The noodles are hand pulled and made fresh every day and you can tell by the excellent texture and flavor! My new favorite restaurant! Also we were honored by four songs excellently played on the baby grand piano. Thank you for a delightful dinner, perfect service, and inviting atmosphere. “We visited this evening. Food was fantastic! I really enjoyed the soup dumplings! The staff was super courteous. I had brought in dessert (a cake) from outside and they were super nice about it. I had an order of egg rolls and the Szechuan lo mein, both were great. The lo mein was the perfect spice level for me (medium), and loaded with large shrimp, chicken breast, and pork. “My review might be different if I went for lunch instead of dinner, as it was relatively empty and some things interesting characters came in and wandered the restaurant while we were eating.

First, and most importantly, the food was incredible. We ordered a bunch of dim sum, and a scallion and egg fried rice. Overall, we ordered the pork soup dumplings, shrimp shumai, crystal shrimp dumplings, beef pastry, gluttonous, rice, Chinese burger and the scallion and egg fried rice.

The food was delicious, especially the shrimp shumai, the beef pastry, and the fried rice.

The staff was friendly, but unattentive unless prompted by me, but it could’ve just been an awful night.

Will definitely be back for the food, but likely for takeout“

“This low rating is Ridiculous! This is some of the best I’ve had I the city limits, and I mean that from ove the years.
I’m actually mad about the low rating, because I live close and avoided it.

And one day, I’m happy I changed my mind!
I consistently go for their wontons in hot sauce (so good), their Signipore Curry Noodles, Sum Gum Wonton Soup. They do the wonton/egg drop for $1 more (or so, ask them….).

This is awesome. The food is on point. I only have seen the super nice, quiet mannered lady w working the counter, and a gentleman behind her working in the kitchen with her. Whoever this person they complained about no longer works there. I’ve had nothing but pleasant experiences and it seems most people I see in there at the same.
These are nice people and they deserve to be told so.

The food is quality, fresh, I haven’t had anything in the menu I didn’t like. I love to cook, so I don’t eat out much. And even with that, I probably stopped here 2-3 times a month, which is a lot for me eating out.

I don’t even write a lot of reviews. But these folk deserve a 4.5 rating.
They deserve the success of their hard work and quality service.

And I rally love their cheesesteak egg rolls! Can’t forget about them!

“We come across town past several other Chinese restaurants to get our carry out here. Excellent quality and portion size, staff is family friendly. Never had an issue that wasn’t resolved without any hassle, and really never had a major issue ever in 20 years. I’ve been a customer at this location since the early 90s“

“This is my go-to spot in Mondawmin Mall whenever I’m hungry and need something quick, cheap, and filling. I’ve ordered from China Yum at least 8–10 times now (mostly online pickup or delivery), and it never disappoints. The portions are HUGE — one combo plate (General Tso’s or sesame chicken with fried rice and an egg roll) easily feeds me for two meals, and it’s only $9–$12. Chicken is always crispy, sauce is flavorful (nice sweet heat), rice is fresh, and veggies are cooked just right.
Online ordering is smooth, food is ready fast even during lunch rush, and the staff is friendly and gets the order right every time. Delivery through DoorDash/Uber Eats comes hot and accurate too. For mall food court Chinese, this place is consistently the best option in the area — way better than average. If you’re shopping at Target or just passing through, stop here. You won’t be mad. “Oriental Wok was an awesome Asian Restaurant we recently found on Buttermilk Pike in Northern Kentucky. It's a very elegant looking place with chandeliers and very nice looking decor and carpet everywhere. Despite how expensive looking the place is the prices for the food were very reasonable (at least for lunch when we were there.) We started with some Crab Rangoon which was some of the best I've ever had (them or Lin's in Cleves). For my main course I got the Sesame Chicken with fried rice and an eggroll. All of it was high level with eggroll being particularly delicious. The service was top notch as well rounding off a superb experience. We'll definitely be back and often.“
