“This place is more of a landmark for Hughesville. We call it the brownstone and use it as a landmark for directions to our home. People are super friendly, and the owner is very accommodating. They have a points system that gives you discounts for loyal customers.“
“I would definitely state that this restaurant is the greatest location to eat after visiting there with a bunch of friends! We had vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes, both of which were quite tasty. My opinion was that the goat biryani was delicious. I would very certainly return to get it.The service is excellent and the personnel is really pleasant.I would strongly advise going here!“
“Stopped in because of a fundraiser, was one of the last stops. Great bartender and beer was cold and refreshing. A actual copy of beers available with alcohol content would be a plus!Parking: Wide open. Just be careful pulling out. Can be a busy road.Wheelchair accessibility: Nice secure ramp.“
“Friendly bar and tavern—think Cheers!—with great food including daily specials such as lasagna, salmon, ravioli, and homemade desserts! Live music every Thursday night. Attentive staff and a music loving owner and crowd. We always have a good time at Babes!!“
“Big Dogs Paradise, aka BDP, is a bar, grill, and liquor store, all in one! This was a gem of a find, and we had a great time here! Their menu is pretty extensive, offering breakfast items, apps, wings, subs, daily specials, and even kid options. We ordered: +Fried Pickle Chips - battered slicked pickles with a side of Petal Sauce; some of the pickles were a little soggy, as they weren't fully dried off from the pickle juice before being breaded +Fried Breaded Mushrooms - whole button mushrooms that are coated with a butter breading; served with a side of Petal Sauce; these were my favorite - the breading was so yummy, and the mushrooms were super juicy! Loved the Petal Sauce, that seemed to have a hint of horseradish to it, giving it a nice kick +Crab Pretzel - a pretzel stuffed with claw meat, cream cheese, hot sauce, and seafood seasoning, all topped with cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese mix; the crab mixture was very creamy and delicious; the pretzel itself was a little too hard and seemed a bit overbaked +Bone-In Wings - you can opt for 8- or 16-pieces, in which we went for the latter; we had them in Buffalo Medium, well-done, and extra wet; these are colossal-sized wings! The wings were crispy and very tender, and the sauce was on point! You can ask for ranch, bleu cheese, or both! Staff were very friendly and welcoming! We sat up at the bar, and we were comfortable. You can tell that this is a local favorite, as there were regular patrons! We were provided some recommendations for next time! The space has a nice relaxing vibe to it, with the blue lighting and a few pool tables. They also seem to host various events. I'd love to return to try out their burgers and their chicken/steak & cheese! Plenty of parking in their large lot. +Fried Breaded Mushrooms +Bone-In Wings +friendly service! +plenty of parking in large lot“
“I really like the lighting. As you can see from the photos the actual bar is illuminated, which gives the restaurant a mellow amber glow. Very clean and the staff wanted to ensure my order was perfect, correct and tasty. I ordered to-go and had an amaretto sour while I waited. I decided to eat there because the bartender was generous ?, I call it a cruise ship cocktail when they are well spiked, domo arigato. Very nice selection of $5 cocktails. The reason for the 4-stars for food is my food was a bit overly greasy and my wings a tad tough. The teriyaki sauce was yummy and not too salty, and yes I like salty. I didn't have sushi this visit but when I have in the past it was fresh and delicious.Again a reminder to the readers please support of our small businesses ?“
“Great band on March 17th called, The Legendary Smooth Band who performed a great set. Food and drinks were great! Ordered chicken wings and fries! Nice location on Old Washington Road in Waldorf Maryland. DJ was cranking on break time. The crowd was colorful. The green drinks weee cool. Decorations for St. Patrick’s day Party at 9 pm was nice!!!!loved it!“
“Stopped by because I was curious and they serve food so I took a chance. It's a liquor store slash bar so I wasn't expecting the pizza to be hand tossed but it was still good. And it's a very small place but it's very friendly and calm. Gotta stop by at night at some point and yes they do have a pool table which is a plus and a few games.“
“My wife and I took two of our friends that are not local here to feed our craving that we all had for seafood. If I could give more than five stars, I would the food phenomenal!!! Shout out to ???? ? if I can give more than five stars, I would! We love how they have a jukebox to select music and the service was five stars all around! If you’re in Waldorf this is the place to go!Highly recommend the oysters, crab cake sliders, pasta and salmon! Shoot nothing missed to be honest!“
“My husband and I absolutely love Thai Palace! Always friendly service, food is delicious and the establishment is well ran! We live pretty close and love to order take out and enjoy at home! We have also dined in and the staff are very welcoming“
“Great food. Large portions. The crab dip was delicious and large enough for 4 people to share.Vegetarian options: I had the veggies with rice with a side order of black beans. The portions were large, I had leftovers for the next day's lunch.“
“Diamond in the rough! There really isn’t too much around and I really like how they’ve gone above and beyond to make the place so multi functional and appealing. Different rooms with different vibes, even a nice outdoor lounge area! HUGE indoor stage and dance floor! I went there for the first time last Saturday and I had a great time! I will definitely venture back sometimes! I loved it!“
