“I ordered a meat combo with some veggie dishes on the side. When I say I was impressed, that’s a serious understatement. This was easily some of the best food I’ve had in a very long time. It was spiced perfectly and I was able to taste the zing without burning my mouth off. “Dining in DC, is paying for ambiance. Pascual was a wonderful ambiance in learning the finer elements of Mexican cuisine.

NO SALSA IN CHIPS

Guacamole was tasty but it wasn't until I built the perfect bite with the braised lamb neck did I appreciate the understatement of its balance. My friend very much enjoyed her Octopus, she got crispy she'll to accompany her dish.

The bunuelo was a nice finish, but there was the option of flan w/chocolate. The flan was good but had bitters from dark chocolate that gave the taste of espresso.

I would not dine here again personally, but it makes for a really nice backdrop of a lovely dinner.

Vegetarian options: Seafood allergy, a lot of possible cross contamination, limits your choices. However the choices are still very delicious.”

We enjoyed the inasal, tocino, and ube latte (complete with delicate latte art) courtesy of Sun and Stars Coffee. Our kid was thrilled she could enjoy an ube steamer, too-- and didn't want to stir her drink because she found the art (Hiraya's logo in this instance) so beautiful. If you want reimagined, creative, and elevated Filipino cuisine where the flavors simultaneously bring back sensory memories of the comfort food of your childhood, this is the place for you. “This place is intoxicating!! The decor is very Gatsbyesque! Totally cool private gin club speakeasy vibe. Went here for after dinner drinks with my girlfriends and it really hit the mark! The cocktails were gorgeous and delicious! I recommend the Gimlet. Staff was attentive and knowledgeable. “Closest thing to authentic Texas style bbq in the DMV area. I had the opportunity to try most of the menu. Here’s what I ate.

•Smoked Spicy Sausage- Good. spice hits afterwards.
•Smoked sausage- nice hickory flavored.
•Prime Brisket- moist! Simple seasoning. Nice smoke ring and very tender.
•Spare Ribs- the seasoning makes it flavorful. Tender.
•Dino Ribs- Massive! This can be a meal by itself.
•Smoked Turkey- Tender and juicy. Bland in flavor.
•Mac & Cheese- I had low expectations but they beyond exceed them. Nice, creamy, cheesy and seasoned well.
•Brisket Beans- This has a kick to it due to the jalapeños. Too soupy for my liking.
•Roasted Veggies (red onion, Brussels sprouts, tomatoes) - Good.
•Potato Salad (mustard based)- Heavy mustard taste but it’s advertised as mustard based. Lack spices.
•Cornbread- good
•Smoked Cheese Ball- Interesting concept. Not bad.
•Banana Pudding- Good.

4.4 out 5 stars. Amazing customer service for a casual dining experience. Staff checks in frequently with diners to ensure they’re enjoying the meal.

Vegetarian options: Roasted veggies maybe the only thing close to vegetarian to vegan.

Kid-friendliness: Yes. Infants to adolescents are welcome here.

Wheelchair accessibility: Limited. Easy for outdoor dining but indoor dining is tight for wheelchair access and the picnic tables and hightop tables make it hard for individuals to dine at.”

“I could not believe how good the food was. When everything came out I was legitimately giddy with excitement. I came here with my spouse and our three kids after hitting up a local event - so we were all hungry and a bit tired. The drinks came out quickly, and our appetizer came out shortly thereafter. And OMG the cornbread. I grew up in the south and cornbread was just so-so for me but this was hands down the best I’ve had in my 37 years. The food came out and the portions were absolutely enormous. My spouse and I shared a full rack of ribs (which were huge and meaty and so well seasoned) with a near bucket sized amount of fresh fries and a cast iron pan of Mac n cheese. My kids had tenders and fries and honestly there was so much I could’ve split one plate between the three of them. The price was super reasonable, even before I knew the portion sizes lol. I would absolutely come back and recommend it to everyone I know.”

“It was my first time going to this place , the staff can try to be more welcoming and pleaseant and help they clients to order , I had to take my mask off to speak and let them know what i wanted and as i was ordering I felt like i was being rushed to order , the food was tasting but tge owner needs to change the way the food is charged , I was charge for each separate item this is not a place where you order yourself a complete meal for a full charge , the food was delicious but I would not go back and another turn off in the bakery area they had flies around the sweet bread .”
