The 3 course meal + wine pairings was such a great value and I now know I need to have more Cabernet Sauvignon in my life. The truffle frites were some of the best I’ve ever had, actual truffles not just truffle oil. And the grilled Cesar salad, with the fried capers; will be doing that from now on! I loved everything I had, and everything that was shared between family. Would definitely recommend this place!“

The menu had a nice variety of choices. I ordered a Reuben and a reasonably priced margarita. Both were tasty. We had 11 people at our table and they were all happy with their food selection.“

“We've been here a number of times. Typically it's because of a soccer event, and not by choice. I don't particularly like the food. The only restaurant i know that won't cook a burger to a desired doneness. Every time i see an order or side of fries, it's like they're from the bottom of the bag. Small little potato bits. Have to eat with a fork to get enough to fill my mouth. Service is hit and miss, especially when you're stuffed in the back dining room.“

“I just have to share the fantastic experience we had tonight. My husband and I went to The Local around 6:30 pm (prime time without reservations lol). The only available seats were a high top table in the bar area. They asked us if that was ok and we said “sure”. Within a minute or so after being seated, it became apparent that our vision of a nice relaxing dinner would be impossible in that room. The Preakness was about to begin, and that bar was loud and hopping! Don’t get me wrong, I’m not complaining, I love to see people enjoying themselves. It was a party, but just wasn’t our vibe tonight. We decided we would go elsewhere. We politely informed the hostess that we were going to leave because it was just a tad too noisy, but that we would definitely return again soon. We stressed that we were not mad, or upset. As we were walking to our car, a very nice gentleman followed us out and asked if we would consider returning if they could sit us elsewhere. We said “Of course!” We didn’t think there were any other available tables, but he said they would work something out for us. We told him we didn’t expect them to go out of their way for us and that we could wait. Within five minutes, we were seated at a lovely table in the dining room. We later learned the gentleman that helped us was none other than the owner/ executive chef Zack. We went on to have a delicious dinner with the most attentive and charming server. They demonstrated exemplary customer service, which sadly is lacking in many other establishments. We weren’t expecting any special treatment, but they certainly went above and beyond for us, and it was very much appreciated! When we were leaving, Zack happened to be outside, so he made sure to ask how our experience was. We told him it was amazing, and that his restaurant has been one of our favorites since it opened. We told him we would be back soon. Our experience there tonight is just one of many examples why this restaurant stands out, and why we will always highly recommend them! Thank you all so much for proving customer service is not a dying art!“

From the very beginning, the entire team went above and beyond—but the real star of the show was the manager, Keith. He didn’t just help coordinate the event—he genuinely cared about making it special. He offered creative ideas like incorporating decorations and even setting up a slideshow, which made the night feel so personal and memorable. When I ran into technical issues with the slideshow (of course, right before the party!), Keith didn’t miss a beat—he went out of his way to find an outside tech person to help get everything up and running. That level of dedication is rare, and it meant the world to me. The food was absolutely amazing, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff were all incredibly friendly and attentive. Everything came together perfectly, and my best friend was completely surprised—it was a night we’ll never forget. “As a couple that semi frequently travels and have been to Cracker Barrel facilities in multiple states. On 1/11/2024 we ordered breakfast and waited in less than 16 minutes our meal was served and it was the best meal we've ever enjoyed everything was hot and tasty even the coffee. “Best Greek food in Harford County! Started with the Avgolemono lemon-egg drop soup. Tangy with lots of lemon. Uses a chicken broth base. The simple feta plate was extensive with plump capers, lots of heavily marinated kalamata olives& chunks of fresh ripe tomato. Don't miss the entree: spinach+feta chicken. Large chicken breasts top & bottom sandwich a heavy layer of spinach & feta on a bed of orzo rice. Beautiful & a wonderful flavor. Included a varied & fresh Greek salad with superb Greek salad dressing. Finally, 2 deserts were split onto 2 plates for us: the heavy-syrup-filled Greek baklava, & a special lemon filo pastry of the day--very lemony. An excellent meal whether you're there for lunch or dinner. Wonderful service & a warm Greek welcome!“

Dawn took our order, served our order, check on us several times while dining, and finally gave us our check. Most waitress now take your order and give you your check and want a 20% tip.“

“I went there with 3 of my kids after a soccer tournament. We were greeted and sat immediately. Our waitress Samantha was kind and quick to take our order and anything needed while we ate. Chris ( another worker or perhaps manager there) slipped me a piece of paper asking if it was okay to surprise my kids with ice cream after they ate. I also noticed a special needs woman in the booth next to me who had ordered, then asked a dessert to be removed from her order because she said " she could not afford it". I saw that the staff comped her dessert and treated her with kindess and respect. All around I was impressed with the staff, their caring nature. The food was also great!
