“My daughter and I ate here last week. It was around 5:30 pm and we were using a coupon deal that was $40 for two hibachi dinners. There weren't a lot of people in the restaurant at the time. Several people were at the bar area and we ended up being the only ones at the hibachi grill. The atmosphere was so nice, clean, and inviting. The staff was great, attentive, and personable. The food was amazing. The amount of food included in the deal was out of this world. The coupon included a combo of chicken, shrimp and steak hibachi with fried rice, noodles, soup, and salad. The portions were huge. I can't recommend this location enough. The coupon we had was from the coupon mailer...it's a steal!”

“This place makes great food and has a nice variety. Can get busy around lunch so I recommend you call ahead for pick up. Lamb and rice is ok but the chicken or fish is where the magic happens here.”

These included the sour dough bread , liver pate, Sussex smokie, mackerel and of course had a delicious dessert after. The service and the food were fantastic.”

“Just discovered a gem nearby. I ate at Kandahar on 36th Street. It is owned by the previous general manager of The Helmand. What a delight. Most reasonable prices and the food was excellent. The last few times I went to the downtown location it wasn't as good, I now know why. If you haven't been there, I promise, you won't be disappointed. 5 stars”

Gorgeous and relaxing ambience, incredibly friendly staff, delicious food and a wonderful vibe.

As an added benefit, if you like Everton FC, it also doubles as a fan pub.

Special occasions when the mood is right, we go to the ambassador for that special taste of Indian cuisine. I’ve been going to the ambassador for the last 20 years. Today I drove 28 miles from home just to enjoy dinner at this great restaurant. Thank you for the good food and good service.”

“Dave’s Hot Chicken in Owings Mills seriously lives up to the hype. The sliders were crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and the spice level was actually consistent with what I ordered (hot but still enjoyable). The fries were perfectly seasoned, and the staff was friendly and kept the line moving even though it was busy. The place was clean, the vibes were good, and I’ll definitely be coming back next time I’m craving Nashville-style heat.”

The first two drinks that I got were absolutely amazing, as they were custom-made. We also tried a flight of tequila, which was also very delicious. We both got an entrée each, and got nachos and queso. It was all absolutely delicious. The waitress kept coming back to check on us and was very attentive. Thank you for a lovely evening. “I was on the way to lunch and saw a coworker of mine's walking to Terry's cafe. At the time I didn't know he was going to Terry's cafe, I picked him up he took me there and I ordered my food. They were so friendly the food delicious and the owners were very courteous and professional and even gave me 3 chocolate chip cookies free. “I just ate what was probably well over my 100th pit beef sandwich from Jake’s Grill in my lifetime. I am blown away by how tender the beef is each and every time.

Don’t bet on the Ravens, don’t bet on the weather, but you can bet every single time that your sandwich from Jake’s will not pull apart and fall apart because the pit beef is tough. This is the food of life.

And don’t forget the ribs which sell out every day.”
