“We love Washington DC so my wife and I wanted some pizza. We were staying at the Embassy suites in NW so I googled pizza that was close by. Pizzoli‘s pizzeria came up. It looked good so we took an Uber there and the pizza was excellent. We ordered a simple pepperoni pizza and my wife and I both thoroughly enjoyed it. Made from scratch good. We were a little bit surprised in that it was a smaller establishment as we thought we were going to a place that had lots of tables, etc. This place has one inside table and five or six countertops to eat at and then they have several tables outside but as noted, the food was fantastic. Would certainly recommended, and we will be back home future visits.“

“The last 2 years at Murphy’s on New Year’s Eve were really great. We were surprised at how delicious our meals were, steak so tender you cut cut it with a fork. Pohemia is such a fun and friendly band. The perfect place for NYE.“

When I sat at the bar I realized they did not have the wine I wanted and their selection was few for wine. “When I tell you that’s I’ve been looking for some good authentic bbq, I have! And, I’ve been disappointed up until now. I decided to give DCity Smokehouse a try. I got the smoked wings, ribs, and collards. The meats has a nice REAL smoked flavor, seasoned to perfection, and the collards were on point. I look forward to trying more food items from the menu. Being the Southern inspired menu, we opted for the fried green tomato appetizer, panko breaded deviled eggs were an unexpected and unusual offering that was phenomenally delicious. We also enjoyed their cajun pasta to round out the meal. We had courteous service from staff that were friendly, responsive and informative and efficient and fun. “Oh my goodness, these wings were soo good. I had a tear in my eye after eating them on the way back down the road because they were gone. On a serious note tho I give props where there due and this was an amazing experience, the staff was very professional and helpful even when someone came in trying to give them a hard time they handled it very well. The food was great, I love wings and a good wing spot I'll take the drive to. The cold pressed juices all were unique but i have my favorite now. I'm glad I stopped and will be stopping again in the future.“

The SriPraPhai drunken noodles with tofu was so-so. Its taste profile was more like Pad Thai than drunken noodles I have had from prior restaurants, so would not get this again. The taste wasn't bad, but not what I expected. Overall, I would still return and try this food concept chain again (similar to a food court in a mall with many restaurant options but with a small pick up window and assembly room in the back).“

“I recently stopped by District Pizza Palace for some halal eats and left really satisfied. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, perfect for grabbing a slice or sitting down for a relaxed meal with friends.

The food is honestly the star here. Their handmade, create-your-own pizzas are delicious, with fresh toppings and a one-of-a-kind taste that sets them apart from your usual pizza spots. Everything came out hot and exactly how I wanted it.

Customer service was exceptional from start to finish. The staff was polite, helpful, and made the experience even better. The place was also very clean, which I always appreciate. As a Muslim, I love having a halal pizza spot like this that delivers both on quality and service.

“What a welcoming little Ethiopian coffee shop! Once a market, Dire Coffee opened in 2020. Family-owned, Dire Coffee serves Ethiopian coffee beans in all different ways- black coffee, lattes, and more. I ordered the Pumpkin Spice Latte. It came out hot and strong. The woman behind the register, who's the wife of the owner, asked how sweet I wanted my latte. She was very kind!

To eat, they have a variety of food. I ordered one sambusa and it was filled with lentils. It hit the spot!

OB, the owner, gave phenomenal service and really knew the menu inside and out—from the specials to the flavor options and recommendations. DJ, the cook, even hand-delivered our food, which made the experience feel extra personal and welcoming.

I came in hoping to grab a half bushel of large crabs, but they were only selling them by the dozen, which made it harder to get the quantity I needed. “Omggg this America’s Best never fails me. I can confidently say that this location has the best wings in the area hands down!!! Everything cooked was cooked to perfection! The fries were crispy but soft on the inside and not overcooked just how I like them! The wings were hot and crispy on the edges but also tender. The flavors weren’t too overpowering, everything was balanced just right. I’m always hesitant to go anywhere else to get wings because I know they will never surpass the quality that I get here.
