“This is just a really tiny little bar ... doesn't seem to be much happening, although that was my first visit before the night life began. I would like to see what the nightlife is like there. I tend to follow my friends around and don't really care for overcrowded bars. one thing's for sure they serve up some cold beers.“

“The is a true local gem. The bar is decorated in a 1970’s theme. They offer old timey beers like Stroh’s and Schaefer as well as inventive cocktails. The menu consists of unique pizzas, sandwiches and salads. Their wings are tender, tasty and delicious. The bar has a pub like quality and the clientele is friendly and welcoming. The Dive is a wonderful new addition to the neighborhood“

“Irv was an absolute gem. He said normally he is only open Wednesday-Saturday, but he welcomed us with open arms when his dog started barking at us as we approached on a Monday evening. He was very hospitable! We are in town on our honeymoon and he offered to open for a drink so we could say we visited. Absolutely recommend!“

“Marta manages to be both lively and cozy simultaneously in a rowhouse that previously housed Salt (one of my all time favorite upscale restaurants) We went for a friend's birthday, and all 3 courses were delicious, beautifully presented, inventive, and not the same old menu that you find everywhere. Very sweet wait staff was super attentive, educated about the food and wine and made great suggestions. Our original wait staff had an emergency and had to leave in the middle of service, but seamlessly another wait person stepped in to covered us. Kudos to the front of house team for handling with such skill and ease. But the food was definitely the star of the show. For me, the standout was the tuna cannoli. I'm not even sure I can do justice to this deliciousness with a crunchy outer "cannoli" shell with a slight hint of sweet surrounding a creamy center of tuna crudi with little dots of avocado cream. And all was covered with a pistachio "dust." The spicy meatballs were delectable nestled in a cloud of creamy spicy ricotta. And the Duck and Foie Gras Panzotti (little triangle ravioli) was creamy, delicious and the perfect combination of delicate tastes. And the Tiramisu Affogato ended the dinner on a delicious note! And for two people with drinks it was really pretty a good deal for the quality if the food, service and location. We will be back! Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5“

“The Greyhound Tavern is a beautiful slice of everything that gives Baltimore its heart and soul. Molly and Dave have created the perfect space to get a drink with your friends, filled with art, memories, mementos from customers, and a bangin sticker wall in the bathroom (bring additions). The cocktails are on point and are ALWAYS on theme both seasonally and for their amazing events (shoutout to their monthly Chasing Tail: Unchained and RuPauls Drag Race), Molly’s house-made sangria is out of this world, and every night Dave has the best music on rotation for a perfect time. 90% of the time it is something new that I walk away loving. I’ve been going to the Greyhound for so long, I can’t believe I haven’t left a review yet, and yet after another wonderful night there here we are. The best prices in Fells Point and the best drinks in Baltimore.“

“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Patterson Public House, and it did not disappoint. I ordered the smoked turkey sandwich, which was incredibly flavorful and perfectly cooked — definitely a standout. I also tried a couple of their cocktails, and they were well-crafted and refreshing, adding to the laid-back vibe of the place. What really made the experience even better was the service. The staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The location is another major plus — the bar sits right next to Patterson Park, so you can enjoy some great views while you eat or sip your drink. Whether you’re looking for a casual lunch spot or a place to unwind with friends over drinks, Patterson Public House hits the mark.“

“Had brunch there this morning and it was super yummy. The only complaint is that the bar chairs are not comfortable. I was in jeans and I was constantly sliding forward. I used my feet to push me back on and hold me there; I shouldn’t have to engage my muscles to sit in a bar chair. Other than that, it was great. Good food, good service, and good bartenders.“

He replied yes and if you like tacos, try the shrimp or steak tacos, they are really good. I ordered the Shrimp Tacos and Amaretto Sour. The total was less than $20. The drink was awesome, and the shrimp tacos.........whew. Did my spirit good. Food and service definitely will have me coming back! I forgot to take pic of the drink but included the tacos.?“

