We were staying at the Embassy suites in NW so I googled pizza that was close by. Pizzoli‘s pizzeria came up. It looked good so we took an Uber there and the pizza was excellent. We ordered a simple pepperoni pizza and my wife and I both thoroughly enjoyed it. Made from scratch good. We were a little bit surprised in that it was a smaller establishment as we thought we were going to a place that had lots of tables, etc. This place has one inside table and five or six countertops to eat at and then they have several tables outside but as noted, the food was fantastic. I liked the spicy kick of the Nashville sandwich that I may attempt the next spicy level. The mild honey butter sandwich is great for people who cannot handle spicy food. The rooster sauce is a free add-on on the side that was good as well. Tip: it may be a little messy so grab napkins.Tables: there are plentiful tables that were clean. “Two words. Pleasantly surprised. I came here on a Wednesday night, which is when Artemis have RnB night with live music. I arrived 30 mins early to ensure I had a seat. I walk in and the place is empty, which is usually not a good sign. I sat at the bar, and the bartender was super cool and nice. She ensured my group that the place would fill up. I ordered a drink and the catfish filet sandwich. The drink was a real drink if you know what I mean. No extra frills, nice, strong, and right to the point. Just the kind I like. The catfish was surprising really good too. The show kicks off and the band and the lead singer was great. They covered songs that we all knew, and my group and I sang along and had a great time. Also, one of the band members thanked us for coming and supporting and purchased a shot for my friend who's birthday it was. And as the bartender promised, the place filled up and the whole vibe was perfect. I'm glad we stuck around. If you're looking for live music on a Wednesday night, check out this place. It's not super flashy or anything, but you'll have a good time.“
