“Cool concept it’s like +6 kitchens in 1. They offer a lot of different promos on social media. From Alana pizza, I ordered the burrata and the bacon pesto pizza. The burrata was really fresh and I enjoyed the pesto pizza. From Di Fara pizza, I ordered the pepperoni, sausage and meatball pizza. Not sure if it was dough or the pizza was undercooked, but I wish there was more of a crisp to the crust. I found myself chewing longer than expected.

Location was really clean and ordering via the app was easy. There’s plenty of street parking around the shopping center. Prices are high for the area. I would definitely be back to try some of the other restaurants.“

“Amazing chef's tasting menu at ElminaDC salute to Chef Eric Adjepong & team! What a gem, such a creative & upscale Ghanaian cuisine. I just loved your delicious Ghana to the world diaspora food that it blew myself, a first gen away. And my fellow W. African friend felt the same. From the gorgeous decor, art, ambiance, yummy cocktails with dope Ghanaian themes, to starters of soup dumplings. And the yummy twist on our traditional salad with tuna slices was so creative. Then the main course an outstanding pot of our best Ghana jollof with duck beyond delicious, then egg to top it off, wow! All the flavors & presentation was out of this world. We also added my favorite street food kelewele which was so authentic. And the desserts too the puff puff bofrot was so elevated. Hands down the best chef's tasting I've ever experienced. And just saw there's a new chefs menu on the horizon, next trip back to DMV & Elmina loading. Don't know how I missed posting last summer here after my usual IG post but held off as at first was a bit antsy with name & history. “Flora's Restaurant has become my go-to spot for incredible West African food, and I can't recommend it enough!!!

The Food: Absolutely outstanding. I've tried several dishes here, and everything has been consistently delicious. My personal favorites are the jollof rice and chicken stew, both of which are packed with flavor and clearly made from scratch. You can't go wrong with the beef suya, and their fufu never disappoints. My father always orders the egusi, and my mother is hooked on the salmon. Every dish we've tried has been a winner. The menu features authentic West African cuisine prepared with care and skill, and everything tastes incredibly fresh. You can tell the chef is a true professional who takes pride in their craft. Nothing tastes rushed or pre-made. The portions are generous, and the flavors are rich and well-balanced. Whether you're familiar with African cuisine or trying it for the first time, the menu has something that will exceed your expectations.
I've also had the pleasure of trying their catering service, and I was equally impressed. The food traveled well, stayed fresh, and was just as flavorful as dining in. It's rare to find a restaurant where the catering quality matches the in-house experience, but Flora's absolutely delivers on both fronts.

The Atmosphere: It's a small, intimate spot that seats around 20 people. While they do a lot of takeout orders, it's also a nice place for families to sit down and enjoy a meal together. The space is clean and well-kept, and they always have great music playing in the background that makes the dining experience even better.

The Service: The staff work hard in the kitchen, and it shows in the quality of every dish. The owner is usually hard at work as well but definitely makes the effort to greet you, which speaks to how much care goes into running this place.

Bottom Line: Flora's is the real deal. Great food, fair prices, and a business run with integrity. If you're in the Greenbelt/Lanham area and looking for authentic African cuisine or just a solid meal, Flora's should be at the top of your list. I'll definitely be back!“

“One of the BEST Egusi I've ever had. I was pregnant and Ms. Bangura (owner) was so kind enough to have my special order ready for me on almost a nightly basis. For whatever reason, my craving was egusi and it started with just single orders every other night to ordering pans of egusi with a side of pounded yam.

My husband would do pickups for me and he said it was always easy to place and order. She has a waiting area inside and a small grocery for your quick grabs while you wait.
Parking is nice and the customer service is top tier.

The food was absolutely delicious – full of flavor and clearly made with care. What really stood out, aside from the amazing service, is that they’re open late! When I mentioned it was my first time, they kindly offered me a sample of curry chicken, brown stew, and oxtail over rice. Each one was full of flavor — so good that I had a hard time choosing!

I ended up ordering the brown stew chicken with rice, cabbage, and a side of plantains. Everything was cooked to perfection. The chicken was juicy, tender, and full of flavor. The plantains were fresh off the stove — perfectly sweet and soft.