“For as long as I can remember, Kisling’s Tavern has been a cherished watering hole in Baltimore, and for good reason. This longstanding dive bar has earned its place in the hearts of locals, myself included, not just for its laid-back, no-frills atmosphere, but for serving up what I consider the best wings in Baltimore—a title they’ve held for years. The tradition runs deep; my father used to frequent Kisling’s when he was younger, and it’s a place that’s been passed down through the generations, continuing to serve up cold drinks, hot wings, and plenty of good memories.
Kisling’s is a classic rowhome-style dive bar, with a narrow space that’s cozy yet packed with character. The interior is drenched in old-school charm, featuring a wood-heavy construction, sports memorabilia from local teams plastered on the walls, and a massive wood bar that stretches across most of the room. It’s the kind of place where the atmosphere is just as important as the food, and the vibe is always relaxed, making it perfect for kicking back with friends or watching the game.
The bar has a second floor that functions as overflow for the main bar downstairs, so even if it's packed—particularly during Ravens or Orioles games—you’re still likely to find a spot. And that’s part of what makes Kisling’s such a reliable staple in the Baltimore bar scene: no matter how busy it gets, it’s always welcoming and never pretentious.
These are some of the best wings you’ll find anywhere, and certainly the best in Baltimore. They’ve won numerous awards for their wings, and for good reason. The size of the wings is impressive—large, meaty, and perfectly crispy on the outside without being overcooked or greasy. But it’s the signature buffalo sauce that truly sets them apart. The balance of spice and tang is spot-on, making it so addictive that I find myself ordering them every single time I’m here (I’m a purist when it comes to wings, after all).
The wings are offered in platters of 10, 25, or 50, and you’re required to choose just one flavor per order. As mentioned, I stick with the classic buffalo, but there’s a vast selection of other sauces to choose from if you want to switch things up. Over two dozen options range from garlic parmesan and Old Bay honey BBQ to more adventurous choices like spicy sriracha and teriyaki. On a recent visit, several of my friends decided to experiment with some of the other flavors, and even they were impressed by the richness and boldness of the sauces.
For about $12 for 10 wings, the price is perfectly in line with what you’d expect from a dive bar—nothing too fancy, but you’re getting great value for the quality. Given the size and crispiness of the wings, it’s easy to share a platter with friends, making it an ideal food for a laid-back night out.
No dive bar would be complete without a solid drink selection, and Kisling’s delivers in spades. They offer a good range of domestic beers on tap—think your standard favorites, along with a selection of local brews from Baltimore-area breweries like Key Brewing in Dundalk, Monument Brewing in Highlandtown, and Peabody Heights in Remington.
But the real standout when it comes to drinks are the crushes. Baltimore is known for its fresh-squeezed citrus crush cocktails, and Kisling’s has a particularly delicious rendition called the Kisling’s Crush. It’s a local twist on an orange crush, combining the citrusy goodness of an orange crush with the kick of a Black Eyed Susan cocktail, made with locally distilled Sagamore Spirits Rye. It’s refreshing, perfectly balanced, and the ideal complement to a platter of wings.
If you’re looking for a place to enjoy some of Baltimore’s best wings while watching the Ravens or Orioles in a laid-back, divey setting, Kisling’s Tavern is the place to be. From the unbeatable wings and cold beers to the cozy, no-frills atmosphere, this bar has been a cornerstone of the local scene for years, and it’s “

“I hosted a surprise 30th birthday for my husband at HYC last night. Everyone I dealt with from the moment I reached out to inquire about hosting an event there up until the end of the event last night were fantastic. I ordered food from the catering menu and everyone in attendance commented on how great the food was. Our bartender and server were great as well and I was checked on several times to make sure that everything was going well. We had a great time with great food and drinks and I would highly recommend hosting an event here!“

“Excellent experience! While my bestie was having brain surgery at Johns Hopkins I walked down to this neighborhood bar. I met the manger Dave and the bartender Merideth. Awesome people they listened to what I was going through and they were so kind and understanding. The environment is awesome and so is the clientele. Good music everything from punk, rock, and pop. But it definitely wasn’t to loud. A total non judgement zone. All different walks of life. Great pool table also. I will be visiting this bar every time I’m in Baltimore. This is definitely a hidden gem in charm city! Thanx Spirit Tavern!“

“New Years Eve here was the one of the best nights of my life. (I was in a red jump suit and fake fur coat. I sang fancy by reba and aint it fun by Paramore.) Amazing food and drinks. The karaoke was poppin. I met the owner while buying chili fries. Which were a great portion and delicious. The food truck guys are very kind. I couldn't wait to go back.It was really weird and uncomfortable to have had such a good time NYE - to then be told my ID doesn't look like me and they can't serve me a month later. When I asked for an explanation the blonde bartender said "Its Baltimore County/Maryland law that if you lose 'so much' weight you have to go get your ID updated." I am still looking for the law and it's exact verbiage. You can't remember every rando but I clearly look like my ID and have never had any problems. At the end of the day she has to do her job responsibilly so we just went and drank at Texas Roadhouse. Which was a bummer because there was no Karaoke there. :/“
