“This place is a true local gem. Food is of very high quality, and everything is consistently cooked to perfection. Their consistency is actually really impressive - I’ve never been disappointed by a single thing, and I’ve eaten A LOT of their food. But everything is so good, so I haven’t really made my way outside of the same few items from their menu. The difference is that the staff actually care about their customers, and take pride in their food. It’s not so common these days, and is a pleasant surprise. It’s the reason I will always eat there.“

“This is our go to spot for week night dinner! My son wanted Papusas while I wanted a steak and cheese (get the royal with the avocado!! Soooo good!) everyone can get what they want for very reasonable prices.

“I've been here a handful of times since the restaurant has opened. It's conveniently located near one of my favorite theaters, and Andy's Pizza is the perfect spot to meet up with friends before or after a screening to grab a bite to eat and a good drink (Atlas Brewery being part of the same space is a cool touch, and I've had a couple of good brewskis too). Great service, delicious pizza. I love a thin crust and getting a single slice or two served up on a classic white paper plate really hits the spot when you want some 'za. Happy to have a casual, fun spot in the Eisenhower neighborhood. Special shoutout to Marcos, who was a great server and got me extra Parmesan 😁“

The atmosphere and food quality are great; plus the customizable “create your own” options.Only caveat/downside is that the cost can add up really quickly with the DIY options. (My $8 Red Curry Noodles went up to $18 when I swapped tofu for Chicken and added shrimp).It still tasted really good, though. Next time I want to try one of their salads (they’re huge!!!). I would eat here over Noodles & Co.“

“I’m thrilled to write this review, and with 214 previous reviews, it’s clear that many others share the same sentiment. My husband and I visited Gin Ramen for lunch, hoping to try something new, and we were in for a real treat. We sampled a bit of everything, and honestly, every single dish was a 5-star experience! From the bang bang shrimp to the bao buns and our individual ramen bowls, everything was fantastic.

We didn’t stop there—we also indulged in their cocktails and desserts. If there was a section on the menu, we tried something from it! I’m still thinking about the bang bang shrimp, the flavorful curry ramen, and the unique (but delicious) pumpkin cheesecake tempura. The chef really nailed it with that one!

The atmosphere, decorated for Halloween, added to the fun vibe, and the service was absolutely top-tier. All of our dishes came out promptly, with no long waits, and everything was prepared to perfection—nothing felt rushed.

I can’t wait to return to explore more of the menu, especially the desserts and cocktails. This is definitely a restaurant that will be around for the long haul!“

“I ordered chicken nachos via grubhub and the nachos were really good. They took the care to put the queso sauce on the side, something I did not think to request, but that i really appreciated because my chips were not soggy. There was a good ratio of toppings to chips and overall they were some of the best nachos I’ve had in the Waldorf area.“

“My husband Adam is on chemo for pancreatic cancer. Today was the first time in three weeks he felt up to going out. Because of the chemo, he has changes in taste and unexpected issues with food textures. The manager replaced his first meal with something he could tolerate and enjoy when he realized he couldn’t eat his usual favorite menu item. Excellent and caring service. The old town waterfront doesn’t have many(read: any) fast takeout/lunch options. This place would’ve been great just by virtue of being the only option, and yet here they are, being actually great on their own merits.

Excellent bread, fresh meats, succulent sweet peppers. Top tier stuff that the waterfront has desperately needed.“

“I have gone to this stone hot pizza for quite a number of years. The pizzas are fresh and light. The bread that comes on the side with the wings is spectacular. About two years ago, this came under new ownership, and the food got even better qualitywise.

“Very nice spot for a lunch. We arrived and were greeted by friendly staff. The food was made fresh, highly recommend the wraps and rice dishes. We received a soup as well which was really nice to warm up. The soup was great as well. There was a bit of a wait since the food was made fresh but definitely worth it. “Grabbed a bowl for lunch and left full and satisfied with another half of the bowl still to eat. The portions they scoop into your bowl are quite generous and the chicken and steak shawarma were both tasty. I grabbed a chocolate chip cookie as well which was quite good. I must call out the staff as well. They were all pleasant and friendly even during the busy lunch hours.“
