“We had an amazing dinner experience at this teppanyaki restaurant in Japan. The food was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The chef was very skilled, friendly, and entertaining throughout the meal. Every dish was cooked perfectly, especially the steak, seafood, and fried rice.
The atmosphere was warm, clean, and welcoming, and the staff provided excellent service from beginning to end. We truly enjoyed the authentic Japanese teppanyaki experience and felt very satisfied with both the food and hospitality.
Highly recommended for anyone come here and looking for a memorable dining experience. We will definitely come back again!”

“We just had the best experience at this restaurant. The staff were very helpful and polite sharing lots of big smiles. We got the lamb chops which I can honestly say are some of the best we’ve had at any restaurant. The chicken in the Tikka Masala was melt in your mouth tender. The restaurant was recommended to us by a friend who grew up in India. He said it’s true to his memories of food from his mother land. Please give this restaurant a try. You won’t be disappointed. “What a fantastic meal my husband and our son had. Son has been to many restaurants around the world and we all thoroughly enjoyed this one. We tried many different dishes and split them . These included the sour dough bread , liver pate, Sussex smokie, mackerel and of course had a delicious dessert after. The service and the food were fantastic.”

“Just discovered a gem nearby. I ate at Kandahar on 36th Street. It is owned by the previous general manager of The Helmand. What a delight. Most reasonable prices and the food was excellent. The last few times I went to the downtown location it wasn't as good, I now know why. If you haven't been there, I promise, you won't be disappointed. 5 stars”

We ordered longganisa that taste like the Philippine Vigan longanisa. The lumpia was yummy and the sauce is the bomb. I wasn’t sure if the pancit being vegetarian will not suit me, oh I was wrong it was full of umami bomb! We requested. For the kimchi fried rice, we requested to have it with the red rice instead, it was a triple WOW! The kimchi taste so very good and the tangy spicy flavor was there! Ube mochi waffle was excellent, even without the macadamia nut. What more if it was included. For dessert we had the ube flan that melts in your mouth with its silky smooth texture, and I like that it is not too sweet. They also let us taste their mango coconut shave ice on the house, delish!
I don’t have any negative to say, everything is flawless, from its homey athmosphere, superb service and the best cookery from Chef Kiko!
We will dine again and this time it will be their dinner menu. Shoutout to Zoe and Danvic! See you again folks!”

“Dave’s Hot Chicken in Owings Mills seriously lives up to the hype. The sliders were crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and the spice level was actually consistent with what I ordered (hot but still enjoyable). The fries were perfectly seasoned, and the staff was friendly and kept the line moving even though it was busy. The place was clean, the vibes were good, and I’ll definitely be coming back next time I’m craving Nashville-style heat.”

“Adorable and quirky cafe that is 100% worth all the hype, the long waits, and the hard-to-snag reservations. I visited Golden West Cafe on a Sunday afternoon with a moderately large group (7 people). We were originally hoping for a brunch reservation but could only snag a 3 PM slot -- a testament to how incredibly popular they are -- although we ended up being ready at 2 PM and called ahead to ask if they could seat us earlier. They, very graciously, were able to make space for us to come a tad earlier.

The food was absolutely incredible -- it was some combination of American comfort and Mexican / Latin American, with classic Mexican items like huevos ranchos, fish tacos, and enchiladas right next to traditional American brunch selections like chicken and waffles, hot cakes, and so forth. Their menu is also remarkably vegetarian / vegan-friendly, and it features their own house-made vegan chicken!

We decided to split a few items, including the zucchini brie hot cakes, fish tacos, and vegan hot honey chicken and waffles. All three were outstanding, but my favorite had to be the zucchini brie hot cakes. The cakes were remarkably soft and fluffy, and I loved the bit of sweetness from the zucchini (and maple syrup, of course), and the extra hit of rich creaminess and savoriness from the brie. It was the perfect sweet and savory combo, and it was easily one of the biggest surprises of the meal.

The rest of the items were also delicious, although not quite as wowing.The fish tacos were well-fried and flavorful, and I was quite impressed by how crispy and thin their accompanying fries were. I really enjoyed the flavor of the hot honey vegan chicken and waffles, but I was, admittedly, a little bit thrown off by the texture of both. It's very possible that the waffle had just gotten a bit soggy because I ate this dish last and it wasn't quite at its peak freshness. Either way, I really enjoyed my time here, and it's 100% worth I try. I can't wait to make my way back to Hampden to sample the rest of their menu!”

They were so friendly the food delicious and the owners were very courteous and professional and even gave me 3 chocolate chip cookies free. “I dined there for the first time tonight, and I was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere is quaint, cozy, and perfectly decorated. The first two drinks that I got were absolutely amazing, as they were custom-made. We also tried a flight of tequila, which was also very delicious. We both got an entrée each, and got nachos and queso. It was all absolutely delicious. The waitress kept coming back to check on us and was very attentive. Thank you for a lovely evening.
