“Marta manages to be both lively and cozy simultaneously in a rowhouse that previously housed Salt (one of my all time favorite upscale restaurants) We went for a friend's birthday, and all 3 courses were delicious, beautifully presented, inventive, and not the same old menu that you find everywhere. Very sweet wait staff was super attentive, educated about the food and wine and made great suggestions. Our original wait staff had an emergency and had to leave in the middle of service, but seamlessly another wait person stepped in to covered us. Kudos to the front of house team for handling with such skill and ease. But the food was definitely the star of the show. For me, the standout was the tuna cannoli. I'm not even sure I can do justice to this deliciousness with a crunchy outer "cannoli" shell with a slight hint of sweet surrounding a creamy center of tuna crudi with little dots of avocado cream. And all was covered with a pistachio "dust." The spicy meatballs were delectable nestled in a cloud of creamy spicy ricotta. And the Duck and Foie Gras Panzotti (little triangle ravioli) was creamy, delicious and the perfect combination of delicate tastes. And the Tiramisu Affogato ended the dinner on a delicious note! He replied yes and if you like tacos, try the shrimp or steak tacos, they are really good. I ordered the Shrimp Tacos and Amaretto Sour. The total was less than $20. The drink was awesome, and the shrimp tacos.........whew. Did my spirit good. Food and service definitely will have me coming back! I forgot to take pic of the drink but included the tacos.?“

As mentioned, I stick with the classic buffalo, but there’s a vast selection of other sauces to choose from if you want to switch things up. On a recent visit, several of my friends decided to experiment with some of the other flavors, and even they were impressed by the richness and boldness of the sauces.

“I hosted a surprise 30th birthday for my husband at HYC last night. Everyone I dealt with from the moment I reached out to inquire about hosting an event there up until the end of the event last night were fantastic. I ordered food from the catering menu and everyone in attendance commented on how great the food was. Our bartender and server were great as well and I was checked on several times to make sure that everything was going well. We had a great time with great food and drinks and I would highly recommend hosting an event here!“

Awesome people they listened to what I was going through and they were so kind and understanding. The environment is awesome and so is the clientele. Good music everything from punk, rock, and pop. But it definitely wasn’t to loud. A total non judgement zone. All different walks of life. Great pool table also. I will be visiting this bar every time I’m in Baltimore. “New Years Eve here was the one of the best nights of my life. (I was in a red jump suit and fake fur coat. I sang fancy by reba and aint it fun by Paramore.) Amazing food and drinks. The karaoke was poppin. I met the owner while buying chili fries. Which were a great portion and delicious. The food truck guys are very kind. I couldn't wait to go back.It was really weird and uncomfortable to have had such a good time NYE - to then be told my ID doesn't look like me and they can't serve me a month later. When I asked for an explanation the blonde bartender said "Its Baltimore County/Maryland law that if you lose 'so much' weight you have to go get your ID updated." I am still looking for the law and it's exact verbiage. You can't remember every rando but I clearly look like my ID and have never had any problems. At the end of the day she has to do her job responsibilly so we just went and drank at Texas Roadhouse. Which was a bummer because there was no Karaoke there. :/“
