“I was randomly running errands and got hungry so I figured I stop in, It was about two people working there but my server had my drinks strong and the food coming! Beautiful soul too, she was sweet to everybody. On to the food, So delicious! Oddly filling. I got the Lengua tacos, chicken tacos, and chorizo tacos, as well as stuffed Jalapeños which were surprisingly delicious they were spicy, and bigger than I expected them to be I could only eat about one! Loved my meal.“
“What a PLEASANT SURPRISE! My wife and I frequently go to this out of the way shopping center for three stores: Ollie's, Mom's and a Goodwill Thrift store. We always pass Pollo Fiesta on the way in but never ate here before this visit. First things first, I am GLUTEN FREE and MANY "Peruvian" or South American rotisserie chicken places marinate the fowl in BEER (cerveza) and/or use soy sauce in seasoning...this prohibits the delightful pollo from my diet! The wonderful young lady who was managing Pollo Fiesta the day we were there assured me that the chicken was hand rubbed with a gluten free seasoning blend. Both my wife and I LOVED it! I had a side of black beans that were good. NOT GREAT, to me, because I am used to Cuban black beans that are seasoned differently. My wife had a side of plantain that she loved. This restaurant does not offer much in the way of ambience. But it IS very suitable for a family with young kids! The service is wonderful! I highly recommend this restaurant!“
“There's a reason why there's always a line at most Peruvian chicken restaurants and El Grand Pollo is no exception. Excellent portion sizes, juicy flavorful chicken and amazing sides. This is definitely the Hispanic soul food that will cause you to kick your feet up and take a good nap afterwards. Make sure you grab an Inca Kola to complete your meal. And ask for all three sauces“
“I made a challenge to try a different restaurant each week. Yesterday I decided to order via GrubHub and try the Chicken + Whiskey Restaurant at Columbia Mall. I ordered the half chicken meal with corn tomato salad and macaroni and cheese. The chicken was extremely juicy which I loved. The aji amarillo sauce took the chicken to another level! The macaroni and cheese was very creamy but it lacked seasoning. The corn and tomato salad tasted like it might have been made a few days before because the corn was chewy and it lacked seasoning. To me, it was not bad for the price and I was able to make two meals and doctor up the sides when I got home. Still recommend this place as the restaurant was clean and the service was good.“
“This place was sooo good I needed to leave a review. The sauces are authentic and the chicken is juicy and seasoned amazingly!100% recommend!I shared half a chicken with the chufa rice and sweet plantains. And the Jalea. It was surprisingly good especially with the yuca.We didn’t finish it all. It was so good I didn’t even take any pictures.“
“Unfortunately they no longer make Papa Ala Huancaina or the creamy potato side. All entrees that had them now have an optional side from their regular menu. The Pollo Ala Parilla had well was marinated in bold flavor (thin pounded grilled chicken).I love that you can get beans and rice as a single side, they are delicious. Yuca was alight. Coleslaw was also delicious and huge. They are very busy so call ahead to pick up.The yellow mayo sauce is very salty so a little goes a long way, while the green is also strong and spicy compared to for Americans. Personally this makes them better!Try the Thai burrito next.“
“I am extremely big on great customer service. Each and every time I have been here I have been made to feel how a customer should feel. Great service. Delicious food. I wish I had a better way to express how great this experience was, but I definitely would highly recommended this business.“
