“I haven't been to Sidamo in a long time, pre- Covid and I live in the area. I thought I would treat myself to a lavender latte and read a book inside on a rainy Saturday. I like the vibe and ambiance. They had jazz music playing and not as loud as Starbucks. I like the art that lines the walls. It feels very homey. The last time I was here, there were a lot of mothers hanging out with other moms and their children in strollers. It was also a weekday before lunch too. Today, there were few people hanging out with their friends or reading a book. I like the couch area and where I sat to read my book, drink my lavender latte, and people watch. Sidamo also offers baked goods and lunch. From my observation, people that come to Sidamo are regulars and possibly live in the area or nearby.“
“This store has always brought happiness into my day when ever I visit. From the excellent customer service to the amazing food and drinks, I have no complaints! I hope the lovely ladies that work at this store continue to do wonderful things in life just like how they make my day every morning. :)“
“I know it's a McDonald's, and you expect what you expect. But, this location does it better than most. I've never had bad fries here, and they almost always get my special orders right. Their staff is usually friendly, very rarely do they seem like they don't want to be there. The place is always clean, and they don't typically have long lines at the drive-thru. Overall, it's just a solid location.“
“I had no idea what we were in for. What a pleasant surprise! You know it's an exceptional spot when there is a swarm of people continuously going in and out--nonstop. Busy, busy, busy! When you walk in you are serenaded with easy acoustic music and your nose goes in overdrive due to the numerous sweet aromas--chai, espresso, cakes, breads and pastries. The back and right sides are areas deemed for sitting, gathering, studying and...eating! The cash wrap is in the middle section and the items for sale are on the left. There is NO direction or signs on how or what to do when you get in so I figured I'd make my review a bit of a guide: If you're here solely for picking up an order, making a custom order, grabbing a slice of cake or for coffee, you can go straight to the cash wrap. If you are here for pastries (etc.), you'll start on the left. This area is self-serve. Grab a tray, a tray liner and OPEN the little disinfectant oven container to grab a pair of tongs. Brace yourself. You are now ready to turn around into the abyss of desserts. DON'T THINK ABOUT CALORIES. DON'T THINK ABOUT BEING JUDGED FOR ADDING 100 TREATS TO YOUR TRAY. TREAT YO'SELF. Along the wall are breads, coffee beans, and other bagged items. The containers in the middle of the section contains all the freshly made items which you can open yourself and use your tongs to place them on your tray. Each item has a display card that includes ingredients and calorie information. If you want to remember what you selected, take a picture because the packaging is not English. *In addition to the pastries, there are cakes and cake pieces--cake pieces are only available until they last--you MUST try one. Cakes is what Tous Les Jours excels at. The cake section is on the left side of the cash wrap. If you want cake, you'll order it at the cash wrap. I tried the sweet potato pastry (5/5), the melon bread (2/5), strawberry shortcake (2/5), chai tea (3/5), milk crème bread (5/5), strawberry yogurt cake (5/5). It is officially my favorite bakery.“
“Super casual breakfast place- go up to the counter and order a comforting meal. Came in for breakfast and got the morning platter with French toast and bacon and a iced mocha coffee (which was good and and overly sweet!) Price point is fair and portions are filling. Leaving a picture of my toast. Sorry there is a missing slice.“
“Went to Kokee for the first time because of Major Def's fundraiser. The workers were so nice and patient even though I didn't know what to order. Ended up getting the Brown Sugar Dalgonatte and it was so tasty, will be going back again!“
“Swung by here from out of town. We only got an iced coffee, a mocha frappé and a cheese danish, and we were impressed! The pastry was fresh, soft and yummy, and the drinks were above expectations. The baristas were friendly, too. Peeped a few salads and they looked amazing too. Seemed a lot of people were there on coffee dates.“
“Ragamuffin is a quaint little spot located in Laurel, MD. As you walk in you're greeted by friendly staff and the smell of wonderful treats. I went with a croissant and caffe latte which were delicious. This is definitely a place I can definitely visit again.“
“Decided to try a new cafe, this one stood out to me once I saw the horchata latte. Upon arriving to Centrado Cafe, I noticed it was a very calm atmosphere and everywhere in the cafe had adequate space to have their conversations, chill, and get their work done. I ordered 2 iced horchata lattes and an order of churros with ice cream. The lattes came out pretty quickly but I waited close to 30 minutes for the churros. When I finally got up to ask a out them, someone was on the way to my table with them- but they forgot the ice cream. When I told the cashier the sever forgot the ice cream she quickly got me a cup of ice cream and some spoons. Overall everything was tasty, the churros were fried perfectly and there was a filling inside of them. I look forward to coming back and trying actual food but I’ll arrive earlier next time so I dont get too hungry while waiting.Parking: Small parking lot, there is some space on the side to park but there is no street parking.“
“Edited: We continue coming back for macaroons and have had much better experiences since. Looking forward to more GF options!Original: I’ve been going for macaroons for a couple months, and coffee sometimes, but today I decided to try a hot cider with bourbon with my partner. They carded both of us, made a deal about it, and forgot to make my drink. The person who carded us proceeded to say “you ordered two?” like they didn’t check both of our cards and the receipt said 2. In fact, we watched the person behind the bar make my partner’s drink, 3 more alcoholic drinks, clean up, and put everything away. We stood waiting and staring and trying to call for someone. We ordered to-go… if you see people standing and waiting at the front, and trying to catch someone, doesn’t it mean they’re missing something? I’ll be back for macaroons, but forget getting an overpriced drink that’s made without effort and the most you get is “sorry about that”. Don’t get me wrong, their coffee and macaroons are amazing, and I’ll probably be back - but I regret tipping today and I won’t be wasting my money on a boozy drink again.“
