“We had an amazing dining experience recently when 3 of us decided to eat at a restaurant outside of the hotel where we were staying. I am so glad we chose Longhorn. Otherwise, we would have missed out on experiencing the service that Shaun provided. Even though he serviced several other tables, he still extended the same amount of attention and care to each of us. His level of customer services was more than just “excellent.” It was “superb.” He made us feel like we were valued and he didn’t miss an opportunity to check to see if we had everything we needed and we were enjoying our meal. The food was absolutely delicious. If I were hiring, Shaun would be my first selection and he would be used as that model employee to train others on what is expected of them as a representative of the company and what we want our customers to experience. Shaun, keep up the good work. We will be back soon.“

“We had such a wonderful night there for my husband's birthday. Anthony was so polite, accomodating and friendly. Everyone that waited on us was very kind. I just want to give a shout out to Anthony because he went above and beyond. He made us want to go back as soon as possible! We each ordered the prime rib which was cooked to perfection. The drinks and the oysters on the half shell are delicious. Salads are delicious as well as the mushrooms and asparagus. Cannot wait to return and try everything we could not tonight.“

“We, had lunch at this location on Nov 10th. The service was very poor and the order came out wrong. The waiter never offered to refill our drinks. We, ended up sending food back and had taken off the bill. I, asked for a manager and the waiter only came back. This was a VERY poor experience. The waiter sucked, They may need new management.“

First of all, I want to thank the entire team, but I especially want to recognize our amazing server, Diane. She truly knew what she was doing and was one of the best servers I have ever encountered. She was professional, attentive, knowledgeable, and made our experience exceptional. A huge thank you to her!

As for the food, everything was outstanding and absolutely worth the money. The portions were very generous maybe even a little too big! We wished we had room to try dessert, but unfortunately we were too full.

“My partner and I celebrated her birthday at Ruxton, and it was an incredible dining experience from beginning to end.

The atmosphere immediately stood out. Ruxton is elegant without feeling pretentious, and it’s the kind of restaurant that actually complements dressing up for the occasion. Whether you’re celebrating something special or simply want an upscale night out, the ambiance makes the experience feel worthwhile.

For dinner, I ordered the whole lobster, and I honestly underestimated what I was getting. The presentation alone was impressive—it was served on a board nearly the size of a large wooden cutting board. At around $200, it’s definitely a splurge, but after tasting it, I completely understood why. The lobster was cooked perfectly, incredibly fresh, and so good that I somehow managed to finish the entire thing.

We also ordered the Lemon Butter Prawns, and they deserve just as much recognition. The lemon butter sauce was rich, bright, and unlike anything I’ve had before. Easily some of the best prawns I’ve ever eaten. We shared a side of broccoli, which was good, but with everything else on the table, it simply wasn’t the star of the meal.

My partner ordered the Fried Lobster with mashed potatoes, and they absolutely nailed it. The lobster was fried perfectly—crispy on the outside while remaining juicy and tender inside without tasting greasy. That’s not an easy balance to achieve, but Ruxton pulled it off.

The cocktails were just as memorable. I ordered the Shake & Bake, which I’d describe as a tequila take on an Old Fashioned, and it ended up being one of my favorite drinks from our entire Baltimore food tour. My partner’s dirty martini was also well made.

The service was exceptional throughout the evening. Our team was attentive, professional, and consistently checked in without ever being intrusive. They helped make an already special evening feel even more memorable.

Ruxton absolutely lived up to the hype. While it’s perfect for celebrating special occasions, the quality of the food, drinks, service, and atmosphere has me looking forward to coming back just to explore more of the menu. This is easily one of Baltimore’s premier dining experiences.“

“We had the fried green tomatoes as our first appetizer. They were tender and topped with lumps of crabmeat. Spectacular! Then we had the fried cheese appetizer. I can’t remember the name of the cheese, but it was delicious in the accompanying sauce and olive oil and pesto. All of the dishes we had came out perfect. My filet medallions were so tender,they melted in my mouth. Hubby got the pork loin over mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts and loved it. We will definitely come back!“

From the crew at the reservation desk to the lady who took is us to our table and Evan our waiter everything was awesome. Even with being crazy busy service was great and food was great. “We had an excellent experience at LongHorn Steakhouse in Columbia, MD, especially given that we came in with a large party of 16. The staff was able to accommodate us without issue, which we truly appreciated.

Our waitress did an outstanding job—she kept all of the orders organized and accurate despite the size of our group, checked on us consistently, and made sure refills were provided without us having to ask. The food came out promptly and hot, and everything was exactly as ordered.

Overall, the service was smooth, attentive, and professional from start to finish. Managing a large party isn’t easy, but they handled it seamlessly. We had a great experience!“

They brought me an overcooked steak, then they brought me a cold one. Smh. They took the charge off but I was so unhappy with my meal. Service was phenomenal.“
