“We order carry out but my wife said the inside is really clean when she picked up. We both got Pho and an order of Chicken Satay. Bill was $40ish, so a good price and the portions were large for that price. The Pho was awesome and had all the fixings and since we did carry out the containers were all perfectly separated so you could build it your self. The Chicken Satay was really flavorful and was like 2 chicken thighs on each skewer and there was 4 skewers total. Really really great, hate to say it but the Pho could have used some salt or something it was a little bland but I took it as being healthier because of that.“

“I just got the Sweet And Sour Chicken. What can I say other than I’m in love with it. They gave more chicken than most wings places give. However I get fried rice and an egg roll too! They keep the sauce in a bowl so I can dip or pour it on. Great food, great price.“

“Rating is based off two visits. First visit the food was amazing. Had the Mongolian beef, some sushi and the lettuce wraps. All were excellent, the server was courteous and helpful. Decided to go back since the first time was so good. Had the lettuce wraps again and tried the lobster and shrimp fried rice....was very disappointing, taste was lacking for the exception of burnt flavor. Tasted like they didn't clean their grill top all day. I expected more since it was lobster and shrimp (which were dry). With all that being said I will go back at some point.“

“Dumplings are my indicator for great Chinese take-out and they were very good here: thin wrappers, not doughy, but also didn't fall apart when you go to dip a second half in sauce. Tea was in a sturdy to-go cup (no spills) rather than a soup container.

Ordered online, paid in-person, everything was ready when I arrived, but still hot when I got home. Sauce and utensils were self-service, which I appreciated: hate to waste extras that I won't use.“

“This is my favorite Chinese Restaurant hands down. Great service and food, and they have an entire vegan menu which is awesome. My favorite is the General Tso's vegan chicken . My husband loves the Orange Chicken and Crab Wontons. If you live in Parkville, you definitely need to try them!“

“So I have ordered from these lovely folks for at least 2 years now and every single time my orders have been great! Always hot, always on time, and their delivery driver is a very understanding and polite.

“I had a light dinner her sitting at the bar, reservations recommended if you want a table or chair less Japanese style table. The tuna takai and avocado salad were both very good for the price, there is a full bar but I opted for the hot tea. The sushi chefs were busy the entire time I was there and other entrees I saw appeared ample and delicious. My waitress was friendly and efficient. Would recommend, saw many pickup carry out as well.“

“Love the food. Freshly cooked and not greasy like Lucky Express II or New Chinese Boys. This place use fresh oil and the food is great 😃. Never feel disappointed when eating and enjoying every bite 😋. The shrimp Chow mine is my go to meal. The shrimp is done does not taste mushy and they add the veggies ✨. Also they don't cut you cheap on the shrimp they add a lot, too. “Always good all the time. I don't like all places that make Chinese food. Recently I moved from that area of White Marsh and I miss that place so much. I live in Southern PA now and let me tell you there's no Chinese food like Baltimore City Roots, Chinese food. They make the best food and I really miss that about living down there. Thank you China taste. Lady that is now cooking as always cook for me when I live down on Moravia and when I lived near Erdman avenue. THE BEST NOWHERE CONVENIENT“

“It was pretty good! We were very surprised by the portions, nice and Large. For the price compared to where we live in NY, it was a steal! The food itself was ok, par for the course in this type of place.

I'd say if you have someone who's a casual Asian cuisine/sushi person, and any large families, this is worth a sit down.“

“Im surprised there aren't more reviews for this place. The food was done within 20 minutes and the workers were very nice and professional. I ordered the shrimp egg foo young, chicken and broccoli with pork fried rice, vegetable fried rice, and a few egg rolls. All of the food was good, especially for the price. The fried rice was not as salty as I would have preferred and it does not come automatically with egg but it didn't taste bad. I just prefer it done differently. Egg foo young to me is never that visually pleasing so please don't judge it based on the picture if you've never had it before. It was really good and I enjoyed it. I definitely will be ordering from this place again.“

“I have been looking for a good Chinese food restaurant for a,while. When I worked in Baltimore City, they were easier to find. In Baltimore County it's MUCH harder to find. “Here at Szechaun Express, at Box Hill, you will be knocked off of your feet by the amazing food options, and the amazing care that goes into your food! Not to mention, the service, and atmosphere is mentionable to note!
For starters, the food options. You can tell just looking at the menu that they will have something to fit your fancy any day of the week. The food is also cooked amazing, and packaged to stay warm.
Secondly, the service. They give you your food with a smile on their face always, and make sure it is packaged amazingly. You can tell that they care you stopped at Szechaun Express out of all the other Chinese Food options near.
Third, the atmosphere. Here, it is always nice to meet other people waiting for their food, and to greet the people behind the register! The atmosphere may not be the best, but is still amazingly good.
In conclusion, the food options, and how they cook your food, the service, the packaging, the atmopshere, basically a lot of aspects are amazing here at Szechaun Express, Box Hill, MD. Highly would recommend!“

“First time trying this restaurant. I was in the area for something else and searched for food near me. The wonton soup was so flavorful along with the crab Rangoon. I love that I get the option for brown rice with my main dish. I went back again.“

“I really love this place. Great prices for how large the portions are. Several times I've gone in and our waiter had gotten my group's order wrong. But anytime I go in by myself, that hasn't been an issue.
The food is also so delicious, I especially like their sushi! The spicy rolls are actually spicy, unlike a lot of other sushi places. I love the variety on the menu, it's sometimes difficult to chose what new dish to try. The inside is a little dilapidated, but in a very charming way. Super cozy, chill, and homey.
