“My husband and I stopped yesterday for lunch. The food is good quality, a good quantity at a very reasonable price, and served by very friendly owners. The owners checked several times to see if everything was to our liking and to see if we needed anything. They treat you better then family ?. I wish it was closer to home for us but we will definitely be back the next time we are in Hancock!”

“The seafood was great, and fresh. Waitstaff were friendly and attentive. The place is pristinely clean. They offer a lot of food and drink variety. It's a popular place for a reason, there's a line before they open the doors, so I'd recommend a reservation.”

“I stopped for a quick lunch, and got the soup of the day and a salad. The salad was very fresh, and very big, I took more than half of it home with me. Cream of Crab soup was the soup of the day, and it was FANTASTIC. The BEST cream of crab soup I have ever had.”

“As previously reviewed this place is a gem. The lot isn't the biggest for semi's but it's very quiet at night. The store and bathrooms are super clean. Do yourself a favor and just drive the extra 20+ miles away from the petro and act fuel stops in Hagerstown, they are clusters and spots fill fast in the afternoon. This will be a regular stop for us wherever we are trucking. If this place had showers and a laundry it would be the ultimate spot in the area. We appreciate this stores cleanliness and friendliest. There's also a small ittle Caesars and IHOP inside, BK is next door.”

“Wanted to let people know that the Subway in Hancock is very accommodating to their customers. I was looking for raspberry cheesecake cookies in Hagerstown Subways and nobody had any and wouldn’t make any. I called the Subway in Hancock and even tho they only had 3 in case boy on phone said they would do a fresh dozen and put my name on them. Absolutely love this store Subway for doing that. Thank you you guys rock!!!”

“Came in around 1:30pm. Place is clean and smelled good. Got my order in with no problems. I am wondering why the comments leave so many negative reviews. Food is great. Anyone who leaves a bad review has never actually made a pizza by hand. It takes time to prep and time to cook. If you want it fresh then wait. 10/10 for this location.👍”

“Hash browns were a little strange. I got a mix of fresh with old ones. I mean really old. The fresh ones taste like some kind of chemical and the old ones, well i didn't even try to put that in my mouth.”

Our waitress, Meg, offered exemplary service, she cultivated a welcoming atmosphere that made out-of-town guests feel like regulars. “Dear Mr. Anonymous, who "escorted" me out the door last night after demanding that I move my truck. I am 77, have two bad legs and knees (5 operations with metal inserts), had never been there before, and saw a car parked next to the building. I parked there, too. There were NO signs indicating the space as a no parking area. Put up a sign so old guys like me will know. I had to drive out to 522 to access Mercer Street, which you have now cut off as "private property". How can that be, when it was an open, two-way street I used for years before you fenced it off? I don't have a cell phone or facebook or any of that other crap that "everyone else" has that magically puts someone in the know: "You're the only one". You may have the best burgers in town - as I have been told - but I'll never know. I'll NEVER return, and hope we never cross paths again. Have a nice day.”

“We stopped here for lunch after experiencing the Berkeley Hot Springs right across the street, and we are glad we did. From the moment you step in the door, the overall vibe is great - very upbeat - and the staff is genuinely welcoming.\n\nBoth of our sandwiches were very good - freshly made, top-notch ingredients and generous quantities. The selection of cold drinks is good, and if you skip the variety of fresh cookies and other baked treats in the display case, well ... let's just say you were strongly advised Not to do that! We left full and satisfied. And with some pretty cool artwork created by some of the amazing local talent in Berkeley Springs.\n\nAn afternoon stop for coffee was equally good. It's heartening to know that a good cup of coffee that doesn't taste like burnt tree bark is still possible to buy in today's world.”

“We went into this shop, ( which is located inside Lighthouse Lattes), to buy a special dessert to celebrate our anniversary. After helping us choose these beautiful cakes, one of the wonderful women there gave us this amazing cupcake "on the house" to congratulate us on our anniversary. I cant get over how sweet that was, how much it meant to us or how nice & friendly all the women in there were. I only wish we were staying longer so we could go back again.
