“Fruver is way better than any generic smoothie place! If you care about high quality ingredients and are conscious about what you eat, you definitely need to try this place. “I’m fairly new to road biking and had just bought a new to me road bike from FB Marketplace. I had sent an email through their contact form which Laurie answered and gave me enough reason to bring my bike to Proteus. I brought my bike in this past Saturday. The first person that greeted me was Paul. He checked over my bike and let me know that my bike was really in great shape and made a few minor adjustments that he didn’t charge me for. He replaced my seat and clipless pedals with flat pedals. Literally everyone in that shop made me feel comfortable and welcome. Laurie, Jeff, Duncan, Andy, Paul, yall are amazing and made me feel at home. I live in DC, but Proteus is my go to bike shop now!“

“What a welcoming little Ethiopian coffee shop! Once a market, Dire Coffee opened in 2020. Family-owned, Dire Coffee serves Ethiopian coffee beans in all different ways- black coffee, lattes, and more. I ordered the Pumpkin Spice Latte. It came out hot and strong. The woman behind the register, who's the wife of the owner, asked how sweet I wanted my latte. She was very kind!

To eat, they have a variety of food. I ordered one sambusa and it was filled with lentils. It hit the spot!

The space itself is small, but comes with many places to sit. There's a small parking lot out front.“

“PJ's Coffee in Laurel is an establishment to visit for a nice variety of flavors and coffee.

Bowie was my first introduction to PJ's and then I visited Columbia, and finally I had the opportunity to try Laurel.

Overall Im satisfied with all Locations and their services.

Sometimes it can be slower than norm but overall each employee does their best to service the customer

Their Velvet Ice and Iced White Chocolate Latte are two of my favorite to recommend.

If you ever are in the area, or you are looking for a new coffee house to try.

“I’ve been going to this cafe for around 2y ears since I first came to this neighborhood. It’s never disappointed me and the staff have always been accommodating when I make a mistake in my words, and very in and out— quick with giving you food and drinks to let you go on your merry way! The cafe has always had this calming atmosphere that’s never made me anxious, the seats are comfortable, and you have the feeling of security and safety there.“

“My partner and I came here for brunch this morning and it was excellent! We enjoyed the sweet and savory crepes, and they were easily some of the best crepes I've ever had. Everything was made fresh and piping hot! The only thing we did not love was the plastic silverware and plates. It made it a bit difficult to eat the crepes, but they have a very small staff and having real dishes would probably be way too much for them.
As a heads up, the cooking is fairly slow since everything is made to order and they make one or two crepes at a time, I think. This is not a negative, because it's very fresh and hot, so it's extra delicious! But just including it in my review for awareness. It might not be a great place to visit if you have lots of hungry kids with you who need to eat fast. The service was excellent though!“

Not a lot of seating inside. There’s one large table that could sit 6-8 people but other than that it’s only smaller tables or outside table seating.

Metered street parking or there’s an outdoor lot around the corner. Or you can walk a couple blocks from other paid parking garages.“

“This place has the best pork broth!
I feel like you could bring friends and family to this restaurant and just have shareable as the plate seem pretty large. I did bring my six month old baby and our stroller which I wouldn’t do again lol it’s pretty tight in there, but it was still enjoyable. They have a lot of fun drinks that atmosphere feels really cool when you go after 4:00 PM. The staff is really nice and I can tell each item you order is being made fresh. It took about 20 minutes to get my food. I will say the restaurant was busy inside and out and like I said it’s pretty small so they were moving as fast as they could and I wasn’t in a rush. At first, I thought this was going to be fast casual, but it’s really like a cocktail bar with really yummy food. Giving you still that restaurant experience. I wasn’t expecting it to be in College Park so happy I found it. Definitely get the fried dumplings. They were out of this world. And technically I ordered the dish that’s called spicy pork broth, but I didn’t get it spicy because I shared it with my six month old who also absolutely loved it.
I also got two drinks. They were delicious cocktails I got one called Berry Bizz (which is a sweet high ball drink), and the one pictured which is technically called citrus something but instead of orange juice, I asked them to fill it up with cranberry juice. Overall, I would say I wouldn’t bring more than one baby lol, I wouldn’t bring a stroller, and I would definitely use this as a fun cocktail night for a date night, with your bestie, or with your family. Also, my bill was high, but if you remove my drinks, you could go there and technically spend $10-$20.“

“I held off making and leaving a review for Tous les Jours after the first visit because I wanted to see if it was just first visit hype or actually a consistent experience.

Happy to announce it was the latter, a consistent experience.

If anyone has ever been to a bakery in South Korea 🇰🇷, then you will feel right at home in Tous les Jours.

From the regular and eclectic baked goods to the traditional and unique coffee selections.

Tous is a wonderful place to visit and enjoy their various options of great foods.

There are way too many to name but I highly recommend you visit to see what interests you.

“I was surprised that there weren't more people here honestly! I love the quiet vibes with the bookshelf in the corner well stocked with books of all genres. There is a $5 minimum for credit/debit cards, but I got a large coffee and it turned out great! Unfortunately, they close at 2pm today rather than 3pm, which was stated by the sign outside as well as the google maps location. Otherwise, definitely worth checking in!“

“While I do enjoy the vast variety of beverages at Starbucks that is not why I am writing this review. Since I moved in the area almost a year ago there has been a young man who has been a shining star at this location. Chris Brooks has always had a smile on his face and always welcomed me the moment I walked in! Handling mountains of orders with grace and treating every single person as a VIP. Sadly I am moving at the end of the month but I wanted to make sure he got his roses. Everyone here does a good job representing the brand, but I must say I have never experienced this level of genuine hospitality and I have been to some of the best restaurants in the country!

He makes your location shine amongst the rest in the area and I have been to several. I usually don't waste my time writing reviews and I just tip but this guy is truly special. Chris if your reading this keep doing your thing! Your day will come and thanks for making a simple cup of black coffee one of the things I look forward to.
